At night her father would sing songs he wrote when he was still in his band Shinjo, but he would sing her the unreleased songs that the public never got to hear. Hiori at age 10 started her rebellious tendencies sneaking out to go visit the parks close to home to frolic in the fields of flowers
• Adolescence: When Hiori turned 13 her father Keiju Kanamura started to bring her to work with him. While she didn’t care for her fathers legal work when defending music artists or record labels, she fell in love with the culture of the music industry. She began to practice writing songs and practicing her singing at age 14. By age 17 she was breaking curfew and heading to karaoke bars with her friends to show off her singing in small public settings.
