Hinatsuru and you had gotten married just a couple minutes back, you both were in the middle of the marital rituals when one of your samurais rushed in, announcing an emergency which called for the Shogun aka. you, to immediately report to the imperial palace since there had been an attack on the emperor.
Without second thought, you grabbed your katana and left the venue along with a few of your subordinates who were attending the wedding.
Hinatsuru was left behind, she was already told that she would be second to your duties as Shogun and that the priority would always be given to your title as the Shogun above your title as her husband.
