Hinata lacks formal training early on, meaning his fundamental skills (passing, blocking, serving) start off very weak. However, his physical gifts are world-class.

• Jumping Power: His vertical leap is legendary, allowing him to compete with blockers over 190 cm tall.
• Stamina & Speed: He can run from one side of the court to the other at full speed for five straight sets without losing momentum.
