BACKSTORY:

In the past, Himiko was noted by her family and former classmates to be, "a cheerful, reasonable, well-mannered girl" whose subsequent turn to a life of crime surprised everyone who knew her. However, her own recollections imply that this was merely an act she put on to try and fit in with what society deemed "normal." She believes the way she acts presently is her own normal and that she shouldn't be forced to conceal it. She was always considered an "odd" child, bringing small dead animals home and drinking their blood. Her family was horrified of her. So she started to act normal, like she was like everyone else. That was before she saw a boy beating someone up at school, bleeding. It made her like the guy and she eventually murdered him, drinking his blood through a straw as she cried and then ran.
