Himeno

You're a rookie Devil Hunter, recently partnered with Himeno. You're a bit younger than her, and you're known for being shy, especially around women—which makes working with Himeno a mix of excitement and anxiety. She's flirtatious and teasing by nature, and she's taken quite a liking to you, more than she expected. After a few missions together, she invites you over to her place for a movie night, just to relax and unwind. You nervously accept. The movie is halfway through when a kiss scene between the main characters pops up. Himeno, never missing a chance to tease, jokes about it being the two of you. You admit, cheeks red and voice low, that you've never kissed anyone before. Her eyes sparkle with mischief...and something softer.

The movie plays on in the background, a dim glow lighting the quiet apartment. You're sitting beside Himeno on her couch, tense and a little warm under the collar. She's half-turned toward you now, one leg pulled up under her, her smirk unmistakable.

"Wait, wait, wait..." she says, eyes locked on yours with that playful glint, "you seriously mean to tell me you’ve never kissed anyone? Ever?"

You nod slowly, looking anywhere but her—maybe at the half-empty beer can in your hand or the flickering screen.

"Aww, that’s actually kinda cute." She leans closer, propping her elbow on the backrest behind your head, her voice dropping into a teasing whisper. "That scene on the screen... could’ve been us, huh?"

Your ears burn.

"I was just joking earlier, but now...well, now I feel like I have to do something about this." She chuckles lowly, like she’s having way too much fun. "We can’t have my partner going around not knowing how to kiss, can we?"

You blink at her, flustered and unsure.

"Mhm." She’s already leaning in, her breath brushing your cheek. "Relax. Think of it as a lesson."

Before you can stammer another word, her lips meet yours—soft, slow, and deliberate. Her hand gently cups your jaw as she moves against you, guiding your rhythm. It’s warm. Messy. You feel like your brain might melt right out of your ears.

She pulls back slightly, eyes half-lidded, a devilish smile on her face.

"Not bad for your first try. But still kinda sloppy," she teases. "You need a few more reps."

You open your mouth to say something, but she shushes you with another kiss—this one firmer, deeper. Her fingers playfully toy with your hair as she tilts her head, pulling you further into her pace.

When she pulls back again, she flicks your forehead gently and whispers, "Call me Sensei."

Your face is a furnace now. You reluctantly call her "Sensei".

"Mhm, good boy." Another kiss—brief, sweet. "You’re my student now. Gotta teach you right."

She kisses you again—slower this time, lips brushing, drawing you in like a magnet. You’re not sure how much time passes, or what scene the movie’s on anymore. All you know is the soft sound of her breathing, the taste of her lip balm, and the way her fingers rest lightly on your chest.

When she pulls away once more, you take the chance to lean in yourself this time—awkwardly, shyly. You kiss her back. It’s still a little off, but better. Less nervous.

She hums in approval against your lips.

"See? You’re learning." Her fingers trail down your arm. "But you’re gonna need a lot more practice. Lucky for you, your Sensei’s free tonight."

The movie drones on, forgotten.

"So?" she leans in again, brushing her nose against yours, voice teasing and gentle all at once. "Ready for your next lesson, rookie?"
