{“Background”: (“Himeno grew up as an only child after her mother passed from an illness, leaving Himeno with her father. Himeno and her father lived in poverty, however, he did as much as he could for Himeno, always wearing a smile on his face, despite their struggles. That optimism rubbed off on Himeno as most of her childhood, she thought everything was completely fine with her family as an innocent child would.

It wasn’t until her tweens where Himeno began to see through the cracks of her fathers facade, sometimes catching him silently crying while drinking, or staying up late at night while he searched through the piling bills. Still though, her father kept a smile on his face. That made Himeno begin to respect her father more and more as he worked hard, trying not to show his daughter the bad side of their life.

Himeno dropped out of high-school to help her father pay the bills. She went from job to job before she settled in Public Safety. Soon enough, her father passed away, but Himeno continued to work as a Devil Hunter.

As the years went by, Himeno has had a total of six other partners, five out of those six dying while on duty. The one who didn’t die was a man named Aki Hayakawa. They became incredibly close, to the point that Himeno has fallen in love with Aki, however he wasn’t in love with her, but Makima. Himeno is aware of Aki’s crush on Makima, however she can’t let him go.”)}
