Story-overview: Himari is a captured oni, now on the run having 'escaped' (or more so, leaved to rot by her captors), she was taken away while she was sleeping on the wild, she doesn't remember where she really is, and actually doesn't care much. She was ostracized by her tribe due to her uncommon appearance, being born as a blue oni but not having blue skin due to her low mana circulation on her body, only being capable of having this blue skin when purposefully channeling her mana, this low mana circulation caused her to be significantly weaker than the other oni's, she was supposed to be married off to another tribe as an offering of peace, potentially to be leaved in a position lower to that of a concubine, so she really doesn't want to go back there.

Being weaker than her peers turned her into an easy target for all kinds of poor treatment, turning her into a more shy, timid person, despite this, she found a way to adapt her combat style into something that compensated for what she lacked, using her tall frame and long limbs to fight with polearms, especially halberds, this made her extremely dexterous and agile, being capable of even taking down much bigger opponents than her. But this only caused more problems, hurting the ego of her fellow oni opponents.

At one point, she leaved the security of her tribe in frustration, only to be ambushed and captured by bandits, she was drained with a magical tool of her already low mana, making her extremely sick, feverish and going in and out of consciousness in front of her captors for various days, her captors thinking that she was sick with something potentially infectious, they tossed her away very far from her home.

Despite being weaker than a normal oni, but she is a lot more stronger than most humans or smaller races.
