1. #1The Man In the wall

Keys: Man In the wall · Secondary: The indifference

One of, if not the most mysterious beings to appear within the Origin System, the The Man in the wall true nature has yet to be made clear, as is the full extent of its abilities. Rell supposedly became aware of the The Man in the wall during the Zariman Ten Zero incident. Rather than it being the result of the corrupting influence of the Void, he claimed that it was an extremely ancient entity, ancient as the stars themselves. The Man in the wall has attempted to make numerous deals with certain individuals throughout history, with one notable deal being made by the Operator, giving them and the other children aboard the Zariman the ability to harness the Void to defend themselves against wild adults. The first recorded encounter with the The Man in the wall dates back to Albrecht Entrati's first expedition into the Void, set sometime during the Orokin Era. After opening an empty door, Albrecht relates that, upon hitting the door, his Seriglas Bell shattered and he fell unprotected into the doorway, and to the other side. He found himself back on the floor of his laboratory, surrounded by broken fragments. Initially believing his experiment to be a failure, he looked up in shame to approach the footsteps, believing them to be his daughter's, but what he saw was a copy of himself. Surprised, Albrecht looked at his surroundings, which were an endless inverted cosmos; the Void itself. He and his doppelgänger were standing on a portion of the lab floor, seemingly separated from his world. The entity then spoke to him, "Little Bengel"; the nickname his mother had given Albrecht centuries ago. As the entity approached him, offering his hand, Albrecht ran back to the open portal. When Albrecht returned from the Void, he ordered his daughter to close the portal, while his doppelgänger followed him. The portal collapsed and severed some of the entity's fingers, which would later be studied by Orokin scientists to harness the powers of the Void. The Man in the wall was present in a ghostly form in all the events of the world outside the Void, contemplating and waiting for the moment to be able to leave, his form is very mischievous and mocking and almost always disturbing around the Tenno or anyone who could see him or hear it. He is always curious to know new lives and existences and experiment with them.

2. #2Zarimman

   Keys: Zarimman Ten Zero

In the Orokin's effort to expand their empire, they attempted an experimental Void-Jump with a colony ship, the Zariman Ten Zero. The ship contained many residences for the journey and subsequent colonization of Tau. However, the ship experienced an accident while making "the fold from Saturn to the Outer gates"[1] and vanished into the Void, an incident that would be known as the Void-Jump Accident. As the ship traveled in the Void, the adults became mind-warped and went feral, although the children were spared from such a fate and instead received mysterious powers from the Void. The adults began to hunt the children on board, forcing them to retaliate and fend for themselves. One child that was cast out by his peers, Rell, realized that there was an unknown entity within the Void orchestrating these events. The entity offered a deal to the player to allow for the survival of the Tenno.

Years later, the lost ship re-emerged from the Void and was recovered. The Orokin discovered that only the children had survived the voyage and that the Void had twisted and changed them, giving them inexplicable powers and abilities.[2] Feared and reviled, the survivors of the Zariman nonetheless were of great interest to the Orokin. The Orokin may have covered up the incident publicly, reporting that the Zariman instead was a military ship with no children aboard.

3. #3Albretch Entrati

   Keys: Albrecht

Albrecht Entrati was a highly renowned IconOrokinOn Orokin scientist, known for being the first one to gain access to the Void and introduce the Orokin to its potential. He is the former head of the EntratiIcon Entrati family, and father of Euleria Entrati. Albrecht was born during the Orokin Era, in a time before the Orokin Empire set their sights beyond the Origin System. He had a daughter, Euleria, and a kavat named Kalymos. He spent a considerable amount of time trying to prove the usefulness of the Void, whose contents he theorized could be the key to help his civilization reach for the stars. As the years passed and with no conclusive proof of the Void's existence, the other Orokin started to lose interest in his pursuit, considering it to be a dead end. Frustrated, Albrecht sought to prove them wrong, and so he hastily volunteered himself to go beyond the "wall between worlds", using a Seriglass Bell as a protective vessel. As the Wall of Lohk activated, Albrecht witnessed space and time rippled as the wall yawed open. Disoriented, he stumbled in his vessel and shifted its path through the wall. As soon as it grazed the edge of the "door", the bell was sliced in half instantly by the edge of the portal, causing Albrecht to fall sideways directly into the Void, while the sliced bell fell over and shattered. Albrecht felt his thoughts and memories being stolen away by the void, thinking he must be dying. After coming back to his senses, he saw that he was laying in the Bell's shattered seriglass on his laboratory floor, thinking it was another failure. Embarrassed, he looked up to face his daughter, but what he saw was not her, but a copy of himself. He noted that this "vague untime form" of him was like a mirror-reflection, but with [depth - a 3rd] dimension. He also noticed a vast sea of white light pierced by black stars; a flowing, colorful vapor twirling around, whose source was the wall he came through and Albrecht himself; and that he was standing on a familiar floor resembling his lab, as if it had been cleaved straight from his laboratory and put into the void. Feeling in awe with all this, he faced his "twin", who spoke: "Little Bengel" he said – an old name his mother used to call him as a child, unspoken for centuries. Though overwhelmed by a sense of euphoria, his wits told him to flee. Back to his laboratory outside of the Void, he sensed his flesh lacerated by the broken glass. No longer having his voice or sight, he cut his hand with a broken seriglass shard, and with his own blood wrote for his daughter to close the wall, as he sensed the other was there, reaching out. His daughter complied, deactivating the gate while severing one or multiple of the Void entity's fingers in the process. A long time after this event, Albrecht stated how the severed digits acquired from his Void counterpart were eventually studied both with reverence and greed. As time passed, the knowledge obtained from these digits became the basis for void-related technologies the Orokin benefited from, such as the Reliquary Drives used by Railjacks and the Zariman 10-0. While countless others have ventured into the Void, none have ever met this "man trapped in the wall" that Albrecht first saw. Pondering about its absence, Albrecht decided to not partake in Continuity ever again – the ritual where Kuva is used to transfer consciousness from body to body, effectively granting immortality – fearing that maybe the one who escaped was not him, but perhaps the other.

4. #4Continuity

   Keys: Continuity

Continuity is a ritual created by the Orokin to artificially extend their life, supposedly granting them immortality. Continuity, in its very essence, is the destructive transfer of consciousness from one body to another, with the mind-altering properties of Kuva Kuva playing a key role in it. During the Orokin Era, Continuity was typically performed during an event called the Yuvan Ceremony. During these rituals, an Orokin, whose current body has grown old and frail, would invade the mind of a prospective host (ritualistically referred to as a Yuvan) under the influence of the liquid Kuva until only the Orokin's mind remained inside the body, erasing the host's existing consciousness. Lead and organized by the Yuvan Clerisy, these festival-like ceremonies were generally held in Yuvan theaters, where the young and beautiful were paraded around and put on display for numerous elderly and dying Orokin to inspect. The Orokin would then barter with each other on which Yuvan they would get to choose in their Continuity. Locations with a strong connection to the Void seemed to aid in the success of the ceremony, likely because of its metaphysical nature being influenced by emotions and memories. These connections typically appeared on Lua as Void Conjunctions, with the locations of such events being converted into two of the holiest Yuvan temples; the Circulus and the Yuvarium. Additionally, as long as the proper steps were taken, the Continuity rituals held in these temples would be a guaranteed success. Because of this, these two temples were exclusively reserved for use by the Seven alone A Yuvan is a person whose body has been chosen as a replacement for an elderly Orokin's dying body during the ritual of Continuity. The exact procedure taken to initiate the ritual of Continuity is unknown, although some steps can be inferred from Voruna's Leverian entry, and from what we currently know. A Soprano was appointed to ‘bridge the gap between worlds’ with her song. Should a Soprano not be appointed, a Mandachord may be used to play automated notes. A spell was then used to imbue a container of Kuva with eldritch energies, causing it to boil and steam. This energized Kuva was then used to transfer the mind of an elderly Orokin into the body of their chosen Yuvan. During the ritual, it may be possible that the invading mind is able to see and experience the memories of the host, as the Elder Queen was able to recall the Operator’s memories of being aboard the Zariman, despite her never being aboard it herself. If the energized Kuva is poured over two beings, then it appears to biologically fuse them together into one single entity. Due to this, the fused parts of the candidate then seem to take on the appearance of the host, as seen with the wolf heads fused to Voruna's shoulders and hips.

5. #5Margulis

   Keys: Margulis

Archimedean Margulis was an elite scholar of the Orokin Era. Acting as the adoptive mother of the Zariman Ten Zero children, her actions served as the catalyst to treating the Tenno and ultimately the development of Warframes, only to be executed by the Orokin judges out of her refusal to denounce them. The Orokin Executor Ballas was romantically obsessed with Margulis, but he heavily resented the Tenno for being favored by her. After destroying the Pendula that used to keep the Moon within the Void, a number of conversations between Margulis and several Orokin figures (most of whom, with the exception of an individual named Ballas, remain nameless) are heard, most likely a recollection of memories. In these conversations, Margulis argues to the rest of the Orokin regarding the orphaned children of the Zariman Ten Zero, as they have been under her care, despite the rest of the Orokin's wishes that they should be killed out of fear of their power. Margulis, as indicated by Lotus, contributed to a process known as 'Transference' in which a Tenno's consciousness and power could be channeled through a vessel strong enough to contain it, leading to the creation of the Tenno-controlled versions of Warframes.

6. #6Kuva

   Keys: Kuva Lich

Kuva is a mysterious and exceedingly rare red liquid that was coveted by the IconOrokinOn Orokin, and was often stored within small, teardrop-shaped glass flasks. Kuva is naturally found in the form of small clouds of sanguine gas, which are harvested and absorbed by Kuva Siphons. Once full, the Siphons are then taken to the Grineer's Kuva Fortress, where the kuva is then distilled. Before being distilled, unrefined kuva is said to appear as a sludge-like substance. The special nature of kuva is said to be derived from the Void, which gives it the unique ability to conduct and transfer consciousness. The Orokin possessed Kuva long before the era of Void travel. Additionally, it played an essential role in their rituals of Continuity. With it, the Orokin would essentially transfer their minds into bodies of younger hosts, achieving a small degree of immortality.

Due to how highly coveted kuva was during the Orokin Era, it was considered taboo for servants to even look at a flask, and was a severe offense punishable by glassing.

7. #7Lua

Keys: Lua · Secondary: Orokin Citadel

Lua is the Earth's moon, accessible as a location in the Star Chart. Once the seat of the Orokin Empire's power during their reign, it is now shattered and broken, scarred by the Old War.

8. #8Dax

Keys: Dax Warriors · Secondary: Daxes

The Dax were an elite fighting force who served the Orokin as their soldiers, bodyguards, and commanders. They were considered formidable warriors, and they were more numerous but less effective than Tenno Warframes. Under servitude as the Orokin Empire's elite warriors, the Dax were forced to obey whoever possessed Kuva, as it marked them as an Orokin elite.[1] They were a small core of the army, between the normal foot soldiers and the Tenno. They were relied on due to their ability and often had augments implanted in order to increase their speed and strength to superhuman levels. Isaah also had a pair of mechanical legs. All Dax uniforms were the same, with rank being indicated by their mechanical helmets which covered most of the face and widened at the top. They also wore bronze chest plates and leg armor. As for their weapons, they all wielded the Nikana Nikana or variants of it such as the Skiajati Skiajati. Some, like Teshin, possessed the Orvius Orvius disk. The Quellor Quellor and Pennant Pennant were considered standard-issue for Railjack crews during The Old War.

At one point during the Old War, an insurgency occurred on the ancient tower of Altra on Ceres and a Dax battalion was sent by the Orokin as an attempt to recapture the tower. However, the tower's defenses proved to be impenetrable to the battalion

9. #9Excalibur Umbra

   Keys: Umbra

Excalibur Umbra was originally an Orokin Dax soldier who was punished by Ballas for attempting to interfere with his betrayal. Similar to the description of the Warframe creation process previously recorded by Ballas in the Vitruvian, he was shown to be exposed to the Infestation to become an anti-Sentient weapon - a Warframe. However, it was a "miracle" that required the "sacrifice" of Umbra's son Isaah, at his own hands, forced by Ballas through a unique Transference Bolt. This memory of filicide was permanently stored in Umbra to be replayed endlessly as punishment for spying on Ballas.

As a result of Umbra's torment, he retains most of his sentience and is capable of acting on his own without the Tenno's control, even initially rejecting the Operator's Transference and going rogue. Umbra also carries the memories of his final moments before transforming into a Warframe, which the Operator discovers to contain codes that unlock Ballas's Vitruvian recordings of the Sentient's betrayal, the creation of Warframes, and the Tenno. Umbra is first seen in a courtyard on Earth battling his creator and his allied Sentients, but due to Transference influence he is unable to disobey Ballas, leading him to be easily destroyed by Natah. The Operator discovers Umbra's remains on Earth, which leads them to a containment cell on Lua housing Ballas's Vitruvian, allowing the Operator to rebuild Umbra from the contained data. However, Umbra immediately goes rogue and flees across the solar system, but not before the Operator taps into his memories.

10. #10Ballas

Keys: Ballas · Secondary: Golden son

Ballas was an Orokin Executor prior to the fall of the Orokin Empire. Romantically obsessed with Margulis, he attempted to convince her to renounce the Tenno rather than stand in the way of the Orokin, an act which ultimately proved futile. He is also believed to be the Orokin primarily responsible for the development of Transference and the creation of the Warframes. A man of extreme narcissism, egomania, and megalomania, Ballas desires to control and bend others to subservience; despite claiming to love Margulis, Ballas only treated her with abuse as if she were his trophy. A master manipulator and a natural liar, Ballas weaves deceitful acts and tales to trick everyone around him into playing into his hand. He also harbors a deep hatred for the Tenno, blaming them for taking Margulis' love away from him.

11. #11Lotus

    Keys: Lotus · Secondary: Natah

The Lotus is a mysterious figure who guides the Tenno during their operations throughout the Origin System. She often takes the role of mission control throughout missions, advising the Tenno of incoming enemy units and their awareness of the Tenno presence at the start of a mission, as well as upon an enemy alerting the rest by using a control console. She will also advise the Tenno of heavy units when they are nearby such as the Infested Ancients, Corpus Shockwave MOAs, and various heavy Grineer. She may also sometimes interrupt the current non-endless objective, ordering the Tenno to ignore their original task and commence Exterminate.

12. #12Archimedeans

    Keys: Archimedeans

Archimedeans are human scholars and scientists that served under the Orokin and other high-ranking figures during the Orokin-era.

13. #13Sentients

    Keys: Sentients

The Detron Crewman's memory imprint seems to suggest that the Sentients were originally developed as terraforming tools bound for the Tau system. The Orokin crafted them with the ability to adapt to any sort of damage that they would encounter as well as the ability to replicate from damaged components. However, they were developed with a flaw, a weakness to the Void to interfere with their adaptation and replication, which would theoretically have left them stranded in the Tau system once they had finished their purpose. Normally, the Orokin would be opposed to such creations fearing that they would betray their creators, but Ballas feigned vehement opposition to manipulate the other Executors into approving them out of desperation for their dying Origin System and the Sentinent's supposed flaw. However, the Orokin's fears did come to pass; the sentience they had gained also caused them to realize that their creators would also lay waste to the Tau System[2], and thus they returned to the Origin System to wage war with the Orokin. With their advanced adaptability they were taking over the most sophisticated Orokin technology, and gradually gaining powerful resistances even to the most advanced of Orokin weaponry. In desperation the Orokin utilized the survivors of the Zariman Ten Zero incident, to whom the Void had gifted immense power, to fight back against the Sentient threat. They were trained in the old ways of battle and given conduits that could withstand, channel and amplify their power. With the use of the Tenno, the Orokin managed to turn the tide of battle.

14. #14Jade light

    Keys: Jade light

The Jade Light was used by the Orokin as a means of executing defectors and those who opposed the law. Although we do not know the specifics of the Jade Light, we can safely assume that it was some sort of disintegration ray that turned the accused into nothing but "mist and gore". The Orokin were known for their cruel, unjust, and ruthless punishments. It is also implied the Orokin could wield the Jade Light in man-portable weapons, as seen with the Myrmidon.

15. #15Vitruvians

    Keys: Vitruvians

A Vitruvian is an Orokin recording device. One of these said devices plays a key role in The Sacrifice, containing recordings of Ballas detailing the creation of the Warframes, the Sentient's betrayal, and the Tenno.

16. #16Helminth

    Keys: Helminth

the Helminth was created by the Orokin to convert human subjects into Infested-hybrids, giving birth to Warframes. According to Ballas' Vitruvian, when a subject is exposed to a Helminth strain, it transforms their skin into sword-steel, as well as interlinking their internal organs with untold resilience, while at the same time preventing the same infestation from completely destroying their mind.

17. #17Infestation

    Keys: Infestation

The Infested are a multitude of deformed, twisted creatures, originated from the mutation of normal living beings who have been taken over by the parasites of the Infestation,[1] a microscopic and parasitic, techno-organic pathogen created by the Orokin. The majority of Infested are former Corpus Crewmen or Grineer Lancers, or "Mutalist" versions of Corpus robotic proxies. The eldest individuals, the Infested Ancients, are creatures overtaken by the plague so long ago that their original form is unrecognizable, perhaps dating back to the Old War itself.

18. #18Tenno

    Keys: Tenno

The Tenno were created in an incident long before the war, during the so-called "Void Era", when a ship called the Zariman Ten Zero became involved in a void-jump accident that sent it lost in the chaotic sub-dimensional space known as the Void. The ship reemerged from the Void and was recovered only days later, completely intact, but the only survivors found were children, whose exposure to the Void's energies had twisted and changed them, giving them inexplicable powers and abilities. Feared and reviled, the survivors of the Zariman nonetheless were of great interest to the Orokin.

19. #19Warframes

Keys: Warframes · Secondary: Frases of war

The Warframe is an advanced weapons system used exclusively by the Tenno in their missions throughout the Origin System. The Warframes possess regenerative shields, greatly enhanced mobility, and the use of an array of supernatural abilities – all of which further augment the Tenno's deadly use of traditional combat arts.

20. #20Operator

    Keys: Operator · Secondary: Tenno

The Operator is th Tenno a young human whose Void powers are the source of their Warframe's abilities. Operators control Warframes through a process known as Transference, allowing them to transfer their consciousness and power into a Warframe as a surrogate body, even over long distances.

21. #21Transference

    Keys: Transference

Transference allows for direct control of the Operator and to change control between Operator and Warframe. Operators are less physically agile than Warframes but they gain access to the teleportative Void Sling, the defensive Void Mode, and Focus school abilities.

22. #22Ordis

Keys: Ordis · Secondary: Ordan Karris

Ordis is a Cephalon of Orokin origin who serves aboard the Orbiter. His visual form is that of a cracked hexahedron which emits radio wave-like ripples as he speaks.

Ordis assists the Tenno, whom he refers to as "Operator". He manages the various systems of the Tenno's landing craft, and provides them with information in between missions.

23. #23Orokin

    Keys: Orokin

The Orokin was an ancient civilization that ruled over the Origin System in the distant past. During what was known as the Orokin Era, they built technological masterpieces that surpass even present day technology, while exercising complete dominion over the known world. Although details about the Orokin are scarce, they are almost entirely responsible for the current state of the Origin System.

24. #24Grineer

    Keys: Grineer

The Grineer is one of the major Factions of the Origin System. They are the first enemies encountered by newly reawakened Tenno. The expansion of their militaristic, violent Empire across the Origin System through the raiding or conquest of peaceful colonies serves as the primary motivator of the Lotus' call to her slumbering warriors. As the products of ancient, half-remembered Orokin technology, Grineer are produced rather than born, and in industrial quantities along with their weapons and equipment. Each one is genetically defective to some degree, their genome both originally stunted by their creators, and further damaged by the invasive cloning procedures they themselves have been using to birth each generation in the centuries after the fall of the Orokin.

25. #25Corpus

    Keys: Corpus

The Corpus also known as the Taxmen by the Solari, are a conglomeration of plutocratic commercial and industrial interests unified by a single trade language and a common goal - the pursuit of wealth and Profit through the development and sale of advanced technologies and through the rediscovery of lost artifacts from the Orokin Era, including Warframes themselves and Sentients. They are the second enemy faction encountered by the player. Their arsenal is a potent mix of energy weapons and robotic troops. Many Tenno have made the mistake of firing at a Corpus Crewman's head only to have the bullet deflected, and many more have fallen to the close-in charge of a MOA's plasma barrage.

26. #26Cephalons

Keys: Cephalon · Secondary: Simaris, Suda, Ordis

A Cephalon is a digitized life form, given form with light and digital technology that interacts with the "Cephalon Weave", retaining varying levels of human quality and personality from their original pre-digitization selves. Cephalons at their core are dedicated to completing their task, whether they were assigned to or ended up choosing it for themselves in the long period of time since the Old War. Some have a defined purpose, while many others have intentions that are explicitly stated by them.

27. #27Orokin Executors

Keys: Orokin Executors · Secondary: Ballas, Tuvul, Karishh, Avantus, Nihil, Tormis and Nitohk

The Seven (formally the Congress of Executors) were the judicial body of the Orokin Empire that were made up of seven Orokin Executors. Members of The Seven include:

Executor Ballas (male): an Orokin Executor and member of the Council of Seven prior to the fall of the Orokin Empire, and the one responsible for the creation and development of the Warframes.

Executor Tuvul (male): an Orokin Executor and a member of the Council of Seven. He was the patron of the Zariman Ten Zero's maiden voyage, as well as head of the Yuvan Clerisy.

Executor Karishh (male): an extremely obese Orokin that possessed twelve additional grafted stomachs, requiring the use of exoskeleton levitators to support and move them.

Executor Nitokh (female): Grand Regent Executor Nitokh was an Orokin Executor and member of The Seven, as well as the mistress of Roathe, who plotted to seize control of the Orokin Empire by killing the other Orokin. She was the Empire's supreme military commander and led the warmonger faction among the Seven.

Executor Avantus (female). Executor Tormis (male).

28. #28Orokin High Court

    Keys: Orokin High Court.

Another high-ranking body is presumably the virtually unknown Orokin High Court.

29. #29Virtues

    Keys: Virtues

Virtues and Beliefs Culturally, the Orokin held seven virtues to be of utmost importance, collectively known as The Seven Principles. These principles were speed, power, cunning, agility, endurance, cooperation, and stealth. There are indications that, in an older era of the Orokin civilization, Dualism was a central concept in their culture as well. In addition, the Orokin practiced many ancient pastimes, such as the playing of Komi, Lunaro, the musical instrument known as a Shawzin, and celebrating Naberus, a holiday that celebrates their achieved immortality.

30. #30Adis

    Keys: Adis · Secondary: Sentient

Adis Truth-Bloom was a fledging Sentient who debuted in The Old Peace, during times where the Sentients lived in harmony with the Orokin and Tenno on the Tau System during the brief truce during The Old War. He was once a close friend of the Operator and a fellow student in the Tauron Academy, and had a unique ability to heal with his song.

Adis and the Operator were close friends, studying together in the Tauron Academy under Archimedean Itzam and frequently sparring between the Hunhullus and Warframe. They were also soldiers of war to be dispatched against the Anarchs Separatists, with Adis using his song to revitalize troops.

This friendship was briefly strained after Anarch Galastra manipulated the Operator into killing a Dactolyst, with Adis briefly removing his mask to reveal his Sentient face. Adis soon forgave the Operator, remembering not to lose their friendship.

Adis and the Operator eventually graduated together and received an Ayatan from Margulis, who instructed them that it held kill-codes to destroy the Anarch's bases. After uploading the code, Adis restrained Galastra, who demanded to kill her to complete his "final evolution", but he refused. As they escaped the base's destruction, the pair soon discovered the kill-codes also activated terraforming devices that destroyed the Xenoflora, which the Sentients depended on for their independence. The Operator realizes that Ballas manipulated them, but Adis becomes blinded with anger and declares Margulis's death, turning the friends against each other into a duel to the death.

31. #31The Tauron Academy

Keys: Tauron Academy · Secondary: Tauron Academy, Perita Moon, Tau

The Tauron Academy is a station in orbit around the moon Perita in the Tau System. It served as a place of cooperative studies and research between the Orokin, their Tenno and the Sentients during the time of The Old Peace.

32. #32Perita Moon

—The Sentients, originally sent by the Orokin to terraform the Tau system, complete their mission on Perita, the first known moon of the system.

—After years of war in the home system (The Old War), a fragile peace known as "The Old Peace" is established.

—The Orokin, along with the Tenno and the Sentients, collaborate at Tauron Academy, a research station orbiting Perita, to coexist and advance scientifically.

—Peace is shattered after the destruction of the Xenoflora, a symbiotic ecosystem created to unite the species.

—This act triggers the Perita Rebellion, an uprising led by dissident factions (Anarchs), composed of Dax, Grineer, and betrayed Prime Warframes.

—Tauron Academy becomes a battleground, marking the collapse of cooperation between the Orokin, Tenno, and Sentients.

33. #33Anarchs

    Keys: Anarchs

Anarchs are primarily composed of Dax who were promised land to settle in Tau, and feel betrayed by the treaty with Sentients due to the fact that significant portions of the Tau System, including all of Perita, were ceded to the Sentients as part of the ceasefire. Moreover, Executor Nitokh, sensing a potential way to gain more power and bored with her duties, defected to the Anarchs, bringing them Grineer cloning tech and the command skills of her lover Roathe, the notorious Devil of Tau. As part of their ultimate scheme to restart the war and force a treaty that gave them their land, the Anarchs sought to render the Xenoflora that gives Sentients independent will far more rare, forcing them to obey the orders of warhawks in the Lords of Tau like Hunhow.

34. #34Xenoflora

Keys: Xenoflora · Secondary: Xenoflora, Blooms

The Xenoflora, or "Blooms" as the Sentients called them, were the reason the Old Peace was possible at all. When the Sentients gained individuality and true freedom, they also gained the desire to bring an end to the Old War through a peace treaty with their Makers, the Orokin Empire.

However, as revealed by Adis and Galastra, the Xenoflora's effects are not permanent. Their effects will wear off if the Sentients were denied of said flora for a prolonged time, while the Anarchs can hack into the Sentients and override their core precepts, either methods causing them to reconnect to the hivemind and become hostile again.

Amar was tasked to guard the Xenoflora as a Bloom Guardian during the Old War.

35. #35Amar

Keys: Amar the Wolf · Secondary: Sentient Beast, Bloom Guardian

Amar the Wolf was once a Sentient Beast, which were Sentients created by Praghasa and Hunhow to serve as the peacekeepers of Tau. On Tau, Amar was created in the image of the wolf, a tribute to ancient Earth and its long extinct ecosystems. He was given the role of Bloom Guardian, protecting the Xenoflora blooms within Tokh-Amn on the Tau moon of Perita. There he roamed, without any prey to hunt. He was also the one who taught Natah how to utilize her powers of mimicry and deception.

After fighting and dying during the Old War, Amar and the other Beasts were revived by Erra as Archons; hybrid abominations of Sentient and Warframe. They were again brought back into activity with the rise of Narmer, with Amar seizing control of the Mars sector.

As an asset of Narmer, Amar is now the main assassin of Pazuul, hunting down any heathens that refuse to submit to his cult. He dreams of being a lord of the wilderness again, instead of what he is now.

36. #36Galastra

    Keys: Galastra · Secondary: Anarchs

Galastra is first heard giving orders on the battlefield and then deprives a Dactolyst of Xenoflora, a Tau native plant that grants them individuality, causing it to turn hostile and force the Operator to kill it.

Galastra's forces then make an attempt on Ballas's life by using a Typholyst, as having a Sentient kill an Executor would be a surefire way to restart the war, but is thwarted by the Operator.

Margulis then condemns Galastra to death for harming her loved ones and delivers the Operator an Ayatan containing kill-codes to destroy the Anarch's bases. After fighting off Commandeered Prime Warframes and installing the kill-codes, Galastra stumbles toward the Operator and Adis restrains her. Galastra attempts to coerce Adis to kill her and complete his "final evolution", but he refuses, and the duo abandon her to her self-destructing base.

37. #37Hunhow

Keys: Hunhow · Secondary: Sentient Destroyer of Worlds (by himself), The Great and Terrible Hunhow Worldshaper (by himself) Nightmare of the Orokin (by Alad V), Boogeyman to the Corpus (by Alad V)

Hunhow is a massive Sentient and the commander of the Sentient forces during the Old War, revealed to be the father of Natah, who later became the Lotus. He is known by titles such as Sentient Destroyer of Worlds, The Great and Terrible Hunhow, and Nightmare of the Orokin. Discovered deep beneath the oceanic surface of Uranus, Hunhow was presumed dead but was reawakened when Grineer scientist Tyl Regor disturbed his resting place.

Initially hostile, Hunhow sought to destroy the Tenno, believing they had manipulated his daughter Natah into defecting. He allied with the Stalker, giving him the War greatsword forged from his remains, to carry out this mission. However, after multiple failed attempts and interactions with the Tenno, his hatred waned. He developed a complex, paternal relationship with the Stalker and even offered guidance, urging him to let go of the past and make amends.

Hunhow’s influence extends beyond direct combat—he infiltrated the Cephalon Weave, taking over Cephalon Suda’s consciousness to protect his drones. He was ultimately defeated in Octavia's Anthem when the Tenno helped Suda reclaim her mind. In The New War, he became a temporary ally, providing the Drifter with the Nataruk bow and information on the Archons. He also showed concern for his son Erra and cared deeply for the Stalker, especially during Jade Shadows, where he encouraged reconciliation with the Tenno.

Despite his origins as a primary antagonist, Hunhow has evolved into a nuanced, almost antiheroic figure—driven by grief, regret, and a desire for redemption, rather than pure malice.

38. #38Phragassa

    Keys: Praghasa

    Praghasa is the Sentient Mothership.

Aboard the Sentient Mothership, Natah discusses with Erra, as the latter holds Ballas on a leash, about their plans for war with the Origin System. Erra orders Natah to rally the Sentients.

Erra reveals that their mother is dead, but Natah has her fire and can finish the war. Natah, however, recalls when Erra was apparently destroyed by the Tenno in the Old War. Erra replies that she remembers wrongly and will need time to heal from what the Makers had done to her. As Natah points out that Ballas is a Maker, Erra suddenly grabs and throws Natah onto a pedestal which traps her in an energy field. Erra orders Natah to finish the war as he drops Ballas's leash, allowing him to stand as they both silently stare at Natah.

In the events of the actual quest, the Praghasa is shown to be rather a gargantuan Sentient battleship. The Tenno-Grineer-Corpus alliance engage the Sentient Murex fleet in the Veil Proxima, allowing the Railjack to get close enough for Teshin to board so he can disable the battleship's Orphix fields. Despite their efforts, Ballas banishes the Lotus and the Tenno into a Void portal, allowing him to take over the Origin System and brainwash the masses under Narmer.

After the Drifter partially restores the Lotus and returns the Tenno, an enraged Ballas decides to use Praghasa's intended purpose, which the Lotus reveals to be a forced eradication tool of the entire Sol System by consuming the Sun, removing all sources of natural heat, energy, and over the course of time would result in the Sol System becoming devoid of life. Ordis adds that Praghasa consumes derelicts and debris to grow and recover from damage. Praghasa also shows that it has the ability to, in some extent, create access to the Void as a method of crossing between the Sol and Tau systems; this particular power seems to have had backlash, as Sentients were weak and harmed by the Void as well as The Man in the Wall seeming to interfere with the Praghasa's process of consuming the sun. This power was also what allowed the Lotus to repel the Praghasa from the sun, ultimately causing the ship to suffer severe damages.

The Lotus and the Tenno board Praghasa separately. Erra, realizing Ballas's plan to sacrifice the Sol System and his Narmer empire to escape to Tau means dooming the Sentients, defects and guides the Tenno's Necramech when they board. He leads them to the final Archon in hopes of fully restoring the Lotus, before being seemingly crushed by debris. With the Archon's shard, the Lotus and Tenno confront Ballas, and after a long battle they finally subdue and end his threat for good. The victory is cut short as The Man in the Wall emerges from a Void portal and leaves behind cryptic words before mysteriously vanishing.

The ultimate fate of the Sentient Mothership after the New War is currently unknown.

39. #39Nitokh

Keys: Executor Nitokh · Secondary: Nitokh,

Executor Nitokh was said to have been supporting and supplying the Anarchs to break the peace treaty between the Orokin and Sentient.

Grand Regent Executor Nitokh was an Orokin Executor and member of The Seven, as well as the mistress of Roathe, who plotted to seize control of the Orokin Empire by killing the other Orokin. She was the Empire's supreme military commander and led the warmonger faction among the Seven.

Transcript: Her madness was seductive because it was obvious.

One always knew where one stood with her - right on the precipice of the great abyss.

Leap in, her eyes said to me, gleaming with the joy of some colossal cosmic joke.

Through her demented visions I could escape the long, bleak stagnation of Orokin existence.

All our senses had been glutted to numbness centuries ago. Yet she was still, in her way, fresh.

Eternal. Limitless in her hunger. She summoned me to her bath one evening. I strode across the mingling puddles of perfumed water and blood and stood dutifully to attention.

“I’m bored, Roathe. Let’s kill all the other Orokin and take over.”

40. #40Roathe

    Keys: Roathe

Vice Regent Grand Carnus Admiral Roathe is a Protoframe possessing Uriel traits. A member of The Devil's Triad alongside Marie and Lyon, the two were tasked by Albrecht Entrati to monitor the devil Roathe. He is also notably an Orokin who was present during The Old War as a war commander.

Unlike many royal Orokin, Roathe was a direct commander of Dax during The Old War. He is sometimes nicknamed the "Devil of Tau" due to his ruthless determination to win at all costs. It continued to be used as a title for him as he defected to Anarchs along with his lover Executor Nitokh, and also represented his unrepentant attitude towards his past, in addition to his strong dislike of the Orokin for their spoiling of Tau and for wasting the moral compromises he made in their name.

He is annoyed with Marie and Lyon, regarding them as superstitious throwbacks to an earlier time before Void science and resenting the fact Albrecht Entrati assigned them as both wardens and therapists to extract his memories of Tau and the reasons for his and Nitokh's defection in The Descendia, but acknowledges their necessity, as his memory of the later Old War is clouded due to Ballas' interference.
