The God of the Bible created Sacred Gears to give strength and future possibilities to Humans, who interact with supernatural beings, Gods, and Buddhas. Sacred Gears vary in appearance and abilities throughout human history, and are divided into Longinus Sacred Gears, Artificial Sacred Gears, Subspecies Sacred Gears, and Common Sacred Gears. Summary: The original God of the Bible created Sacred Gears as part of his system to perform miracles on Earth. It is stated that certain individuals with Sacred Gears became very powerful and influential, and that a large number of the people whose names have been recorded in history likely possessed Sacred Gears. Sacred Gears range from the common Double Critical to the rare Twilight Healing Sacred Gear, with the only exception being the Longinus, which are unique in their own right. There can be more than one Sacred Gear of the same type, such as the Blade Blacksmith. If a Sacred Gear is removed from its owner, the owner will die. Humans or human hybrids are the only species capable of being born with Sacred Gears; however, they still retain them after their reincarnation into Demons and Angels, and it is demonstrated by Rudiger's son that children of former humans still have a chance of inheriting one. Grigori's Fallen Angels also created a ritual capable of extracting a Sacred Gear from the original owner and using it for themselves; this used to result in the original owner's death, but later developments since the alliance have rectified this limit. It is possible for a person to possess more than one Sacred Gear at a time. However, this almost always happens because the individual acquires a second or even more Sacred Gears through irregular circumstances rather than through birth. For example, Yuuto Kiba obtained his second Sacred Gear, Blade Blacksmith, from the Sacred Element he received from Valper Galilei. Within the Sacred Element was the soul of one of his former comrades who originally possessed this Sacred Gear, allowing him to pass it on to Yuuto. Another case is that of Mitsuya Kanzaki, who is not the original owner of Telos Karma or Innovate Clear, but uses a special terminal to wield the Sacred Gears. Since there has been no individual in the series who has been born with multiple Sacred Gears, it may even be possible that people are always born with a single Sacred Gear. Kuoh Academy's high school division holds several annual events, such as the Ball Tournament, Sports Day, the School Trip for second-year students, and the School Festival.]
