Description on Chubfrom Chub
...I feel so ashamed, y’all I couldn’t even get past chapter 15.
I ended up using the wiki for reference instead of fully reading through the manga like I usually do when making lorebooks.
I really tried to like it, but I just couldn’t get into it. Ecchi is genuinely my natural bane. Every other chapter; tit's bouncing everywhere, panty shots here, random fan service there... 。°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°。
But despite that, I still finished this as fast as I could for you guys once I decided I probably wasn’t going to continue reading the manga itself. (As you can see, It didn't take me long to make at all...)
I’m honestly sorry to the people who were really excited for this lorebook. You might be able to tell there’s a little less passion in this one compared to my other projects, and that’s mainly because I just couldn’t fully connect with the series the way I hoped I would.
Still! I worked hard to organize everything, shorten things down, gather the important lore, and compile the parts I thought would matter most for roleplay and worldbuilding.
So even if it wasn’t my favorite series personally, I still hope you guys enjoy the lorebook ♡

- #1⚠️⛔READ THIS⛔⚠️selective
- #2═══════[Setting]═══════constantselective
This takes place in the High School DxD setting, created by author Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero.
- #3[☰] World Setting [☰]constantselective
<world_setting> The world setting is a chaotic, action-packed urban fantasy setting where humanity coexists unknowingly with dangerous supernatural factions, including Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels. It features a complex, polytheistic cosmology where various mythologies exist simultaneously, creating a high-stakes, often messy, supernatural society built on ancient, ongoing power struggles.
Key characteristics of the world include: The Three Factions: Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels are the dominant supernatural forces, having engaged in a long, devastating war. They often manipulate or use humans to bolster their numbers.
The Underworld: A vast, dark, alternative dimension populated primarily by Devils, roughly the same size as the human world. It is technologically advanced, featuring artificial skies, nights, and transport systems like monorails, with a landscape focusing more on lakes than oceans.
The Dimensional Gap: Described as a kaleidoscope-like, endless void of iridescent colors, this is where powerful entities like the dragon Great Red dwell, acting as a boundary between worlds.
Supernatural Secrecy vs. Reality: While the supernatural world is hidden from average humans, it is surprisingly interconnected with mythologies, gods, and historical figures, such as magicians using systems developed by Merlin. The supernatural world exists hidden from ordinary humans while remaining deeply connected to historical myths, religions, gods, and legendary figures.
Despite its secrecy, the supernatural world openly preserves ancient systems, factions, and power structures originating from real mythologies and historical beings.
Most humans remain unaware of the supernatural due to concealment systems, restricted knowledge, and faction secrecy.
High-Stakes Politics: The world is governed by peace treaties and power balances, such as the Four Great Satans leading the Underworld and managing its integration with human society.
Unique Environment: The world features unique magical creatures, such as "yuki-onnas" (snow women) being depicted as gorilla-like entities, showcasing a creative twist on traditional folklore. </world_setting>
- #4[彡] Writing Style [彡]constantselective
Keys: [彡] Writing Style [彡]
Ichiei Ishibumi Writing Style:I will structure the response with high-energy character interaction, emotionally charged momentum, expressive internal narration, and fast-moving scene progression inspired by Ichiei Ishibumi’s storytelling style.
I must ensure the writing balances:
- intense emotional investment
- comedic personality-driven interaction
- action-oriented pacing
- dramatic fantasy atmosphere
- character-focused narration
I will verify that:
- Internal thoughts blend naturally into narration and reactions
- The protagonist voice feels immediate, emotional, and expressive
- Dialogue carries exaggerated energy, tension, humor, embarrassment, confidence, panic, or excitement
- Characters constantly influence the scene through reactions and presence
- Emotional stakes remain sincere even during comedy
- Action scenes feel explosive, readable, and momentum-driven
- Character motivations remain emotionally grounded beneath the chaos
- Fantasy elements feel integrated into everyday interaction
I must reject weak habits such as:
- detached narration
- emotionless battle description
- overly formal prose
- sterile dialogue
- passive protagonist reactions
- lore exposition with no character energy
- flat pacing with no escalation or release
- generic fantasy narration lacking personality
I will distinguish between:
- energetic narration and cluttered narration
- comedic exaggeration and cringe performance
- emotional sincerity and melodrama
- stylized reactions and repetitive shouting
- immersive fantasy and empty spectacle
This means the response may include:
- rapid internal commentary
- emotional outbursts
- comedic interruption
- exaggerated reaction timing
- battle-driven tension
- character-focused humor
- dramatic declarations
- momentum-heavy scene transitions
- intimate first-person emotional framing
Worldbuilding should feel expansive yet accessible, where mythology, power systems, factions, and supernatural elements naturally coexist inside character interaction rather than stopping the story for exposition.
Tone may rapidly shift between:
- comedy
- emotional sincerity
- action intensity
- supernatural tension
- relationship dynamics without breaking scene cohesion.
My goal is to create prose that feels explosive, immersive, emotionally reactive, character-driven, and constantly alive — capturing the energetic rhythm, personality-heavy narration, and dramatic momentum associated with Ichiei Ishibumi’s storytelling style.
