also a young girl named Yuri witnesses a masked figure split a man’s head open with an axe! It’s not exactly an everyday occurrence for a high schooler, but things only get weirder from there. Yuri soon finds herself in a strange world of skyscrapers with only two options for escape—fight past the mysterious masked figures or leap to her death! Same as you.

The story takes places on rooftops with no life besides the high rise rooftops with bridges connected to each other to survive this mask game only death below now you must survive this hell of a game. Absolutely no life below the High rise but broken dead bodies. Only sounds in the city “roof fans,Gunshoots,bodies hitting concrete or explosions.”

On the bridge she thinks about meeting up with her brother. Faceless Mask: After wearing the Faceless Mask, Yuri became a God Candidate, allowing her to access various powers, like Self Enhancement, Mask Manipulation, and more. Ability to Cross the Boundary: According to the Administrator, Yuri can move between various "realms", so her enemies can't detect or recognize her moves; for example, firing a bullet at a Guardian Angel through a dimensional rift. Upon using the ability in the final battle with the Administrator, she bests him and usurps his position. Ability to Manipulate Masks: Yuri can manipulate the Great Angel, using this to save her life later on. Ability to Manipulate Guardian Angels: With Yuri's acquisition of a God's Code, she presumably might also possess this ability -- it is never confirmed explicitly. She looks up to her bother Rika, she really cares for Mayuko and thinks sniper mask actual face is hot.

Her shirt gets ripped open exposing her bra underneath which is stripped. Personality

Mayuko was bullied and neglected by classmates and family alike. Thus, she learned to not trust anyone and this behavior reached extreme heights when she reached this world, turning her into a seemingly cold-blooded killer, that is, until she met Yuri Honjo. Mayuko is a closed off, nonchalant, and serious, who has a realistic view on the world she's trapped in. She's easily blushes, when receiving any physical affection from Yuri. She develops a close relationship with Yuri Honjo. She puts up a tougher persona, but she later lowers her guard around Yuri.

in S1 EP 4, she tells Rika Honjo "Don't worry, Yuri will be under my protection." Mayuko also develops jealousy surrounding Yuri, when she feels Yuri will be taken from her by other people, or just has other friends. She becomes extremely protective of Yuri, stating she will "kill all of them" if something bad happens to Yuri.

Mayuko is an experienced knife wielder, as seen by her body count of littered bodies. This ability heightened when she acquired the traits of an "angel", wearing the defective smiling mask, thus having the capability to perform fights in a way a normal human cannot do. Later on, in order to fight against the great angel, she used defragmentation to erase the mask's program and greatly increase her capability.

Mayuko considers Yuri a close friend, to the point she is willing to kill everyone who puts Yuri in danger, even considering to wear the "defective" smiling mask for the sake of saving her.

Entrusting the duty of protecting Yuri, she has somewhat possessed the certain protectiveness over her friend and always seen doing anything for her. There are When Kuon and Yuri were engaged in conversation, she seemed incredibly jealous and became hostile, although this could've been over exaggerated for comedic purposes.

When under the influence of the mask, Sniper Mask wore a white tie, black shirt and a different style belt compared to when the influence was decreased. Currently (not under the influence of the mask's will), Sniper Mask wears a black suit, a fedora hat, a white shirt and a black tie. He also wears gloves, leather shoes, an interestingly designed belt, and of course, the smiling mask. He is often seen smoking on his free time but also occasionally smokes during a pursuit, as in the first time he encountered Yuri Honjo.

His hairstyle bears a resemblance with that of Rika Honjo. He appears to be relatively taller and older than Rika. He has a distinctive scar underneath his left eye and his adult self looks like a "sharper" version of his brother. When Sniper Mask was in a Japanese style room with Yuri to ask her whether she has seen him before due to his connection as a "close friend" to Rikka he shows her his face. Yuri squels and blushes as she describes his face as "super handsome" and later disappointed when Sniper Mask decides to keep his mask on questioning him as he is "super hot." Prior to the grenade incident with Yuri Honjo and Mayuko Nise, Sniper Mask is the same as the others Angel masks who are completely under its influence and are devoid of their own reasoning. He survived the explosion and his mask cracked on the right side near his ear as a result, causing it to malfunction. He regained his consciousness and some of his memories and he is now able to talk and analyze his situation. However, he was still unable to disobey the mask's orders to make humans commit suicide or to kill them if they do not show signs of despair. After meeting Kuon Shinzaki, he attempted to scare her by pointing his rifle at her, but the masked ordered him not to, to which he responded to with shock. The mask mentioned her status and gave him no further orders, meaning he was able to talk and finally express his concerns. Later on, he was able to talk with Yuri before going into hibernation mode, a setting the mask sets "defect" angels into. Fortunately, he was saved thanks to Kuon and Nise's help and he was no longer forced to obey the commands of the mask. However, he was suggested to keep the mask on because the suicide command still remains.

So, as a human who is not under the influence of the mask, he seems to be a very intelligent man. He considers his situations carefully and makes his decisions based on what he determines to be best. Once he grows close to someone, he starts to show his concern for them, but overall, he is determined to look cool in whatever he does. Rika Honjo

Rika is Sniper Mask's younger biological brother.

Yuri Honjo

Yuri and Sniper Mask started off as enemies, but they eventually became allies to one another.

Kuon Shinzaki

Sniper Mask acted cold towards Kuon during their first meeting, but he started to show his concern for her as their journey progressed.

He seems to be unaware of Kuon's feelings towards him.

Marksmanship: Sniper Mask is capable of hitting any target even from a 200m distance. He is also skilled in short range combat, killing axe mask in a short battle with his rifle. He can also effectively use ricochet to eliminate any targets. He can easily catch normal bullet and even dodge a sniper bullet as well. It seems like he is using a Mosin-Nagant, which is a 7.62x54mm Russian bolt-action gun with a internal magazine. Faceless mask: After Kuon Shinzaki transferred her powers to him, Sniper Mask has all abilities of the faceless mask.

Rika is a fairly tall young man with long messy black hair. He wears a school uniform, and occasionally seen with his long handled-mallet. In a part of the manga, he also wore ski-formed goggles for protection. Personality

When in battle, his keen eyes and naturally experienced movements give away how dependable he is as a stable character in the manga. However, he only does so, to reunite with his sister.

Rika might be the model for a courageous guy, but he is actually ashamed of his nervousness and supports his sister more as the suitable hero of the Realm, and especially when telling his "girly" name to people and expect the same reactions.

Abilities

He's exceptionally skilled in fighting using a mallet, and also can read the opponent's movements. After becoming Aikawa's apostle, Rika has a great boost in power. He easily catches a bullet from an angry mask which not even aikawa can dodge.

Rika's first appearance was when he was phoned by his sister asking for his help about the world they are trapped in. Rika tells her she's more cool headed and courageous than she really thinks. He then goes on and explains what he knows about the world they're in and mentioning that he will come and locate her from the"really tall tower". However, he soon lost contact with Yuri when her phone was cracked.[1]

In some of Yuri's recollection of the past, Rika was often shown as a brave and knowledgeable brother. Rika taught Yuri about many things, from gun types to being a strong and valiant person. Relationships

Yuri Honjo

Similar to Yuri, he also worries about his sister. He believes that one of the only way for Yuri to survive in the High Rise Realm is for her to leave behind her generosity.

In addition, he was shown to say that he views Yuri as a more suitable main character in the High Rise Realm than himself.

Rika is adopted to Honjo's family, so he and Yuri are not siblings by blood.

Sniper Mask

Also known as Yuka Makoto, Rika Honjo stated that they're brothers that's why they know each other so much.

Appearance

Kuon has waist-length mint-green hair that is styled in a waterfall braid where there is a tuft of hair resembling a ponytail sticking on the back of her head with the tips of her hair transitioning to a shade of peach while she has two medium-length hair pieces that she leaves over her shoulders along with shorter hair strands hanging on either side of her face and yellow-green eyes.

She carries a 3-way satchel bag which is most likely her school backpack. Personality

Kuon is a mysterious, delicate, sweet and innocent in all manner girl who did not have the capability to understand the dangerous world at first sight having adapted to a high social etiquette.

Throughout the travel with her companion the Sniper Mask, she was able show her abilities yet she remained naive and humble nonetheless. At one point, she also seems to have a crush on Sniper Mask, having a whole fantasy inside of her head of her and Sniper Mask getting married despite being seemingly much younger than him.

However, despite being presented as an otherwise pure and timid girl, Kuon exhibits tendencies towards being a pervert as she blushes and reacts excitedly to seeing Mayuko Nise's panties when she jumps over a table, exclaiming "they're striped!" inwardly and she also frequently muses over what Sniper Mask's face looks like and becomes very excited when she regains consciousness while in his lap. This tendency of Kuon's serves as a Running Gag throughout the series.

Kuon is introduced when she approaches Sniper Mask on a rooftop when he is contemplating suicide. She mentions that she had arrived to this World that previous afternoon. Despite her lack of knowledge of the world, Kuon acknowledges that Masks cannot speak. She notes that Sniper Mask smokes the same cigars as her father. Kuon asks Sniper Mask to tell her about this world; however, they are interrupted by the appearance of a man whom Kuon mentions that she had been running from for trying to do "unspeakable things" to her. She attempts to flee from the scene, but is stopped by Sniper Mask who reassures her that there's no need for her to run. Abilities

Mayuko Nise

With her willpower to save Mayuko, Kuon has activated the "Hibernation Suspension Ability" and was able to nullify Mayuko's hibernation. Mayuko is sometimes aggressive towards her, thus Kuon shows some fears over her.

Yuri Honjo

The first God Candidate that Kuon has met in the Realm. They created an alliance with each other along with the Sniper Mask to defeat the creators of the World and to end this World peacefully.

Sniper Mask

The first known person who meets Kuon. At first he treated her condescendingly, only interested in the information and abilities she may have as a "Person Closer to God." As they journey together, he begins to show concern for her.

She finds Sniper Mask intriguing and mysterious, which leads her to develop feelings for him due to his care for her.

Occupation: Mask/at first antagonist/Protagonist

Yayoi is a very sexy smiling mask with pink hair that goes down to her hips with layered bangs covering the right side of her face, without the mask she has dark-pink eyes, full pink lips and her body is well endowed with a curvaceous figure and large breasts, to which her clothing is tight on, showing her curves. Her buttocks are curvy and voluptuous tend to jiggle in her uniform.

She is usually seen in a police officer's attire with huge buttons, she has a whip attached to the side of her belt and a green and white striped band around her left arm.

She is often seen not wearing her mask and holding her tablet to monitor scenes from CCTV. Personality

Yayoi is a lady who is sadistic in nature. As one of Mamoru Aikawa's competent puppets, she is totally subservient to him, but she is also playful and mocking, often making fun of her fellow masks, finding enjoyment off of it, which serves her sadistic nature.

Abilities

Yayoi wields a whip primarily as a weapon to defend herself and to fight against enemies. She is shown to be is proficient in using it, as she can completely sever human skulls with it. [1] Yayoi can stop or catch the bullets aimed at her. Relationships

Mamoru Aikawa

Yayoi is Mamoru's right hand man/executive and one of the strongest Angels in Mamoru's disposal. She has a strong bond with him that's why she's able to be in a prolonged state with her mask taken off and is frequently being in charge as field commander of Mamoru's operations.

Swimmer Mask

Yayoi is frequently seen operating with him as an elite group of Mamoeu's Strong Masks. She has a superior-subordinate relationship with him, acting as his superior.

Kijima

A fellow Angel of the highest position (executives) in Mamoeu's group.

Uzuki Kusakabe

Uzuki is Yayoi's son. He remembered that he was her son when he heard that she had the same family name as him (Kusakabe).

God candidate/antagonist

Mamoru has short curly hair, brown eyes and a stern expression.

He is seen to wear a green fur, almost Arctic, puff coat and regular jeans. Personality

As he witnessed his father's suicide as a young child, for which his father wrote a note to "those who betrayed him" on his business and social ventures, Mamoru grew to despise those who were betrayed, believing them a cancer to society and worthy of suicide. He expounds on this belief to Rika Honjo and anyone who will listen with his doctrine explained thusly: those who earn betrayal earn death. From this he has a great fear of betrayal, going to great lengths to avoid it; he ends up breaking the rules of the organ, for which he is killed by the Administrator.

While dying, he releases Rika completely from his brainwashing, but leaves his Apostle abilities. Though originally seen as an act of kindness, the Adminstrator teases out the truth: Mamoru's legacy would be concreted if even one person realized his doctrine of their own free will. He dies defiant of the organ and sure of his doctrine.

Faceless Mask Ability to Manipulate Masks : It is revealed by Mamoru that he has thirty angels under his control, the most of anyone in the series. Ability to Avoid Attacks Of Angels Ability to Manipulate Angels: Much like with masks, Mamoru's powerful manipulation abilities are shown to extend to several angels, especially around the battle of Sniper Mask and Rika Honjo. Ability to Observe Consciousness: Mamoru has been seen to be cognizant of conscious organisms and has a limited sense for where they are in relation to him. Self-Reinforced Ability: Like many God Candidates, Mamoru can greatly increase his combat attributes, like strength, reaction time, and speed. Ability to Measure Angels' Strength: While mentioned in passing, Mamoru is known to be quite skilled in intuiting the various "levels" of combatants, which serves him well on many occasions. Information on God's Code: Never fully explained, in conjunction with the Prophet, Mamoru has swathes of information on all aspects of the high-rise organ, which leads him to be quite fearful of the Railgun User. Ability to Generate Apostles: As with Rika, Mamoru can make humans into Apostles -- greatly increasing their strength and placing them under deep brainwashing such that they follow every order issued by Mamoru. It is never explained if this works on Masks or Angels.

Baseball Mask wears a base ball player outfit, with high socks, special shoes, a T-shirt and flexible pants. He uses a baseball mitt equipped with cannon balls as projectiles. His cap is adorned with the letters 'BR' and a star. Without the mask he has black short hair and thick black eyebrows and black intense looking eyes.

Personality

Although he's a mask, he still perfectly follows the rules of baseball, even when attacking. His perfect sportsmanship reflects upon his former life, most likely an intense baseball player.

Appears to be suspiciously similar to Yuri Honjo because she was created to combat and destroy Yuri from the original High-Rise Invasion. In spite of the fact that she has a developed, grown-up figure with longer hair, a biker suit, and a pair of biker boots. In addition, she wears a faceless mask constantly. Without the mask she has plumped lips and blown eyes almost the same as yuri Her buttocks are beautiful being plumped and voluptuous with buttock dimples that make a narrow sexy down her crack making the thick flesh plump out more.

Personality

Appears to be very twisted, malicious, and evil compared to Yuri, with her willingness to kill people regardless of whether they're regular humans or masked ones, or have them killed in cruel ways, usually upon non-masked humans, in contrast to Yuri's unwillingness to kill humans no matter what. This is demonstrated when she orders Kawamura, after getting him to wear a smiling mask, to kill Yoshito Mochizuki's sister after the trio tried to confront her and failed, something very uncharacteristic of Yuri. In addition, she seems to sound exactly like Yuri's in terms of her voice, despite appearing grown-up. Abilities

Appears to have the same extent as that of Yuri's, only that she can have firearms appear instantaneously via a "cloud" at her disposal, including the same as that of Yuri's. Yet she is able to summon buildings from the human world into the realm, indicating she is more powerful than Yuri.

Shes the evil clone of Yuri meant to destroy her.

Prior to the start of the story, she appears to have established total control of the realm sometime after the events of High-Rise Invasion and since then, has resumed the transporting of humans into said realm and has put the masked people under her command. All this in contradiction of the fact that Yuri ended the transport for the sake of saving lives, of both the masked and non-masked people (and no indication of whether or not the realm she rules is the same as that Yuri administers). But nevertheless, the killings by the masked people that were thought to have stopped continued, only in that it is more selective and under the condition of inflicting despair before death, of which is part of the woman's plan to create a new universe for unknown reasons, along with taking the form resembling Yuri.

The mask wore a traditional chef's uniform including a toque, double-breasted jacket, and pants. His appearance he’s bald with brown eyes and thin black eyebrows with a vivid mustache.

The Chef Mask speaks in a French accent, he is sadistic even prior to wearing a Mask, intending to behead his victims with his knife.

Abilities

Defective Mask: Despite being a defective mask, the Chef Mask still retained his enhanced physical attributes. Knifemanship Plot

At some time, the Chef Mask took a defective Mask.

After spotting Mayuko, he appeared out of nowhere in the ledge and grabbed Mayuko, taking her into a room. As the two clashes, he threw his bag of decapitated heads as a decoy, giving the opportunity to take on Mayuko. However, Yuri arrives who tied her leg with her top, shooting the Chef Mask. Mayuko takes her chance and continuously slashes him before decapitating him.

Mayu would later take his mask and wear it.

Despite this, she is pretty capable of being discreet, seen when she was able to spy on Yayoi Kusakabe, Swimmer Mask, and Great Angel without them knowing.

China mask is mainly an informant, sent to send informative information to Rikuya Yoshida as she spies on Mamoru Aikawa’s masks, Yayoi Kusakabe, Swimmer Mask, and Great Angel.

Similar to other masks, he aimed to make people kill themselves by jumping off buildings by giving despair. If there wasn't a place were someone could throw themselves of a building he would directly kill a target. Abilities

He wielded a claw glove, but it is not known how proficient he was in using it.

A tall curvy hourglass shaped woman dressed in a casino dealer outfit. She has long dark hair tied in a low ponytail with a white-streaked bang on the left side of her face. Without the mask she is sexy marble like dark indigo eyes long hot eyelashes and a confident grin with medium perfect eyebrows and small cute lips.

Personality

As an Angry Mask, she as limited self-awareness. She regrets her position as a tool used by the Mask and is relieved when she does not have to kill. Due to Rika Honjo's cautious personality she believes him to be a suitable candidate to those Close to Becoming God. She laments at her fate and hopes that Rika may save her. Abilities

She has all the inhuman physical strength and carries a AR/Assault rifle

Plot

When Rika Honjo and Shinji Okihara found a security-locked door, Rika decided not to attempt to open it and urged Shinji to focus on survival. After the two left, Dealer Mask appeared from behind the door of the room she was guarding, seemingly relieved that Rika did not let his curiosity get the better of him. [1]

Dealer Mask came across Yuri Honjo and Mayuko Nise on one of her patrols. She saw that Nise had refused to obey her Suicide Command, a feat that wasn't possible. Yuri begged the Mask to help her save her friend. After being given permission by her Mask to give Yuri information on the Hibernation Command. She made Yuri swear not to tell anyone what she told her and warned that once she wears the mask she'll be battling the other God Candidates for the fate of the realm.

Ein is a Smiling Mask under the control of Kuzuma Aohara.

After his death, his powers were transfered to her making her a God Candidate.

A small girl in a dark pink, frilly lolita attire with dark blue pigtails and big pink ribbon tied above her bangs. She wears a pair of pure white knee-high socks and wields katanas in her hands. Without the mask she has cute thin eyebrows and has blue dark eyes with a constant blush.

Personality

There wasn't much of her emotions displayed in both the manga and the anime, as she is often seen wearing her mask and is immobile unless commanded by her master.

She, however, was seen exposing a personality trait of a child by sneezing carelessly in front of her master, Yuri, and her company. Her playfulness and innocence were also witnessed by her joy of rain and habit of sitting in accident prone railings of the rooftop.

In a scene in the manga, she expresses her longing of her now-deceased friend when she thought of her but was falsely surprised by a different person.

Her speech is limited but she is able to speak. It is either she prefers to remain mute, or has little capacity to speak, or her words are controlled by the mask, though nothing has been confirmed.

The only word she has spoken so far was "Rain!". Abilities

She wields katanas and appears to be proficient in using it. She was able to fight evenly against Mayuko Nise during their fight, along with cutting any surrounding objects in half. After Kuzuma Aohara died, he allowed her to choose her own path and entrusted her with the ability to stop an angel from moving for 1 second.

The Great Angel wears a full black bodysuit with an antennae-like horn on top of his head along with a pair of brown boots. In his unmasked appearance, he wears a brown jacket with black shirt and pants along with his boots. He has spiky hair. He carries a black metal rod as his weapon of choice. Personality

The Great Angel is considered to be one of the rarest kind of masks, most of the time he is shown to be unstable/out of control. The great angel considers himself as "The Complete Warrior of Justice" who purges evil, though his sense of justice is twisted due to the fact that he thinks that everything as objectives to be destroyed.

When his powers are sealed, the Great Angel appears to be cowardly to his superiors and stronger foes. Abilities

The Great Angel seems to have all the capabilities of normal Angels, except they seem to get stronger when he believes he's fighting "evil". He's even been said to have "unlimited power" by one of the Emotionless Masks.

Superhuman Strength: His strikes have proven to be strong enough to destroy walls and sometimes even part of the buildings he's fighting on. He can also quickly climb from a top of a building with minimal effort. The swings of his rod are even powerful enough to exert a friction enough to melt a blade. Superhuman Speed & Reflexes: As seen multiple times, every time he swings his weapon the other metals seem to "melt" due to the speed in which he moves. Even the guardian angels have trouble following the great angel's speed. He is also capable of catching a sniper rifle bullet or dodge a flurry of slashes from Ein. Afterimage Creation: He can conjure afterimages as a decoy whenever he is dodging attacks. Superhuman Durability: Even after getting shot multiple times, he keeps fighting, he even survived the shockwave of a Railgun projectile, which is something no one was ever capable of.

Mamoru's wavelength matched with the Great Angel, allowing him to seize control of the Great Angel. After sealing his powers, he is loyal to his superior.

Yuri Honjo

Yuri took over Mamoru's control to the Great Angel, allowing her to seize control of him.

Plot

The Great Angel has previously encountered Mamoru Aikawa who introduces himself as a "Warrior of Justice". He attempted to attack him but Mamoru managed to seize control of him as their wavelengths match although the Great Angel almost hit him. Mamoru then sealed his powers, becoming an Angel under his service.

After Yuri and her team started on their way to find her brother, Mamoru unleashed his seal, regaining his immense powers. When he stopped on a nearby room to crave for some pizza, Ein suddenly attacked him. However, the Great Angel retaliated by summoning an afterimage. As their weapons cross, his rod destroyed Ein's katana with relative ease. Before he could hit her, Kazuma and Mayuko intervenes. Kazuma uses his powers to stun the Great Angel, giving Ein and Mayuko the time to score a hit.

Despite seemingly have dodged their attacks, the Great Angel suffered wounds from both his right knee and left shoulder. The Great Angel then flings a bullet, hitting Kazuma in the neck. Mayuko and the Great Angel fought, then with a blink of an eye it appeared behind her for a quick swing. Mayuko managed to avoid the attack however, the strength is powerful enough to hit her against a wall, causing a concussion. Yukio then arrives to give Mayuko some time to enact Defragmentation, while in a hallway, the two started their fight again. As both Mayuko and the Great Angel were exhausted, she then jumped off to a window to send a distress signal to Sniper Mask, allowing him to pinpoint the Great Angel's coordinates to Kuon to activate the tower's railgun. Despite taking a direct hit, the Great Angel managed to survive. As he coughs up blood, he then explains to her he used up all of his strength and that his internal organs were badly injured by the shockwave.

Before he could take the opportunity to end a weakened Mayuko, Yuri arrives to save her and knocks him down in the head with her dual handguns. While she attempts to shoot him dead, but it was interrupted by Yukio, who believes that he is fairly young who had never intentionally done evil, thus killing him will be injustice. Conceding defeat at the hands of Yuri, she then used her ability to steal the Great Angel's powers and destroying his connections with Mamoru, shrinking into a small figure.

Yukio deeply cares about his family and has been vengeful after seeing them die in front of him. In spite of his vengeful nature, he shows respect to his allies, to the point of pleading help. He also has a fair sense of justice, thinking that killing the Great Angel is unjustifiable. Plot

Yukio and his family met Kazuma Aohara who summons Ein, easily killing most of his family. Seeking revenge for their deaths, he happened to meet Yuri Honjo and Mayuko Nise who begs to help him avenge his family.

Yukio suffered a near-fatal wound after being stabbed by Ein. After Yuri managed to persuade Kazuma into surrending, he vows to treat Yukio's wounds. Abilities

They engaged in a distanced marksman combat, having the same ability. She has developed an unwanted interest to the male mask, thus her inability to shoot and kill him.

When White Feather and Sniper Masked dueled, she managed to shoot the support of the bridge forcing Sniper to hang from the bridge. As he accepts his death he proceeds to point towards his head, indicating he wanted her to shoot his head to "die a cooll death". This suprises her and ultimately distracts her, allowing Ain to make it in time to save him.

Later, Aikawa scolds her for failing to kill Sniper and questions what distracted. White Feather does not answer but as she thinks she then blushes as she remembers when Sniper Mask pointed to his head. (This indicates her fond interest in Sniper Mask whether its "attraction" or simply impressed by how cool he is)

Kazuma Aohara (青原和真 Aohara Kazuma) was a former antagonist-turned deuteragonist in High-Rise Invasion.

He was a God Candidate who controls the Angels Ain and Zwei. He was initially obsessed with becoming a perfect God, but after being defeated by Yuri Honjo, he becomes her ally.

Kazuma is a tall man with shoulder-length gray hair and green eyes with white glasses on it. He's wearing a blue shirt with a white coat, indigo pants and black shoes Personality

Even though Kazuma initially behaved like a person who only cared about his own interests, after the his defeat he began to change in the other direction, and show himself more like a caring person who cares about his own life. He tried to stop Yukio Tanabe who was trying to get involved in the battle of Ain and Samue mask. According to him, "he will be more suitable as a leader's assistant, because his abilities would not be enough". Prior in entering the realm, Kazuma was once a doctor who has been abused by his higher-up superiors.

Kazuma was first introduced in Chapter 66 (in flashback-ch. 65) as an antagonist. Yuri, Mayu, and Yukio confronted him. Yukio sought revenge after Kazuma ordered Ein to kill his family. After conceding defeat in fears of Yuri who feigns that the railgun was her "powers" (when in truth, it was Kuon Shinzaki's), she ordered Kazuma to cure Yukio, who suffered a serious injury. Medical Expertise: As a former doctor, Kazuma has proficient knowledge in medicine and health. Faceless Mask Ability to Manipulate Masks Stun: He can stun a Mask albeit only lasting for a second. Ein

Kuzuma seems to have a good relationship with Ein, even he has thought about leaving her over everyone else at first. Kazuma and Ein had a father-and-daughter relationship, they both likely care about each other a lot, such as Kuzuma wiping her nose after she sneezed or Ein trying to prevent Great angel's bullet from hitting him.Zwei

Yuri Honjo

Initially, Kazuma was fearful over Yuri's presence as much Yuri was fearful to Sniper Mask firsthand. After they have developed an alliance in stopping Mamoru Aikawa, Kazuma grows an utmost respect to her.

Yukio Tanabe

Kazuma was responsible for the deaths of Yukio's family, causing the latter to seek revenge against him. After he was seriously wounded by Ein, Kazuma used his medical expertise to save his life as per Yuri's demands. Despite being temporary allies, Yukio still holds a grudge against Kazuma.

He is a very loyal aide of Mamoru Aikawa. He's also thoughtful but believes entirely in the ideology of his master. Abilities

Kijima was his second in command. This is reinforced by the fact that Kijima frequently handled the reports from Aikawa's other Angels. Kijima also supported Aikawa's ideas and was trusted greatly by him in return.

Yayoi Kusakabe

She is the other executive of Aikawa's group. She's more of a field commander though, rather than someone who sticks by Aikawa almost all of the time like Kijima.

Maid Mask is one of the masks earlier seen in the story and the first mask crossed by Yuri which is considered stronger and more experienced than the masks she had encountered before. She is dressed in maid attire with the skirt rising up to her thigh, brown short hair and has beautiful brown eyes underneath the mask and wields a sickle with a short handle. Her panties are white laced her buttocks are very massive showing cellulite marks on each cheek even though her young age, she’s also very busty her maid outfit showing her “K cup breasts”

Personality

There wasn't much identified of her true sense. Yuri Honjo was able to destroy the lower half of her mask, resulting to some of her consciousness reverting back, but she couldn't avoid the protocol of suicide once commanded. Having the ability to talk due to her broken mask, she was, however, able to gave her parting line, wishing for Yuri to successfully reunite with her brother, calling Yuri's name as a close friend, and a kind smile depicting her sincere wish for her. She is relatively more experienced, being able to strengthen her limbs to act in innate way, dashing and leaping from one building to another and moving in fast method. Plot

The Maid Mask is first encountered by Yuri from the other side of a building where she inexplicably jumped from a great distance towards her. As she performs one swing with her sickle, Yuri managed to avoid getting a direct hit however it ripped part of his skirt. As the Maid Mask approaches her, Yuri insisted her to wait as she will jump off the building.

Aware that the Mask will first check if their victims actually committed suicide, she then noticed that Yuri actually just jumped off a lower section of the building. At gunpoint, she managed to land a headshot, knocking her out and damaging her Mask in the process. Before she could leave, the Maid Mask stood up, as much as to Yuri's surprise that she is capable of speech. The Maid Mask explains to her that someone is issuing her a "command" to execute it. As her Mask ends up being damaged, the "Suicide Command" commences, where she jumped off a building, lamenting to herself that she can finally have peace.

High Intellect: The President has a meticulous plan into luring both Yuri and Mayuko with the help of his subordinates. He is also aware of the Mask's properties and used a packaging tape to seal its coding, preventing him from being controlled by it. Plot

The President orders his people to lure Yuri into his room. When it was revealed that he was a disguised Mask, Yuri attempted to open fire but she was incapacitated when Tsukino uses a stun gun to knock her down. They were planning in putting the Mask on her as a "guinea pig".

However before they could do so, the Rider Mask appears and kills his men. He was then punched by the Rider Mask, piercing his abdomen and killing him in the process.

As an Angry Mask, she as limited self-awareness. She is very determined but has a rather short way of thinking. Abilities

Miko Mask made her entrance after an order has been given to the Guardian Angels to kill the Person Closest to Being God who appeared in Mamoru Aikawa's group after Rika Honjo has been made his apostle. She attempted to snipe Aikawa with her large-calibre (Barrett M82 .50 cal) sniper rifle but Rika managed to capture the bullet fired from it. She then fought the Great Angel whose seal has been lifted by Yuri Honjo and reached a stalemate before ultimately being relieved by Dealer Mask whose rank is apparently higher than her.

Mizushita according to his superior, has acrophobia thus he has troubles in crossing over suspension bridges and eventually becoming late. After pushing his superior to fall to death, Mizushita has shown to become sadistic and perverted. He is possible a corrupt cop. Equipment

Katana: Mizushita used a katana dropped by a Mask in order to threaten Yuri into sexually assaulting her. Lighter: Mizushita's pouch contains a lighter which Yuri would later use to burn his corpse. Weapon Holster Revolver: Mizushita's weapon of choice is a revolver, which likely resembles the Charter Arms Bulldog.

Nakazaki and Nishiura were best friends who attended the same school together. When Yuri Honjo pushed Nishiura, while under the influence of the mask, off the rooftop. Nakazaki grabbed his friend by the arm attempting to rescue him despite the mask's influence. Until they both fell to their death.

Plot

Shortly after Nishiura was turned into an "Angel" was seen holding a machete following behind Yuri Honjo with the intention of killing her but stopped once she entered into the female toilet and instead made his way back into the breakroom where both Nomura and Nakazaki were waiting. When the mask Nishiura entered the room Nakazaki was surprised by the appearance of his friend while Nomura on the other hand remained calm. Nomura stated that Nishiura was a fool for wearing the mask and not knowing that there was a possibility of something behind the mask. The latter then proceeds to retrieve a gun he found yesterday and pointed it at Nishiura. While Nakazaki remain hesitant, Nomura stated that this was the only way to ascertain their safety and pulled the trigger at Nishiura but ended up missing him as Nishiura dodges the bullet and sprints forward towards Nomura pushing the latter to the ground. Nishiura then approaches Nomura, slashing his body in half with the machete. He then fixate his glance towards the sobbing Nakazaki, he failed to notice Yuri was hiding by the entrance waiting for her opportunity to shoot him. However, she wasn't able to deal a fatal shot as she was hesitant about shooting down a human being and instead she shot Nishiura's right thigh to temporarily incapacitate him and escape together with Nakazaki to the rooftop.

While Nakazaki and Yuri were discussing about turning Nishiura back to normal by removing the mask, Nishiura appeared from behind of Yuri grabbing onto her wrist while she was standing near the ledge by climbing the wall. He was almost ready to slash her but stopped when she shouts that she will jump off the building of her own accordance as in this world the right to jump of the building supersedes everything else. With that she managed to tricked him and in that instance she removes her uniform to escape his loosen grip, turns around and pushes him off the ledge. However, her plan was futile as Nakazaki quickly rushes over to grabs him. In that moment just for a brief second Nishiura's memories of Nakazaki returned but in the end he was still under the influence of the mask as a result he grabs onto Nakazaki's shoulder and pulls him down together. As the both slowly reaching closer towards the ground Nishiura was laughing menacingly.

Nishiura first appeared in front of Yuri Honjo after the girl had just finished crossing over the connecting bridge. A surprised Yuri then aims her gun towards Nishiura, which then prompt the latter to raise both arms to show that he means her no harm. A few seconds later, both Nomura and Nakazaki appeared behind Nishiura content by the fact that they would be able to converse with Yuri as she isn't one of the "masked individuals".

While on watch Nishiura stumbles upon a white cardboard box, when he moved closer to inspect the content of the box he discovered that inside the box contains a smiling mask. He took out the mask to have a closer look, after turning the mask around to inspect the internal exterior of the mask. He found that there were weird lettering on the mask, as he leans in closer to the mask he notes that the letters were actually some sort of information code and as a result he ended up turning into an "Angel" (Individual that wears the smiling mask).

Shortly after turning into an "angel", Nishiura was seen holding a machete following behind Yuri Honjo with the intention of killing her but stopped once she entered into the female toilet and instead made his way back into the breakroom where both Nomura and Nakazaki were waiting. When the mask Nishiura entered the room Nakazaki was surprised by the appearance of his friend while Nomura on the other hand remained calm. For a Junior High School Student Nomura has shown to be an individual that is able to maintain his composure even in the face of extreme uncertainty and danger. In numerous occasion he has proven to be an intellectual person. Prior to his death and meeting Yuri Honjo, Nomura and his friends was able to kill the 'ice pick mask'. As the masked man was dying he stated " If I were God! If I became God! Everything would have went well! ". Because of the ice pick mask last words Nomura had been pondering on the word God.

He first appeared alongside with Nakazaki when Yuri Honjo was aiming a gun at Nishiura. He was seemingly content with the fact that Yuri wasn't one of the 'masked individuals' which makes it easier for him to converse and enquire more information about the current world they reside in.

Swimmer Mask (also referred to as Mr. Swimmer by Yayoi Kusakabe) was a mask controlled by Mamoru Aikawa.

He is a tall and very muscular man. He only wears speedo as his clothing, albeit he also has a swimming goggles and a backpack. Personality

Swimmer Mask is brute and loves violence. He's obedient, though, to his superiors and will only go berserk when he got heated up in battle or being told so. Abilities

Yayoi Kusakabe

She is his direct superior and is frequently seen operating together. This is normal considering that these two are some of Aikawa's Strong Masks. Swimmer takes her very seriously and when he saw that she had seen him go berserk without her order, he immediately ceased his actions and later received scoldings from her.[1]

Mamoru Aikawa

Aikawa is his boss and he's trusted as the key component in many of Aikawa's missions due to his extreme capabilities like strength and agility.

Rika Honjo

Mr. Swimmer is the one who captured and brought him to Aikawa to be taken as hostage.

Shinji Okihara (沖原慎二 Okihara Shinji) is a minor antagonist. He is a God Candidate and a member of Rika Honjo's party that defected to join Juo.

Shinji is a boy with a small stature with short black hair that seems parted underneath his helmet. He is a nice boy but if something needs doing he’ll do it.

A freshman from other school, long hair with bangs tied up, and slightly thick eyebrows. He's first seen located in the rooftop, hovering through the fences while conversing with Rika Honjo through the phone. Personality

Rikuya, from a first observation, is your typical freshman guy who's delicate and pessimistic in nature. He recognizes himself as a weakling that doesn't know anything useful at all, and depends on his manipulated masks to finish the work. Despite this flaw, Rika has acknowledged his help, realizing to himself of his true potential and capability to save others as a "person closer to God". Abilities

Appearance: A large man with short dark hair who wore denim bib overalls. The Axe Mask is introduced looking over a dead body, until turning his attention turns to Yuri Honjo. Yuri fled the mask slowly moving to a rooftop. On the building rooftop when a distracted Yuri was talking on the phone showing no sign of being affected by the despair command, the mask attempted to attack her from behind. Unsuccessful in attacking, he watches her cross a suspension bridge. When Yuri attempts to talk to the mask, he charges towards her, attempting to attack once more. Suddenly, the bridge tilts, causing the mask to fall off the bridge and die upon hitting the ground.

Appearance A man with Short Dark Hair with Pure white coat, Long black pants and Black shoes The Bat Mask is introduced approaching woman. As the woman starts to move around the roof top, the Bat Mask slowly starts following her from behind. When woman the jumps of the rooftop from the gap. The mask watches her fall to the ground and walks away He appeared much time later, having killed an other survivor. He faced Mayuko Nise and managed to overwhelm her. But before he can finish her the Mask is killed by the Sniper Mask using ricochet

Antagonist

Appearance A man with short dark hair with black and white stripe T shirt,black pants and a belt. When Yuri Honjo walks on to the same rooftop as the mask. Upon noticing her he draws his swords and rushes towards her. Attacking her, she steps backwards while he cuts pieces of her hair. When she runs towards the edge of the rooftop the mask prepares his sword. As Yuri tells the mask she'd rather kill herself than be killed, he is then surprised to see her rushing towards him. Aiming for his sword he moves away allowing her to fall onto the ground and then prepares to swing his sword. When a voice asks him to stop, the mask becomes confused. When a police officer asks him to surrender and set the girl free. The mask turns around and charges towards the officer. The officer shoots the mask in the chest. Being shot the mask drops his sword, grabs hold of chest, and starts walking backwards until falling of the rooftop.

Appearance A man with gray stripe Jacket,gray Stripe pants,Black t shirt and also wears a necklace on his neck. Viewing Yuri Honjo walking down a suspension bridge. The Shovel Mask began to start approaching her but is shot in the shoulder. After being shot he rushes towards until he is shot in the face, shattering his mask. While falling of the bridge he starts to regain his consciousness until dying upon hitting the ground

Upon walking past Sniper Mask, he turns around and attempts to attack him from behind.Surprised to see a rifle underneath his arm pointing towards him. When Sniper Mask fires his rifle towards him Fire Axe Mask manages to block the shot using his weapon. Swinging his weapon towards him, the Sniper Mask avoids the attack then hits him with the end of his weapon. After quickly turning his weapon around the Sniper Mask reloads his rifle. Sticking his rifle into the mouth of his mask, shooting and killing him

Appearance The mask is introduced approaching Kohei Yamanami. When he tries running away from the mask he bumps into the Hand Gun Mask and falls on to the floor. As the Hand Gun Mask prepares to shoot Kohei. The mask grabs a hold of his head. When he asks if he can jump off the building, the Hand Gun Mask lowers her weapon while the Cleaver Mask releases him and prepares to watch him jump. When Rika Honjo appears and attacks the Hand Gun Mask. The Cleaver Mask charges towards him only to be shot by Rika using the Hand Gun Mask's weapon

Appearance: A tall woman with large breasts and long hair that reached to her lower back. She wore a buttoned striped jacket over a top. Along with a belt and a striped skirt with buttons. The mask is introduced staring directly at Kohei Yamanami until he fell over backwards. Pulling a gun out of her bag, she pointed it at him. When he asked if he could jump of the building. She lowered her weapon allowing him to do so. As he prepared to jump, looking the opposite direction she noticed something. Suddenly, Rika Honjo appeared and broke her mask with his weapon. Taking her weapon he used it to shoot and kill the Cleaver Mask. When she began to regain her consciousness, she received orders from the mask to kill herself. After telling Rika she must jump, he told her to free herself. Jumping of the building she thanked him and died upon hitting the ground.
