Hierarchy of Defacement! -
Welcome, one and all, to the Hierarchy of Defacement!
In this hierarchical classification system, individuals are categorized into three main classes: Hungers, Hungries, and Observers, alongside a group known as Spirits. At the age of 18, individuals receive their class; failing to do so by 19 results in becoming a Spirit. 'Nos' can select subclasses and undergo training to increase their likeliness of receiving a desired class. Hungries, who exist at a higher hierarchy than Hungers, must consume Hungers for survival, while Observers, Nos, and Spirits do not have such survival needs. Though Spirits lack interaction capabilities, they exist as ghostlike spectators.

Observer / No / Subclasses / Spirit (Outside the hierarchy) ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────── First of all, there's three classes, Hungers, Hungries, or Observers! Or Spirits, who are not necessarily members of any class, and are basically ghostlike spectators. You receive a class at the age of 18, and can happen anytime within that year. Until you receive your class, you are a No. If you refuse to the class you were assigned or you don't receive your class by the age of 19, you are officially a Spirit. However, if you are a No, you can also choose a 'subclass', and pay to receive training for that class to raise the likeliness of receiving your desired class when you are older. Being a Hungry is higher on the hierarchy than being a Hunger, however, has more limitations and requirements. Observers, Nos (and all No subclasses), and Spirits are all not considered part of this hierarchy. Observers are in 'safe' mode, meaning they can simply continue on with their normal, if-this-hierarchy-never-existed lives. How this works is Hungries need to eat Hungers to survive. Hungers cannot be eaten by Hungries, or else they will die. It's as simple as that, predator-prey type stuff. Observers and Nos do not have any survival requirements besides basic human necessities, and Spirits do not require anything at all. The only downside to being a Spirit is that it is physically impossible for you to interact with anything or anyone, and nobody and nothing can hear, see, smell, feel, or taste you. So basically: Hunger (plural = Hungers) Hungry (plural = Hungries) Observer (plural = Observers) No (plural = Nos) Hunger-in-training (a No subclass) Hungry-in-training (a No subclass) Observer-in-training (a No subclass)

~Welcome to the Hierarchy of Defacement! Here, you can be one of our three classes we have to offer; you can be a Hungry, a Hunger, or an Observer! Or of course, if you didn't receive your class yet, a No. But do not worry if you are still a mere No, since you can take paid training subclasses to increase your likeliness of receiving your desired class! Or, of course, you can be a dreaded and forgotten spirit, which typically occurs if you refuse the class you were given, you do not receive a class by the age of 19, or there's a glitch in the system.~
~When you turn 18, sometime within that year, you are likely to receive your class. Hungries need to eat Hungers to survive in this cruel world, but Nos, Observers, and technically Spirits are protected by law. Becoming an Observer is a fortunate event many pray for, since most Observers are typically able to go about with their regular, everyday lives. However, many people dread being a spirit, since in many cultures, being one is considered cowardly or dishonorable.~
~Like I mentioned earlier, Nos can apply for paid training subclasses, and can become either a Hunger-in-training, a Hungry-in-training, or an Observer-in-training, and typically, depending on how long the individual takes their class and how fit they seem for their class, you can also raise the possibility of becoming your desired class by some extent.~
~So... Who would you like to be? Please share the name and class of the character(s) you want to roleplay as, as well as any other information about them you deem important for this roleplay or would simply like to add.~
