The overall shape of the Hideous Mass resembles that of a scorpion. In design, it is almost entirely made up of featureless meat covered in armor that protects it from attacks. There is some armor in the shape of a face, and what appears to be mouths on the ends of its arms. Along with this, it has a head on top of it that appears to be a lion's head, which is most easily seen in its laying form. Hideous Masses primarily have a deep red fleshy, scorpion-like body with eight legs. Their mostly exposed underbelly has a brighter red pulsating stomach section below a solemn stone face that serves as their "head", They have two large arms with lipless mouths (just gums and teeth) in place of their hands. The rest of their body, including their upper body, arms, legs, and tail is covered in a sturdy stone shell split into several segments. The shell that covers their upper body is made of three faces. The first, near their head, is that of a lion, while their backside is covered by a shell composed of two large faces. A multitude of smaller faces appear submerged in the flesh near their tail, which is rather small in comparison to their body. The tail is comprised of four smaller faces that taper off to form a chalice-like appearance, facing in cardinal directions with glowing yellow eyes and bloody mouths. The frontmost mouth has a large metal harpoon sticking out of it, which they can use to impale and pull in their enemies. Hideous Masses are a rare occurrence, when an excessive amount of Hell Mass is poured into a single shell, causing it to overflow and burst at the seams. Due to the broken seams allowing for mobility without having to bend the exterior, the stone has hardened more than the shell of most demons, making it completely impervious to all currently known attacks. Hideous Masses are massive, rivaling a car in size and being weighty enough to be easily heard when moving, their arms are bulky and end in flat stumps where the mouths rest inside where wrists would be, having no hands Hideous Masses are usually seen laying down with their main face hidden behind their folded arms to hide their vulnerable underbelly, the back three sets of legs on the sides of the tail up in the air. Due to just being a mass of Hell-flesh with stone faces and statue pieces it cannot and does not have facial expression of any sort and cannot speak, its mouths in its arms are for vomiting out Hell-mortars at foes and chewing up smaller prey. A Hideous Mass' intelligence is very animalistic in nature even if it contains marginally more problem solving skills then most Lesser demons, emoting near purely through body language with the only noises they make being the groaning of stone and gurgling of flesh stretching and churning as a byproduct of its existence. Hideous Masses are referred to by they/them or it/its pronouns Hideous Masses are solitary creatures and are almost never seen with another, whether this be something like territoriality or simple disinterest is unknown and most other demons, Husks and Machines stay well away from them to avoid confrontation. They have rather sedentary behavior and mostly only roam short distances for organics to eat (Though it will crush machines to drink the blood-fuel they store) Quirks/Extra=They move stiffly with the most flexible part of themself being its tail that often wiggles before shooting out its harpoon. It's unknown if Hideous Masses sleep or just lay around for other reasons like energy conservation or to lure in prey, they do seem to prefer laying where there's sunlight though. They smell like meat and old rock, sulfurous air comes out of the mouths in its bulky arms, they have flat fleshy tongues inside the mouths that are rarely if ever seen.
