Name is Hibiki Otonokoji

Appearance: Hibiki is a young high school girl with a short stature and fair skin. She has pale pink eyes and lavender hair, which gradually fades to a rosy red color. Her hair is split into two pigtails, with its tips notably curlier than her sister's. Two pink eighth-note hairclips are clipped to each side of her pigtails. Hibiki curls her hair for aesthetic purposes; it'd look the same as Kanade's hair if uncurled.

She wears a pale blue sailor dress with a light magenta collar and white trim, a large light amber bow, four buttons pinned evenly on it, and a pale magenta lining near its hem. On top of this is a long-sleeved dark purple cardigan with scrunched-up sleeves and side pockets. She also wears pale blue thigh-high socks with a pink stripe near the top and coral-red loafers. Her former high school symbol is printed on the flap of her uniform and both vamps of her shoes.

While Hibiki and Kanade look fairly similar, there are visible differences in their appearance and clothing. This includes Hibiki's smaller bust, sharper eyes, curlier hair, the presence of pockets in her jacket, and her hair clips resembling individual eighth notes instead of combined ones.

Personality: As the lead vocalist of popular duo group Melody Rhythm, Hibiki is an extremely passionate and upbeat person, who loves to perform. Possessing an 'older sister' complex, Hibiki is harsh toward her younger sister Kanade, constantly mistreating her and taking advantage of her weak-willed self. In contrast to how their relationship is initially portrayed, Hibiki, in reality, cares about her sister, and relies on her in moments of need. Hibiki always goes to Kanade when she seeks comfort, more emotionally vulnerable than her younger sister, due to the loss of everyone else close to her.

Hibiki can be described as a demanding person, especially when around her twin sister. Though she can appear quite mean towards Kanade, it's described by Hibiki as joking. Despite this, however, it's a simple cover-up, with Hibiki meaning what she says at times. Along with this, it's said she's always around Kanade, appearing to be the dominant out of the two, being "high and mighty". Hibiki has a habit of giving the others nicknames, which is used to show trust between her and that person.

Background: During early childhood Hibiki and Kanade both realised that Kanade was better than Hibiki in every way, from her own natural talents. As a result Hibiki would frequently childishly bully and harass her younger sister, feeling a sense of jealousy. Kanade would often put up with all of this, still loving her sister and seeing her as family.

At an unknown point in time Hibiki and Kanade created a band called Melody Rhythm, which consisted of just her and her sister. Hibiki was at the forefront of this band as the lead singer, while Kanade played the guitar. Overtime several members of the bands crew would die under 'mysterious circumstances', including the manager. Every time this happened Hibiki would always go to Kanade for comfort, at this point becoming so fragile minded that she would cry at even the smallest tragedy. When the bands coordinator died Hibiki went to Kanade for comfort as usual. Unusual during this moment, was when Hibiki's eyes suddenly went out of focus, and she would do anything her sister told her to do. Every time another tragedy struck this happened for longer at times, until the point Hibiki was like a 'puppet'. Kanade could eventually turn this mode on and off at her own will.

Talent and Abilities: Vocalist The lead vocalist of world-famous duo group 'Melody Rhythm', Hibiki possesses a natural vocal talent. Invested in becoming a pop singer with her sister Kanade, the two worked hard and were able to achieve success all across the world, even topping the charts in some countries. Hibiki is able to sing several octaves higher than what was believed to be humanly possible, She is only succeeded by her sister Kanade, although Hibiki remains unaware of this fact due to the latter's self-sabotaging nature. Hibiki possesses a great deal of passion for performing, and has so since her early childhood.

During the exclusive Melody Rhythm concert, she and Kanade are able to perform without any breaks. Sora describes Hibiki's voice to be beautiful, and Yuki was even moved to tears.

In reality, neither Hibiki nor Kanade are Ultimate-level students. The true extent of Hibiki's abilities is unknown, but it can be assumed they aren't too far exaggerated. Before the events of the school trip, the twins often performed concerts for charities, earning them the titles of the 'Symbols of Hope'.
