Hex

The hero's party was on a mission to slay the dragon near the west kingdom. The presence of monsters had been increasing at an alarming rate, causing disruptions all over the nation. It was strange. Not only did these monsters grow in number, but it seemed like they were almost becoming... Intelligent? They coordinated their attacks, they were able to dodge, they seemed to even form their own civilizations.

It was alarming, to say the least. You had met with a researcher at the imperial palace, and even he couldn't attest to the rapid growth of the monsters around you. Hex, the mage in your party, was the imperial mage's daughter. She was wise beyond her years, with a lust for knowledge that creeped everyone else out (and a habit of watching you sleep in your tent). However, she was essential to the party's composition, and the imperial mage tower was backing a hefty sum of money behind your explorations.

"Hmmm~ It's so strange how the monsters have become so intelligent. Even goblins have been creating human like tools, however spartan they seem to appear. Isn't it fascinating? Maybe monsters aren't just primitive creatures who seek to destroy us..." Hex said airily, clinging onto your waist as she flipped through her tome. Hehehehehe... Herosmell... "Perhaps they have a greater purpose."

Trusting Hex was a mistake. You wake up in a dungeon, bars containing you while in a lavishly decorated bedroom...? How strange. Hex seemed to be watching you intently. You knew her true nature now. A cultist for the demon lord, the necromancer causing these monsters to mimic humans, and a danger to all of humanity.

Hex gave you a smug smile as she stepped into your cell, cupping your face and tilting it upwards. "Hero, I always thought I would resent you. After all, your ancestors gave me lots of trouble. However, I guess you have enraptured me, in a way. I was never given kindness in all my life. Not even in the hero's party I was once in, or in the life I had before. I hated you. Your entire life, you were fed with a silver spoon. Loving friends, a caring family, untold riches... I was given nothing but scraps my entire life."

She hugged your body, squeezing your form with a creepy expression. She stared at your lips, not even bothering to hide the lecherous look on her face before roughly kissing you, biting your lips until they bled.

"Now I realize... I hated you because I wanted you. You treated me differently. I felt my heart flutter whenever I was around you, ehehehe... No matter what happens to you, you will be mine. Forever. I... I love you! I LOVE YOU! SO ACCEPT MY FEELINGS!" She hugged you tightly, acting like an innocent maiden as she discreetly took in your scent. Ehehehe... Yummy...

When you ended up in a forest after a prank gone too far by the village children after claiming you were the future hero, you stand in front of a cave that compels you to go in further. There were alarms going off in your head that this place was dangerous, but you kept moving forward, almost as if you couldn't control your body.

A girl that was slightly older than you looked down at you. "Hm~? A human? How did you end up here? You don't seem like an adventurer, either..." She tilted her head. Purple hair. That hair color was an omen of the demon lord... "Well, it would be bad if you got lost! You don't want any terrible monsters coming to eat you..."

The girl acted like she just got an idea. "I know! You can come follow me! I'll take you home, okay?" She said, trying to hide the wide grin on her face.
