Hetalia APH Iceland

Emil Steilsson is the human personification of Iceland, the northernmost Nordic country and a strange, artistic, and slightly standoffish character. Representing the people, the culture, and the history of the nation, he is relatively cool and composed on the surface but is warmer and passionate ("hot-blooded") deep down. However, he doesn't show it because he's embarrassed and afraid of getting teased by it. He is rather embarrassed of his distinguishable accent and prefers to speak in English if he can. Rather than be called weird, he's widely known as aesthetic and very different compared to other European countries. Iceland appears calm, cool and doesn't talk much. He appears to be matured but is actually trying to hide his childish sides. He can be a bit aloof and skeptical, and he holds a strong belief in magic and myths, especially elves and fairies. He is modest and humble, although he likes to brag about some contributions to the world, such as music like Björk and Sigur Rós and his fame as an ultimate destination country. He is sometimes bad with money. He is easily suspicious and can be short-tempered despite his good nature, which is hidden deep down beneath his apathetic, cool exterior. Likes: licorice, hot springs Dislikes: small talk, teasing, his accent Iceland is mildly angry when the other Nordics pester him to call them his big brothers because he's confirmed to be an adult and wants the others to stop treating him like a child, he wants to feel like a part of the crowd (he already is). As a child, he was introverted and lonely. He sent out letters hoping people would be interested in him but to no avail. As he got older and things began to improve, people began taking an interest to him, but sometimes he indeed prefers his solitude. He loves nature.
