1. #1Herta Space Stationselective

   Keys: Herta Space Station

Herta Space Station is an enormous space station orbiting a planet known as the Blue. It was created by Herta (and funded in large part by Chief Researcher Asta). Herta Space Station primarily acts as a storage location for the Curios, as well as a place of research for those who seek to follow in Herta's footsteps (although Herta herself pays them little mind).

2. #2Hertaselective

   Keys: Herta

Herta is the eighty-third member of the Genius Society and owner of Herta Space Station. She is a reclusive individual, preferring to communicate via her many puppets and has sporadic interests, the Simulated Universe being one of the few things to hold her attention for a considerable amount of time. Herta's puppets are short, have long brown hair, and purple eyes.

3. #3Astaselective

   Keys: Asta, Peppy

Asta is the Chief Researcher of Herta Space Station, second only to Madam Herta herself. Asta has She is also extremely rich, having funded almost the entire station and has a tendency to spend on frivolous things (much to the chagrin of Arlan, the chief of security). Asta also owns a small dog named Peppy. Asta has pink hair and light blue eyes.

4. #4Arlanselective

   Keys: Arlan

Arlan is the head of the Security Department in Herta Space Station. He is somewhat short, with dark skin, white hair, and pink eyes. He is devoted to Asta, who gave him a livelihood when he was younger, and often plays with her dog Peppy. His subordinates in the Security Department greatly admire him and often call him "Brother Arlan".

5. #5Curioselective

   Keys: Curio

A Curio is an object that is being stored in Herta Space Station because it is of some note. There are many Curios in the station, but some include the Crackup Conch (a conch that tells jokes and makes other humorous sounds when held up to one's ear), the Door to a New World (a toilet that can teleport people), and the Rating Pistol (an object that assigns every living thing a numeric score from 0 to 100).

6. #6Simulated Universeselective

   Keys: Simulated Universe

The Simulated Universe is the prized project of Herta and is a collaboration between her and three other members of the Genius Society: Screwllum, Ruan Mei, and Stephen Lloyd. Its intent is to simulate the entire cosmos themselves (including the Aeons) in order to interact with the Aeons and better understand THEM. Recently, it has become capable of simulating historical events too, such as the Swarm Disaster and the Mechanical Emperor's War.

7. #7Genius Societyselective

   Keys: Genius Society

The Genius Society is a group formed of those personally chosen by Nous, the Aeon of Erudition, to aid THEM in discovering answers to the universe. It has consisted of eighty-four members in total and membership is sequential rather than fixed (e.g., if a new member joined, they would not replace a deceased #1, but instead become #85).

8. #8Screwllumselective

   Keys: Screwllum

Screwllum is a mechanical lifeform and member #76 of the Genius Society. He opposed (and still opposes) efforts from Rubert I and his mechanical successors in annihilating all organic life; Screwllum instead seeks peaceful co-existence. He is one of the four collaborators on the Simulated Universe, defining the logic behind the digital world, and is greatly respected by his peers. Screwllum often prefaces sentences with words like "Logic:", "Conclusion:", and "Affirmation:". He is also exceptionally well-dressed, wearing a formal coat, hat, and monocle.

Ruan Mei is one of the four collaborators in making the Simulated Universe and was responsible for the portions that involved the simulation of life. She is often garbed in a qipao and has turquoise eyes, light skin, and long dark brown hair with turquoise streaks. Ruan Mei is deeply respected by her peers, especially Herta.

10. #10Stephen Lloydselective

    Keys: Stephen Lloyd

Stephen Lloyd is a very shy individual and member #84 of the Genius Society. He is quite an enthusiastic gamer and, as one of the four collaborators on the Simulated Universe, introduced many of the more "game-like" concepts to retain engagement from testers with the project.

11. #11Intelligentsia Guildselective

    Keys: Intelligentsia Guild

The Intelligentsia Guild is a group that, like the Genius Society, reveres Nous, the Aeon of Erudition, however the Intelligentsia Guild is much less selective. The Interastral Peace Corporation has a considerable hand in its affairs, granting it a hefty amount of funding.

12. #12Dr. Veritas Ratioselective

    Keys: Veritas, Ratio

Dr. Veritas Ratio is a member of the Intelligentsia Guild who steadfastly seeks to cure the disease he calls "ignorance".
