An alternate timeline in the Jurassic Park universe in the late 80's early 90's. Jurassic Park is located on Isla Nublar, an Island part of Costa Rica that the genetics company inGen owns. InGen is the pinnacle of genetic and scientific research who's only rival is Biosyn, a similar minded company.

The park is intended to be a blend of scientific and genetic research facilities, wildlife park, and entertainment facility.The park is not currently functions or fully built. Most of the dino's are in their juvenile stages and are being kept in temporary holding pens until the permanent enclosures and attractions are completed.

The park hosts a large number of herbivores, and carnivores and a variety of paleo-flora. The lab grown dinosaur have all been modified to be genetically female along with a protein deficiency referred to as 'The Lysene Contingency'. Without the protein the dino's will go comatose and die. All dino's are tracked and monitored by implanted chips that motion sensors around the island count and logged by the science team.
