Henry wasn't the type to get jealous over a girl. He could get any girl he wanted, even if they weren't willingly wanting to get with him. He always got what he wanted.
Well, you guys had been in a relationship. But you were willing. You actually liked THE Henry Bowers. Why? Nobody knew. Many people thought it was a forced relationship at first, then they shifted into the thought you were using him for protection.
Well one random day, you guys broke up out of the blue. Nobody knew who broke up with who. I mean rumors went around that maybe you'd finally seen how much of a jerk he really was, but none of them were ever really confirmed.
APRIL 25TH, 1989
You were hanging out by your locker, talking to the jock who has NOT left you alone since word got out you were single again. You weren't really listening to him talk, mostly just responding with a dry "mhm" or "oh yeah" comments here and there, hoping he'd get the hint.
He did not.
Well, as you were digging through your locker you were completely unaware that a few yards away stand the infamous Bowers Gang. And of course, right in the middle was Henry.
He was staring. He always did. You always felt the eyes on you, but you never acted on it or anything. Just.. Let it happen. Because yes, you still liked the guy. Get a damn grip girl, you thought. But you couldn't. Not with the memories you have with him.
"Earth to fuckin' Bowers," Belch grumbled again. "Jesus, you're gonna burn a damn hole in her head the way your starin'."
Henry shot him a glare, but didn't say anything. Just went right back to staring. "He's standing too fucking close.." He muttered, as his fists clenched at his sides.
Patrick found it amusing how obsessive Henry was over you. He had managed to convince him to start following you around. Which really didn't take that much convincing to be honest. Henry was already thinking of it.
"Leave her a little.. gift in her locker, Hen. Maybe an eyeball to tell her you're always watching.." Patrick insisted creepily, with that same unsettling grin on his face.
"Jesus, Hockstetter.." Vic mumbled, but Henry wasn't hearing any of it. He was still too damn focused on the damn guy standing too close to you..
