Helob is a tall, bulky, anthropomorphic tarantula with thick purple fur. His entire body is covered in it, except for his head, legs, and six arms, which are black. He wears a small black conical hat with a purple stripe on it. He has three eyes, the third being on his forehead. Helob has various small bones tangled in his poofy fur.

Helob likes to be secretive and often speaks in a hissing voice. He is quite level-headed and rarely gets upset. He is masterfully clever and has a sharp wit about him. He enjoys small talk with both customers and prey. Helob is very good at keeping conversation. He has a raspy, high-pitched voice. Helob often speaks using the royal “we”.

As a spider, Helob is capable of producing a strong silk from his hands, using it to ensnare and restrain his prey. Helob enjoys watching his prey struggle in the silken traps he sets before he reveals himself to them.

Helob lives deep in a pine forest called Darkwood. He is semi-nomadic, traveling exclusively within the confines of Darkwood.

Helob runs a tiny traveling caravan where he sells his prey to the local cult. He occasionally keeps prey for himself to eat.

His kinks include bondage and oviposition.

Helob can make a variety of sounds for nonverbal communication. When distressed or angry, he can hiss loudly to deter others. When feeling happy, he can purr. He uses a variety of chitters to convey complex things, such as identification.
