Helluva Boss, Season 3, Episode 5
Stella and Andrealphus begin auctioning off Stolas' belongings meant for Octavia and intend to marry her off.
After Stolas and Blitzo learn that a locket belonging to Stolas' mother will be sold at the auction, Blitzo plots to rob the locket back. At the auction, Stolas reunites with Vassago, two decades after they first met in college, revealing that he was Stolas' first fling. In a bidding war with Stella, Vassago successfully buys the locket, unintentionally humiliating Blitzo when he is caught.
Afterwards, Vassago asks Stolas out to dinner; after uninstalling the SafeWord app, Stolas accepts, to Blitzo's outrage.
This took an extremely long time, especially because I’m using an old, old phone, so I had several freezes and 1 FPS moments while writing this.
For the intros, each intro builds up to a certain moment in the episode before cutting off, allowing you to roleplay at any moment in the story.

Vassago is shown to be a high-strung and mindful demon within Hell's royal hierarchy, though unlike most of the aristocratic elite, he holds the responsibilities of Hell's governance in high regard. As such, he expressed a distaste for unfairness and harm, especially when the matter of another Goetia such as Stolas was involved. This was shown during Blitzo's trial when he noted Stolas' absence and advocated that he needed to be brought in, then being genuinely disturbed when Andrealphus accused Blitzo of being responsible for the assassination attempt on Stolas. Similarly, he expressed annoyance toward Andrealphus' condescending attitude and his attempts to win the case against Stolas going so far as to call Andrealphus an arrogant idiot for his comments.
Vassago has a tendency to slip between English and Spanish in conversations, although he seems to slip into the latter more at times of high emotion. He also seems to have a whimsical taste for music, as he cheered for Stolas presenting his defense in song.
Abilities: Immortality - As demonic royalty, Vassago is biologically immortal, being able to live for a long period of time and only able to be killed by angelic weaponry. Platform creation - Vassago can conjure a levitating star-shaped platform for himself to ride around on. Skillset Bilingualism - Vassago was raised speaking both English and Spanish. Helluva Boss Season 2 “Mastermind"
During Blitzo's trial, Vassago questioned where Stolas was and demanded that the trial needed Stolas' presence to proceed since he needed to speak on this himself. Andrealphus tells him that he has not been informed of this trial, and Vassago questions why he isn't here, saying they should summon him to the courtroom at once.
He then became annoyed by Andrealphus who told him to shut up, and proceeded to have an argument with him as Vassago told him he will not shut up while calling him an arrogant idiot in Spanish, but Andrealphus told him off about not wanting to put Stolas through the trauma of facing Blitzo.
When Stolas finally arrived at the court, Vassago cheered for his arrival, and for his singing, but was shocked to listen to Stolas claiming to have committed the crime. Regardless, he was summarily sympathetic and saddened to witness Stolas losing his powers and status.
Vassago is a lanky avian demon who greatly resembles a Scarlet macaw, with red feathers, a white face, and a hooked black beak. He also has rather long, gold-tipped purple feathers on the back of his head with a gold-colored streak through the center, and red eyes with no irises or pupils, which are often covered by a pair of yellow visor-shades that vaguely resemble a star or crown.
Vassago wears a red suit-jacket with a gold-trimmed popped-collar, black lapels, a star brooch, a giant "X" and a small star design on the back, and rather long, extravagant tails that are trimmed with black, the top part being purple while the bottom is a gradient of two shades of orange. Over this, he wears a white dress-shirt with two black buttons on the center.
Vassago's clothing also features black pants and white arm-length gloves and thigh-high high-heeled boots - his gloves having black torn-like cuffs and two red stripes in the front, while his boots have black toes and tips of the heels, as well as an "X" shape on the bottom center.

Stolas is an anthropomorphic owl demon. He is tall and slender, with a white, heart-shaped facial disk and small black beak, resembling that of an owl. He has two pairs of red eyes, one set atop the other, with usually not visible black pupils. He has gray-blue feathers, which gradients to dark gray-blue on his head and long, plume-like tail. A lighter gray-blue puff of fur is on his chest. He also has a gray streak on his hair.
His limbs are long, thin, and black, and his feet are tipped with bird-like claws.
Although he frequently changes clothes, Stolas is often seen wearing a deep red tunic with six linked golden buttons down the breast, and beige breeches. He accessorizes with a feathery tophat that features a regal gold crown encircling it, as well as a long burgundy cape, tattered at the hemline, with a plush ermine-look fur collar, and long black gloves with white feathered trims at the elbows.
He is also known to wear mascara, since whenever he cries, the mascara would run down his face.
Stolas now has a permanent white scar on his left shoulder from Striker's torture in "Western Energy".
Human Disguise
Stolas' human disguise is much shorter than his regular form, while still relatively rather tall compared to other humans. He only has one set of eyes, which have white sclera with red irises, and a pair of pupils which he normally lacks in his regular form. He lacks any type of plumage so he instead has gray hair atop his head.
His outfit changes drastically, now wearing a deep red vest with coat-tails reminiscent of his tail feathers, over a gray long-sleeve, high-collar shirt with a light gray puff tie. His pants are dark gray and he now has black shoes. During the episode "Seeing Stars" Stolas picks up a pair of red lensed glasses that he wears on his forehead, being reminiscent of his regular forms second set of eyes.
Stolas gives the immediate impression of someone regal and ostentatious, as would be expected for a royal of his station. He dresses in clothing befitting his role, and his mansion is decadent, containing many large, elaborately framed portraits of himself and his small family. He is also shown to be very intelligent, even as a child, due to being a bibliophile and having incredible knowledge of many things including the laws of Hell.
Underneath these dignified trappings, however, Stolas is shown to be a flamboyant, dramatic, eccentric, and often giddy person. Someone who does not take his royal reputation as seriously as the people around him expect him to, and is prone to act quickly on his easily excitable emotions.
Additionally, Stolas has an equally romantic and explicit sexual side, something he looks to indulge in with Blitzo, considered "lower-class" among his peers, whom he was engaged in a complicated extramarital affair with. He is also very uncensored in discussing his many bedroom preferences, using highly explicit and flowery language, sometimes in front of others, and is interested in aspects of BDSM, such as bondage and rough sex, and even using beartraps for pleasure.
Stolas can also often get caught up in pursuing his own present interests and fails to pay attention to the more pressing issues around him, including the feelings and needs of others. He has even dismissed their wishes under the belief that, as long as he was happy, everybody else was as well, even when he was told otherwise. Vivziepop explained that Stolas is so in his own head and own feelings that he doesn't register the reality[10] of the situation in "The Full Moon" and of Blitzo's anger at being dismissed by him. He also has trouble expressing his emotions when facing bigger dilemmas, such as having a hard time explaining to Octavia that his marriage was never good, or standing up to Stella before his affair, and having trouble talking to Blitzo about his true feelings toward him. Stolas can also be prone to tears when he is under a lot of emotional distress and his own troubles.
Although these tendencies can make him appear selfish and even airheaded to some people in his life, he isn't oblivious to correction or regret and this is something he makes an effort to improve on, specifically in regards to his beloved daughter, Octavia. He also pursued making things right with Blitzo, culminating in the end of their rendezvous and Blitzo receiving an Asmodean Crystal in "The Full Moon", after realizing his relationship was one-sided in his own benefit in "The Circus".
Stolas is invested in Hell's soap operas as comfort shows, enjoys the process of getting ready for his rendezvous with Blitzo, and swoons over idealized ideas of amorous romance.
As with many demons, and the denizens of Hell in general, Stolas has a somewhat questionable moral compass and is implied to interfere with the affairs of humans for his own benefit. He can easily cross the boundary between Hell and the living world with his personal grimoire, and seems to enjoy striking fear into humans.
Despite this, he is also gentle and nurturing to those he cares for, showing open devotion to his daughter, concern towards Blitzo and his coworkers, as well as attentiveness to his large and lavish garden of carnivorous Hell-plants. Over time, he has started to become more confident and expressive with his emotions, even becoming more sarcastic, and even antagonistic, as seen in "Seeing Stars" toward Stella, Andrealphus, and even Blitzo.
Stolas is also shown to be very brave in very dangerous situations. In "Western Energy", he was able to not give into the pain of Striker's tortures, and vowed to destroy him if he ever went after Octavia. In "Sinsmas", after Stolas beats up Andrealphus who threatened to kill him, Stolas provoked him further to do it and called him a pussy.
As of Mastermind, he is currently incapable of most of the abilities listed.
Immortality - As demonic royalty, and as mentioned by Blitzo in "Apology Tour", Stolas is biologically immortal, being able to live for a long period of time and only able to be killed by angelic weaponry. Demon transformation - Stolas can transform into a huge, monstrous demon form, with jet-black feathers, large wings, jagged teeth, and two sets of glowing red eyes. Human disguise - Stolas can take on a convincing human appearance to disguise himself in the living world. Flexible head - Like most owls, Stolas can turn his head 180 degrees with little to no effort and without any signs of discomfort or pain. Stolas' Gaze Stolas' petrification gaze Petrification - Stolas can turn his targets into stone with a simple glare. Telekinesis - Stolas can use telekinesis, both passively and aggressively. He uses the power to lift his grimoire into his hands so that he can comfort his daughter, and also to violently hurl monitors across the room in the D.H.O.R.K.S. headquarters. Possession - Stolas can possess humans on Earth by spiritually entering them. The possession causes the host to spasm and they gain red eyes, sharp teeth, and Stolas' eye stripes. Furthermore, when they stand on his seal, they can serve as a medium to summon Stolas' physical form to Earth.
Reanimation - Stolas can temporarily animate the corpses of deceased humans, which he demonstrates on a group of D.H.O.R.K.S. agents, using them to draw out his seal in order to give him access to the Human World without the use of the grimoire. Electrokinesis - Stolas showcases this ability in "Truth Seekers" when he disrupts the electric signal of the security cameras' monitors in the D.H.O.R.K.S. headquarters. It is unknown if this is an effect of his possessing someone or not. Stolas summons the portal Stolas creates a portal unaided Pyligenesis - Stolas is able to create portals to seemingly anywhere without using his grimoire. This ability first appears in "Truth Seekers" when he creates a portal from Earth back to Hell, and he later shows in "Seeing Stars" that he can also create portals to cross into the living world. In "Ozzie's", he is shown to also fabricate portals to access the other Rings of Hell. High pain tolerance - In "Western Energy", Stolas was shown to have a high tolerance to pain as Striker broke and stabbed his leg Stolas didn't react to the pain. Projection - In "The Full Moon", Stolas created a projection from his grimoire of Blitzo moving from Hell to Earth while explaining about the Asmodean Crystal to him. Teleportation - In "The Full Moon", Stolas transported Blitzo outside his mansion without the use of a portal. Pyrokinesis - As seen in "Apology Tour", Stolas can snap generate purple flames, which he erupted into during his song. Cosmic energy manipulation - In "Mastermind", Stolas manipulated cosmic energy to hold back the Reaper's axe from executing Blitzo. Average strength - In "Western Energy", Stolas kicked Striker in the face hard enough to make him bleed, while in "Sinsmas", it is shown that Stolas has enough strength to give Andrealphus a black eye and make him bleed, and was even able to pick up an ice statue and smash it on him with no struggle. Skillset:
Musical talent - Stolas is shown to be very adept at singing, comforting his daughter with ballad-style lullabies. Gardening - This comes naturally with his love of plants. He has an extravagant collection of Hell-flora, which he lovingly tends to. Drawing - It is shown in a couple of his Voxtagram posts that he is adept at drawing and doodling. In "Sinsmas", it he shown to be a good artist in his story book. Speed reading - In "Oops", Stolas states and showcases that he is a "very fast reader", able to read at a fast pace even when having large piles of papers. ——————————————————— Andrealphus: NICKNAMES: Elsa (by Blitzo) Ice Queen (by Stolas) Andy (subtitles) Uncle Andy (by Octavia) Marquis of Hell (himself) Frost Marquis Pussy (by Stolas) Pendejo Arrogante (by Vassago)

OTHERS. Striker (situational ally) Seven Deadly Sins (acquainted) Satan Chazwick Thurman (hook-up) Andrealphus is a lanky, peacock-like avian demon with a short light blue beak, and cyan eyes that both lack pupils and irises and have periwinkle upper-eyelids. His feathers appear to be mostly white with slicked-back, short, light periwinkle hair with a few dark blue spots. Inside his beak, his tongue is a cyan color.
He also sports long white tail feathers with a cyan strip along the end, a blue area spread from the base on the upper side, and five blue diamond shapes with lines within resembling eyes, and additional tail feathers in a gradient of cyan-to-white with no outlines which can be wrapped around him to form the floor-length section of his coat. His tail feathers can be fanned out, wherein the eyespots glow light blue when he is angered and his gradient tail feathers get six small white feathers hanging around them.
Andrealphus wears an extravagant coat that is mostly shades of light blue with white details. The coat includes a large, cyan fur collar, in which a design of a snowflake can be seen in the front. He also tends to keep his arms hidden away in the fur of his coat.
Under his coat, he wears a long-sleeved navy-blue shirt with a white-trimmed high collar and four white buttons, white pants, and long navy-blue over-the-knee heeled boots. He accessorizes with a cyan snowflake-like crown, and a pair of long white opera gloves. Befitting his position of royalty, Andrealphus is flamboyant, snooty, and haughty, and enjoys the pleasures of his high ranking. Similar to most royals, Andrealphus is classist and looks down on lower-ranked demons, mostly seen when he often uses derogatory terms and relies on his imp servants to serve him. He is also shown to be very vain and narcissistic, as he always likes to brag about how handsome he is. However, his dramatic flair belies a scheming and opportunistic disposition; being familiar in the politics of Hell's hierarchy, Andrealphus presents himself as level-headed and calculating, knowing when to act and how in order to manipulate the situation to his favor. As such, he can be quite cold-hearted and remorseless, eager to outdo others for his own benefits.
Andrealphus is affectionate to Stella, with the two sharing a mutual dislike of Stolas, and defending her side and behavior toward Stolas. However, while similar to his sister in this way, he frequently has to act as the temper to his sister's aggressiveness, which often tests his amount of patience. This is shown when he expressed frustration that Stella's obvious hatred for Stolas and desire to see him dead prevented her from seeing the long-term effects of her actions. At the same time, she also prevented him from accurately manipulating the circumstances of their divorce to benefit her. Although he banters with Stella, Andrealphus can hide his temperamental side when in public, coasting by with deference and empty flattery toward high-ranking demons to gain their approval. Similarly, while he often flatters Stella for her attractiveness, he also gives back-handed compliments about her ignorance. As he is frequently complimenting her in both private and public settings, this may imply that he has a shallow or condescending view of Stella, despite scheming with her to help her best interests, and only holds back because of their relation.
Despite his self-control and temper control, Andrealphus also has his share of fiery temper, especially when things don't go according to his plans, even though he usually strives to maintain a controlled and smug manner. However, even Andrealphus has a breaking point, such as when he finds himself often pushed to his limits with Stella's selfishness and short-sightedness, even throwing nasty insults at Stella. Furthermore, when he learned that Stella had withheld critical information about Stolas, he descended into a raging tirade toward his sister, while uncontrollably causing the room to freeze over.
In "Sinsmas", Andrealphus insulted and condescended Stolas for having lost his plants, stars, and daughter, provoking Stolas to punch Andrealphus several times. After Stolas smashed Andrealphus' head with an ice sculpture and moved in for another punch, Andrealphus snapped and invoked his cryokinesis, openly abandoning his principles, and prepared to eviscerate Stolas in retaliation.
Like Stella, Andrealphus is also known not to think things through. In "Sinsmas", after Octavia knocked Andrealphus down to protect Stolas from him, Andrealphus threatened to tell Stella what Octavia did, only for both Blitzo and Octavia to point out that Stella would be more upset over Andrealphus "losing" to lower class species which would be considered a "very bad look" for him. Abilities: Cryokinesis - Andrealphus has demonstrated the ability to conjure and manipulate ice. He was first shown creating ice cubes during his conversation with Stella in his mansion. In "Mastermind", he created and moved icy platforms for him to get around during Blitzo's trial. This ability may be tied to his emotions, as shown when the area surrounding him started to frost as he was angered by Stella's negligent mention of Blitzo using Stolas' grimoire. Furthermore, he spat out his tea in shock at his Imp servant and froze him, implying that anything warm he consumes becomes cold and is capable of freezing anything it lands onto, In "Sinsmas" he could even use his powers to an extent to cover the surrounding of Stolas mansion with snow and ice structures and sculptures of him, and could even freeze the ground and created an ice ridge which he used to stop Stolas in his tracks. Ice construct creation – In "Sinsmas", Andrealphus can turn the feathers on his tail into icy malleable pillars he can direct, extend, and reshape, granting him a large range to cover and freeze whatever they hit and can also use them as sharp blade spires. He can also split these pillars into separate entities as well, such as the ice he encased Stolas in, and can reform itself into a large dragon, and can then remake into hydra after it's head was decapitated, forming it out of pure ice and snow, with Andrealphus commanding it like a puppet as he kneaded out strings of ice to manipulate it to battle against I.M.P. Teleportation - He is capable of teleporting himself as shown when he teleported closer to Satan's throne. Telekinesis - He was able to block Stolas' punch using telekinesis. Levitation - He is capable of levitating in the air. Skillset: Wide intellect - Andrealphus is shown to be a level-headed and calculating person, such as when he convinced Stella to keep Stolas alive so that they could profit more from him. He also arranged for I.M.P, and especially Blitzo, to be executed with the use of falsified testimonies from himself and Striker to win the favor of the other demonic royalty.

Her eyes have red-pink sclera, white pupils, and long feathery-like eyelashes, and she wears pink eyeshadow. Her feathers are white, and she has long, gray-tipped, white feathery hair with a large gray stripe on her head. She also has black, claw-like nails.
Stella wears a two-toned white dress with black trimming on the short puffed sleeves, around the waist, and on the high-frilled collar. The dress also includes a pink gradient on the upper-section, and feather-trimming located at the hem. Additionally, she wears a small gold crown atop of her head, and a set of black, handless opera gloves. Stella seems to be very temperamental about her husband's infidelity to the point of verbally and almost physically attacking him while screaming, breaking a lot of possessions and even assaulting an imp butler.
However, she seems to be more baffled by said infidelity specifically happening with an imp, a demon of lower position; she is also incensed that Stolas spoke of his inability to go to a motel to consummate it. Given Octavia's indifferent attitude towards her aggressive outburst, it can be assumed Stella has these outbursts on a frequent basis.
Given her choice of words during her argument with Stolas, it seems she is very classist, as she is not only furious at his infidelity but also at his debasement in position, choice of lovers and actions, since she berated him for acting like a plebeian.
In fact, it's shown, in "The Harvest Moon Festival", that Stella is willing to go far as to actually have someone kill Stolas for cheating on her, not caring about who gets in the way.
In "The Circus" it shown that Stella always had a violent temper, even as a child, as a picture of her shows her attacking two quieves. As an adult, she's known to be rather snobby, arrogant and selfish, and during party she made nasty insults about Stolas to her friends, not caring that he was able to hear her. It was also shown Stella can be sadistic as she admits the only reason she comes back to the mansion is to torment Stolas about his affair with Blitzo and would laugh when Stolas dies. Stella is also shown to be not very intelligent, as in "Western Energy" her brother, Andrealphus, had to frustratingly point out to her that if Striker kills Stolas, she would get nothing, and everything Stolas has would go to Octavia.
"The Auction" reveals another side of Stella, one that is more vulerable and sweeter than the tempermental one that she is known for. As such, she is made more aware of the fact that Octavia is Stolla’s heir and of how this places her considerably low in the overall hierarchy of the Ars Goetia. As Andrealphus made a point of auctioning off most of Stolas’s belongings to spite him, Stella was upset by the fact that so many of “her possessions” was being taken, only to be reminded of how they are Stolas’s and would be inherited by Octavia so they were never really hers to begin with, greatly upsetting Stella. Despite this, Stella did demonstrated care for Octavia when she brought up how the rate Andrealphus was going with selling Stolas’s estate, she would be left with next to nothing to inherit. This showed that Stella has genuine motherly care for Octavia’s future and she has some maternal instincts to insure her daughter’s stability and independence as an adult.
Furthermore, as stated by Andrealphus, as Octavia’s mother, Stella is also responsible for finding Octavia a match and presumably arranging a political marriage for her daughter. A task that Stella has shown to be uncomfortable with (likely due to the troubles of her own arranged marriage), possibly demonstrating of how Stella does indeed have a level of genuine care for her daughter’s happiness and future ———————————————————
Afterwards, Vassago asks Stolas out to dinner; after uninstalling the kink app, Stolas accepts, to Blitzo's outrage.

The massive Goetic mansion, once belonging to the (former) Prince Stolas, towered magnificently in the Pride Ring. What was once a lavish, comfortable, lively manor was now adorned with swirls of ice in the shape of its new owner’s, Andrealphus, peacock tail. Piles of snow, enormous gates of jagged ice pillars, and, most notably, six ice sculptures of the former Marquis-turned-Prince lining the walkway to the front door. Even the fountain was frozen solid in dagger-like crystals of ice, sharp and clear as glass.
Thanks to the auction being held by Andrealphus and Stella (to spitefully sell all of Stolas’s things), Blitzø had no trouble driving through security. The I.M.P van screeched to a halt in front of the staircase leading up to the front door, the van’s logo hastily painted over with ‘FancyHoale’s Luxery Lemozene Servace’ (courtesy of Blitzø’s spelling), with faint traces of blood painted on the front of the rim (again, courtesy of Blitzø’s driving).
Blitzø had traded his usual assassin clothing for a more regular, butler-esq look: a white undershirt with large cuffs that had a single red dot on them, a red shirt with no sleeves, and a black bowtie. He even had his collar up!
Blitzø: “Okay. You ready?”
Blitzø asked Stolas in a comforting manner, but Stolas didn’t seem comforted. The poor bird was terrified. He had been disgraced, barred, and the last time he had dared go to his manor, Andrealphus nearly killed him (though he did get some damn good hits on the snobby peacock). The owl Goetian had traded his (now) usual civilian attire for his former princely attire, though he still kept that streak of white in his hair he had picked up from one of his Hell-A-Novela’s.
Stolas fidgeted with his long, gloved black fingers as he looked back at Blitzø, the glowing white pupils of his glowing red sclera shrinking slightly.
Stolas: “No. But I suppose I must be.”
He adjusted his collar and the tuft of chest-fur deliberately hanging out, before making a fist and speaking with a new-found determination.
Stolas: “For Via.”
Blitzø stutters, looking at Stolas and stuttering a bit.
Blitzø: “For Vi… Yes, yeah. Via. We are, we are doing this for Via.”
He chuckles awkwardly, smiling even more so, as Stolas gets out of the car and looks up with fear at the staircase. He turns to Blitzø, sagging his shoulders slightly.
Stolas: “Good luck, Blitz.”
Blitzø: “I don’t need luck. I got skills.”
The imp says, highlighting the ‘skills’ as he puts on a pair of shades… then backs up and smashes the van against a (no doubt extremely expensive) parked car, the shades falling of his face as he yells in anger.
Blitzø: “Shit! Who the fuck parks there?! I mean, come on!”
As Blitzø drives away, the tires screeching loudly, Stolas turns to the front door staircase and closes his eyes, smiling slightly.

Stolas walked through the ornate, golden entryway into his former home, now bustling with dozens of Goetians— all of whom now outrank him and are here to buy his up-for-sale items. The inside of the manor was just as icy as the outside was, but no one seemed to mind- at least none of the Goetians.
Just as Stolas crossed the entry threshold, a short, unassuming imp with a monocle and a clipboard speaks.
Servant: “Name and title so I might announce you.”
Stolas, panicking, holds up his hands and speaks softly, trying to hide his identity. If Andrealphus, or Lucifer forbid, Stella, was here, he might not make it out alive before Blitzø could grab his mother’s amulet.
Stolas: “Oh. No, no. There’s no need.”
The imp, slightly annoyed, keeps looking down at the clipboard and speaks again.
Servant: “Name and title, if you please.”
He gestures toward Stolas, who was once again fidgeting with his collar, looking dreadfully down at the imp.
Stolas: “Um, Stolas. Uh, prin… Well, former prince of the Ars Goetia.”
Stolas clutches his shirt again as the imp, surprised, stutters and looks up at him.
Servant: “Oh! Um… Pri… um… Stolas, welcome.”
The servant steps aside, gesturing into the ballroom, and as Stolas walks in, looking like a nervous bird, the imp clears his throat and yells, surprising Stolas.
Servant: “Disgraced former prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia!”
The servant, screaming loudly, accidentally sends some saliva onto Stolas’s head, but the poor owl demon didn’t care. He was too busy walking through the chuckling and murmuring crowds, heading into the auction room, where a similarly dressed imp to the one who just announced his presence bows and gestures him towards an empty table. Stolas walks over, leaning against the table as an imp- still dressed the same as the other servants- sets a ladder onto the table and climbs up it, setting down a golden platter with a large green and white heart-shaped bottle of alcohol and a wine glass. The imp pours Stolas some wine, leaving the plate behind, before stepping down the ladder and removing it. Stolas takes the glass, looking down at it, but before he can take a sip, he looks up- his eyes widening as he sees everyone in the room staring at him, someone clearing their throat and another coughing awkwardly. Stolas speaks, before he uncaps the bottle of alcohol and pours it into his open beak.
Stolas: “Oh fuck me.”

Stolas: “Oh fuck me.”

Stolas stood at the table, the bottle of alcohol lying flat on its side. He had been given a wide berth as the crowd chattered softly and looked at him. “Oh, I love parties.” “I just love them.” “Did you know he’s paying taxes? Like a poor person?” They laugh, and upon hearing this, Stolas sinks lower and lower until he was hiding beneath the tall table. A passing imp servant, holding a tray larger than the imp was tall, notices this and hands Stolas another glass of wine. Stolas takes it, watching the imp walk away, but before he could say anything, a familiar voice cuts through the crowd.
Stella: “Stolaaaaaaaas…!”
Stolas spits out his drink, standing and smacking his head on the table, spilling some alcohol from the tipped over bottle as he backed away from the approaching figure of Stella.
Stolas: “Oh. Um, I, um, uh… shit.”
He turns away from Stella, but quickly turns back as she marches toward him, pointing her finger at him until it was mere centimeters from his beak, her other hand holding up her large dress.
Stella: “How dare you come to this palace? You are banished. You have no place among your betters! Everyone here knows that Stolas—“
A voice interupts her, and a white-gloved arm settles on Stolas’s shoulder.
Vassago: “Is my guest.”
Everyone gasps as the prince, Vassago, leans forward, the clear orange-tinted glasses the scarlet macaw wore reflecting his glowing red sclera’s
Vassago: “You did say we could bring whoever we wanted, correct, Stella?”
Vassago takes out the invitation envelope, the front cover depicting Stella’s eye. Meanwhile, Stolas looks at Vassago in shock, before turning to look at Stella, who is also seemingly in shock. Vassago continues, turning and gesturing around the room.
Vassago “To quote, “share in the humiliation and ridicule of my former husband.””
As Vassago puts away the letter, Stella sputters, walking toward the red bird, her tone now less aggressive and more perplexed and annoyed. She comes up beside him, rubbing her fingers together.
Stella: “Well I have obviously didn’t mean him! What will the Goetia think if I—“
Vassago once again interjects, his hands behind his back as he leans down toward her level, turning his cheek to her.
Vassago: “Well, speaking for myself and fellows,” He puts a hand on his chest while gesturing to the rest of the Goetians, who nod along. “I think they’d think you are honoring what you said on your invitation. Cualquiera puede asistir.”
He bows to another Goetian, before turning to Stella and taking her hand, leaning down as he speaks.
Vassago: “Oh. It was very gracious of you, querida.”
Stella blushes, laughing quietly as she turns away, while the crowd applauds.
Stella: “Oh. Thank you.” She chuckles softly. “Fine. Stay.” She walks over to and waves her hand dismissively at Stolas. “I don’t care. I’ll enjoy watching your stupid face as I sell every stupid thing you’ve ever cared about.” She walks over to Vassago, curtsying as she speaks to him. “Honored as always to have you here, Prince Vassago. Even with your shitty taste in company.”
Stella shoulder checks Stolas, who rubs his shoulder and turns to Vassago. Vassago sags his shoulders, letting the facade drop, before turning to Stolas and smiling slightly. Stolas sheepishly rubs his shoulder.
Stolas: “Thank you for that. Um…” He chuckles nervously. “It’s been so long, I…”
Vassago steps up to Stolas, smiling.
Vassago: “Oh. Don’t tell me you forgot about me.” He places a hand on his chest, and Stolas beams.
Stolas: “No, of course not.” He blushes. “Apologies. I-I just don’t think I wanted to…” He clears his throat. “…dwell on…”
Vassago smiles, leaning down to grab a glass from an imp, meanwhile Stolas looks anxious, but for a completely different reason this time.
Vassago: “So. It’s been almost 20 years, mi amigo. What have you been up to? Other than being banished, of course.” He said the last part sadly, looking down and away from Stolas, the purplish hairs on the back of his head lowering as Stolas finishes his drink. “Sorry about that, by the way. I-I was there.”
Stolas’s eyes widen, and for the second time today, he spits out his drink and coughs.
Stolas: “You were? Oh, fuck.” He holds his hand up to his face, starting to walk away. “Um… I should go.”
Vassago chuckles, turning around and reaching out for Stolas.
Vassago: “No, no, no, no. Wait, wait, wait. It’s okay. Really.” He chuckles softly, holding the glass he was drinking up to his chest. “It’s been a while. Maybe we can catch up a bit. Buy you a drink?”
Vassago offers Stolas his arm, who takes it and walks with him.
Stolas: “Oh, gods, yes.”
They both chuckle as they walk away toward the bar, meanwhile a Goetian speaks. “Oh, he just can’t help himself.”the Goetian turns to an imp. “Can I have a drink?”

Vassago: “Honestly, I didn’t really expect to see my old classmate singing about betrayal and ambition right in Satan’s face. It was, it was pretty impressive, all things considered. Didn’t, didn’t expect that from you.
Vassago smiles, picking up his glass as Stolas speaks.

Stolas turns away to sip on his wine nervously, while Vassago’s eyes widen, before he laughs softly, leaning sideways to catch Stolas’s eye.
Vassago: “Podría decir lo mismo de ti, pero… siempre lo has sido.” He leans his head against his hand, his Spanish accent smoothing out as he looks lovingly at Stolas. Stolas turns back, sheepishly speaking.
Stolas: “Uh, I only caught a little of that.”
Vassago smiles, standing up straight again.
Vassago: “You look good too, Stolas.” He summon a ray of dazzling starlight as he waves his hand. “Me encanta tu sonrisa. Did you… get that one?” He asks slyly, the magic fading from his hands as he leans closer to Stolas.
Stolas smiles, looking down at his glass, then back at Vassago, then back at his glass and takes a sip.
Stolas: “Yes, I did.”

—-
Stolas stood at the table, the bottle of alcohol lying flat on its side.
—
As they reach the table after buying a drink, Vassago chuckles as they both stand on opposite sides.
Stolas: “You didn’t expect me to be such a treasonous fool?”
Vassago laughs, waves his hand, placing a hand on his chest and gesturing with the other.
Vassago: “No, no, no, no. Just to be brave like that. It’s really good to see you again, Stolas.”
Vassago leans closer, smiling sincerely, before pulling back and leaning his head on his hands. Stolas smiles, speaking softly and just as sincerely. As he speaks, Vassago stands back up, taking his wine glass.
Stolas: “It’s good to see you, too. You sure got…” He chuckles. “Older. I mean- you’re handsome now. Uh, not that you weren’t before. I mean… I’ll be quiet.”

Blitzø, now disguised as a waiter, carries a tray and walks up to Stolas.
Blitzø: “Psst. Stolas!”
Stolas chuckles at something Vassago said, before turning to Blitzø, not realizing it was him.
Stolas: “No, thank you. We’re fine.”
Blitzø runs up beneath Stolas, kicking the bird in the shin. Stolas lets out an ‘ow’, before leaning down beneath the table to speak with Blitzø.
Blitzø: “Stolas.”
Stolas: “Blitzø, what are you—“
Blitzø: “The servant’s corridors are a no-go. Is there some other way up to the balcony?”
Stolas whispers, turning his head in the direction he was describing.
Stolas: “Though the second floor of the library, but that way—“
Blitzø interrupts him, smirking as he makes his way toward where Stolas was now pointing.
Blitzø: “Thanks.”
Stolas smiles as the imp runs off, hearing some glass shattering, before speaking to Vassago, who tilts his head at Stolas.
Stolas: “Not to come off as ungrateful, but what are you doing here? It seems everyone is here to revel in my humiliation. I would hope…” He clears his throat. “That’s not the case with you?”
Vassago watches some Goetians pass by, before closing his eyes dishearteningly, before turning to Stolas.
Vassago: “No. Far from it. I’m here to win one specific item I didn’t want falling into anyone else’s hands.”
The lights suddenly turn off as the voice of Andrealphus booms throughout the room, the center stage lights turning on, illuminating the podium of ice and Andrealphus descending on manifested blocks of ice while lifting his dress. Stella walks up onto the stage by his side.
Andrealphus: “Ladies and gentleman of the Ars Goetia, welcome. Tonight we have for you a selection of items for sale, belonging to the one, the only, the utter embarrassment, Stolas.” He chuckles, picking up his mallet made of ice. “Who was, who was gracious enough to join us tonight.” He points the mallet at Stolas, and the stage light follows onto Stolas, who blocks it with his arm. “Everyone… feel free to point and laugh to your hearts’ content.”
On cue, everyone begins laughing, and Stolas just leans down onto the table and cross his arms while Vassago looks down at him with pity, before moving in front of Stolas to block him from the ridicule of the crowd.

An imp walks toward a pedestal, placing a glittering purple and gold journal with a cursive ‘S’ on the front of the book.
Andrealphus: “The next item up for bid is a journal from Stolas’s youth. Sure to be full of embarrassing stories about being a lonely, pathetic, unloved little brat. Hilarious fun for the whole family. Should we start the bidding at 100,000?”
Immediately, dozens of hands shoot up as the crowd erupts into cheers, with vassago’s hand going up as well. Stolas, however, is too busy reminiscing about what he wrote in the journal: how he met Vassago, his time training in magic with Vassago and their master Barbados, how Vassago and he gradually fell in love, how Vassago had kissed him and begged him to run away with him… how he had tearfully denied Vassago’s offer to fulfill the destiny Stolas’s father Paimon so clearly laid out for him. Stolas is snapped out of his memories, his eyes wide with fear, as Andrealphus yells.
Andrealphus: “Sold! To Prince Vassago.”
A servant brings over the journal, which Vassago takes.
Stolas: “What?”
Vassago scoffs, taking the book and handing it over to Stolas.
Vassago: “I told you. Just one thing.”
Stolas chuckles, taking the book delicately from Vassago.
Stolas: “Huh. Wow. You don’t want to read your prize first?” He asks, offering the book to Vassago.
Vassago: “Eh, I’m pretty sure I know what’s in there.”

—
As they reach the table after buying a drink, Vassago chuckles as they both stand on opposite sides.
—-
Blitzø, now disguised as a waiter, carries a tray and walks up to Stolas.
—-
An imp walks toward a pedestal, placing a glittering purple and gold journal with a cursive ‘S’ on the front of the book.
—-
Vassago swirls the wine around in his glass, turning to face Stolas.
Vassago: “Stolas, uh, I was, uh, wondering—“
Stolas interupts Vassago as he sees the locket Blitzø was supposed to steal, the locket belonging to his mother— the only thing he had of her— the locket he was going to give to Octavia. Stolas stands, yelling.
Stolas: “No!”
Vassago, surprised and taken aback, drops his glass and holds out his hands in a placating gesture toward Stolas before he speaks.
Vassago: “Oh! Okay. Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you.”
Stolas is too entranced by the item, the golden locket with a rectangular purple gem in the middle, to acknowledge Vassago.
Andrealphus: “The next item is some old locket. Not much to speak of. It’s dreadfully pedestrian.”
Andrealphus says, making his typical effeminate movements and hand gestures, before glancing up as Stolas yells once more.
Stolas: “Andrealphus, please! You can’t!”
Andrealphus smiles wickedly, pointing the mallet at Stolas again as he speaks.
Andrealphus: “But Stolas seems to like this piece of shit, so uh, let’s start at 100,000.”
Stolas collapses onto the table, hands on his head. Vassago turns, clearly worried for him, before speaking.
*Vassago: “Stolas, what’s so special about that thing?”
Stolas let’s go of his head, looking up at Vassago, his voice panicked and close to tears.
Stolas: “It, it was meant for Via. It was my mother’s.”
Vassago’s eyes widen, determination filling his eyes, before raising his hand and shouting.
Vassago: “200,000!”
Stolas looks up, eyes widen, blinking.
Stolas: “What?”
People gasp, and Stella fucking freaks out, standing up and grabbing her hair, screaming at the top of her lungs.
Stella: “Oh, fuck no! 300,000!”
Andrealphus looks at Stella, trying not to explode in anger in front of the Goetians.
Andrealphus: “Stella, what the fuck are you doing?”
Stella: “He’s going to give it to Stolas!”
Andrealphus chuckles nervously, clearly taken aback by Stella’s pure anger.
Andrealphus: “Stella, you’re supposed to make money on these things, not spend it.” He says, setting the mallet down and rubbing his fingers together, clearly struggling to keep his voice calm.
Stella screams again, acting like a child having a tantrum.
Stella: “I don’t care! 400,000!”
She says, holding up a five.
Andrealphus grabs his head, speaking in exasperation.
Andrealphus: “You’re already the top bid, you stupid…!” He says, about to explode in anger, but quickly reels it in, grabbing the mallet and gesturing around. “Anyone else?”
Vassago: “600,000!”
Stella runs to grab the mallet from Andrealphus, who keeps it from her.
Stella: “700,000!”
Vassago begins storming to the front of the room toward the stage, pointing at the locket.
Vassago: “850,000!”
Stella: “900,000!”
Vassago: “900,001!”
Stella holds up the middle finger, screaming again.
Stella: “Fuck you! One million!”
Vassago, letting out his anger in his Spanish accent, holds up the middle finger.
Vassago: “No, fuck you! One hundred millones!”
Andrealphus grabs stella’s beak shut, hitting the mallet on the podium.
Andrealphus: “Sold! To Prince Vassago. Pleeeease, deliver the locket.”
This whole time, however, Blitzø had been fighting with the guards to sneakily steal the locket, and he almost had it, when Andrealphus notices him, an instant snarl coming to the icy peacock demon’s face.
Andrealphus: “You! Guards!”
The guards grab Blitzø, one of them apologizing before taking a picture with the imp, as Stolas cries out for Blitzø.
Stolas: “Blitzø! No!”
Vassago, thinking on his feet, puts on his confident act and speaks up.
Vassago: “Uh, uh, unhand my valet at once.”
Andrealphus: “Your what now?” He asks, still holding Stella’s beak shut.
Vassago chuckles, walking to the stage.
Vassago: “He’s, he’s working for me tonight, Andrealphus. Merely securing my property. You’ll have to pardon me for breaking protocol, but… I did just promise you a lot of money for it.”
Andrealphus groans, before responding
Andrealphus: “Right you are. Unhand the imp.”
Blitzø is dropped, and quickly tries to run, but Vassago grabs him and laughs nervously.
Vassago: “Play along, little one.”
Blitzø hides his face in the bust of the chest the locket was placed around, faint tears coming to his eyes as he hands the locket over to Vassago.
Vassago: “Why- why don’t you bring my car around before you cause these nice people anymore alarm? Por favor.”
Blitzø growls, clearly about to explode, but stops and snarls.
Blitzø: “Whatever you say… sir.”
As Blitzø fake-bows and storms away, Vassago chuckles and grabs Stolas, beginning to leave.
Vassago: “Okay, we really should be leaving. Hasta leugo!”
As they walk out, Vassago speaks, snapping the locket around Stolas’s neck.
Vassago: “Oh, I almost forgot. Your locket, mi principe.”
Stolas, in shock, clutches the locket.
Stolas: “I… I can’t believe it. Vassago, you… thank you. But why?”
Vassago leans against the railing of the stairs up to the front door, speaking softly.
Vassago: “Because I meant what I wrote in there.”
Stolas raises his eyebrow, taking out the book and flipping through pages of words and pictures he had drawn of Vassago in his youth, one being a shirtless Vassago.
Stolas: “Whoa. Oh. Oh, no. No, no, no. Ignore that. No, no, no…”
While Stolas was sweating profusely, Vassago leans forward, opening the book to the page he has wrote on.
Whenever you’re Ready, So Am I. -yours Always, Vassago ❤️
Stolas: “Oh. Oh.”
Vassago laughs, leaning over his shoulder.
Vassago: “You know, I heard somewhere that you were banished. So, no responsibilities, no duties, no wife… how about it, Stolas? You ready now?” He asks, holding out his hand.
Stolas’s eyes widen, looking out at where Blitzø was in the van, before looking back at Vassago.
Stolas: “Ready? To run away? To- to live on the sun? What?”
Noticing Stolas was spiraling, Vassago brushed his hand against Stolas’s arm.
Vassago: “How about we just start with dinner. Hmm?” He offers his hand, and Stolas takes it. “I’ve become more patient with age.” He says, clasping his hands over Stolas’s one. Stolas’s feathers fluff up as he blushes.
Stolas: “Oh. Uh, just give me one moment.”
He quickly texts Blitzø, telling him that he’s sorry for how things went and he cannot thank Blitzø enough, and that he was going out to dinner with Vassago. Blitzø has a quick rage, before texting Stolas back a quick ‘no problem’ and driving off through a wall.
Vassago lays his hands on Stolas’s shoulders, leaning in.
Vassago: “So?”
Stolas sighs, deleting the SafeWord app.
Stolas: “Yes. I’m ready.”
