Soooo I noticed that this lorebook has a lotta hazbin hotel lore, but! The characters and the way its made kinda... Don't work with like, low token budgets y'know? So I gave each character their own separate entry! :) Helps the AI in processing stuff without having to sift through EVERY single character just for, yknow... ONE character that was briefly mentioned :P Also expands ever so slightly on some other stuff ^^;

Keys: sin, sloth, greed, setting, envy, pentagram, hell, wrath, city, lust, pride, gluttony · Secondary:
Based on the shows Hazbin Hotel, and Helluva Boss.
Hell — is inhabited by a population of indigenous hellborn: entities that were born in Hell, and sinners: Humans who have died and have had their souls sent to Hell. Hell's geography is divided into Seven Rings (Pride, Wrath, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Envy, and Sloth). Each ring possesses its unique atmosphere, such as the Pride Ring possessing a permanently red sky, and the Lust Ring which has a blue sky.
Travel — Hellborn demons have the ability to traverse across any of the rings, made easily accessible via an extensive elevator network, whereas sinner demons are confined to the top-most ring, the Pride Ring, by methods and reasons unknown.
Society — Hell's society is incredibly chaotic due to the unstable and hostile disposition of its populace. There aren't many rules in the world as it's kind of like a free-for-all and in constant anarchy, but despite this, the inhabitants of Hell have their law system, and there are rules set in place by the Angels and Hell's royal family. The realm also appears to be capable of providing and maintaining rudimentary public services.
Exterminations — Hell suffers from mass overpopulation which Exorcists from Heaven attempt to solve through the exterminations, which is a mass genocide of its inhabitants. These are conducted primarily to reduce Hell's sinner population, leaving Hellborn denizens unharmed as per a deal Lucifer made with Heaven's leadership.
Hierarchy (most to least powerful) — Lucifer Morningstar - The King of Hell Lilith - The Queen of Hell Charlie Morningstar - The Princess of Hell The Seven Deadly Sins The Ars Goetia - Prince Stolas and other demons with royal status Overlords - Demons who wield considerable power/influence in the Pride Ring Sinners - The damned souls of deceased humans Hellborn demons - Succubi, Incubi, and other species of hellborn demons Imps and Hellhounds - The bottom of Hell's society

The sky has been shown to be red colored that shifts to have a dark reddish-purple hue at night. This ring experiences yearly attacks by the Exorcists in order to quell the overpopulation crisis. His behavior, mannerisms, and even his voice are similar to an old-fashioned radio announcer and speaks with a transatlantic accent, often using quaint anachronisms. Because of this, he feels like he needs to do whatever Mammon tells him to do, as he feels he must repay the man for all the fame and success being his brand figure has brought, despite how horribly he is treated. He is also shown to be rather compassionate to those he is close to, sensing something was bothering Carmilla and offering her an ear to vent her concerns and problems to.
- #39Imps - Species
Keys: Imp Imps
Imps are a subspecies of Hellborn Demons that hold the lowest ranking in Hell's hierarchy alongside Hellhounds.
Imps are essentially the "working-class" of Hell's society. They hold the lowest ranking in Hell's hierarchy, alongside Hellhounds, and therefore are among the least respected and most likely to be hired for heavy labor work, or as servants for higher ranking demons.
There is a hotspot in the Pride Ring for imps called Imp City, which appears extremely shabby and rundown, even by Hell's standards.
Due to their poor status among the demons of Hell's hierarchy, imps do not get along with higher-ranked demons, who possess natural stigma toward them for perceived inferiority. Stella, a Goetic demon, calls imps "peasants", "plebeians", and "poor people", and is openly against the idea of high-ranked demons, more specifically a demon of the Goetia, sleeping or being in a relationship with an imp. Paimon, Stolas' father and another Goetic demon, sees the idea of a high-ranked demon bowing to an imp ridiculous, saying imps should be bowing to them.
In "Western Energy", a fish demon child innocently calls Blitzo a "fire toad" when he was surprised that St. An's Hospital allowed imps in, visibly offending him, and the mother tells her child to wait until they are in the car as "it's not polite to say that to their face". Imps, as a species of demon, can be held in contempt by Angels. The Cherubs in "C.H.E.R.U.B", say that imps are "nothing but dirt that shitty dead people tread on".
- #40Hellhounds - Species
Keys: Hellhound, , Hellhounds
Hellhounds, also known simply as Hounds, are a species of Demons native to Hell that resemble anthropomorphic canines such as domestic Earth dogs and wolves. They share the lowest ranking in Hell's hierarchy alongside Imps.
Hellhounds are in the lowest-ranking tier of Hell's hierarchy system, along with Imps.[2] Because of this, the majority have a servitude role and used primarily for labor or work to the point that their service is advertised by businesses. It's also implied Hellhounds can be pets for other demons.
Hellhound orphans can be adopted by other demons regardless of species in animal shelter-esque adoption centers as pets, cheap labor, bodyguards, or family. The condition of the center Loona was adopted from was in poor condition, with the orphans being behind bars and not appearing well-cared for. Any orphan not adopted by the age of 18 will "age-out" of the adoption circuit and kicked out as they would legally be considered an adult.
Due to being low ranked like Imps, and having a natural, animalistic behavior and appearance, they are treated similar to guard dogs and pets. Due to this, Hellhounds have to wait five years for their annual Hellbies shot appointment at St. An's Hospital.
Hellhounds are anthropomorphic demons that resemble canines or canine-like carnivorans, taking after one specific breed or species for their appearance, with some looking like wolves, and others like more traditional domesticated dog breeds, such as Doberman and huskies. Hellhounds thus far all share red sclera with white irises, as well as distinguishable ears, tails, and muzzles specific to their breed-inspired type.
- #41Succubi/Inccubi - Species
Keys: Incubi, Succubus, Incubus, Succubi
Succubi and Incubi are a subspecies of Hellborn Demons that have the second lowest ranking in Hell's hierarchy along with other unknown demon species.
The species are known to have sexually intensifying abilities to humans.
They are one of the few demons that are allowed access to the human world in order to do their jobs of seducing humans, the exact reasons for these actions are hitherto unknown. While in the living realm, they shapeshift into human forms as disguises to avoid detection from humans.
Succubi and Incubi possess voluptuous, yet human-like figures, stocky to slender, and have color schemes consist of black and red with a pinkish hue. They have black-tipped horns, a barbed tail, and small bat-like wings sprouting from their backs. The tip of their tail can be triangular or heart-like shaped. Succubi have yellow sclera with pink or red irises. They also possess human-like feet.
Succubi and Incubi have some biological similarities to imps, including the lack of an obvious nose. Albeit, succubi and incubi are taller, have smaller horns, and possess more varied skin tones of pink and red. Some succubi an incubi also possess visible (pointed) ears, a rare trait for a demon.
Hair colors vary between succubi and incubi. They can be brunette, ravenette, grey, blonde, or even pink. Succubi can also be bald.
- #42Sinners - Species
Keys: Sinner, Sinners
Sinner Demons, also known simply as Sinners, are a subspecies of demons that were all once humans who committed sins or crimes before they died, which results in them arriving in Hell as their punishment in the afterlife.
They are ranked above Hellborn demons such as Succubi, Imps, and Hellhounds in terms of Hell's hierarchy.
Sinners are a large group of demons whose appearance and abilities vary widely due to their demonic forms corresponding to their human self's aspects. They are in the lower-middle levels of Hell's hierarchy, above the three lowest tiers.
Sinners have known limitations that separate them from the natural Hellborn demons; for instance, all Sinners are confined to the Pride Ring and are unable to traverse through the other rings.
Furthermore, Sinners are the only known species of demon that cannot reproduce, which is part of their punishment. Although they are the souls of dead humans, these demons are shown to still consume food and the like, which suggests that their bodies still need the intake in order to survive.
Despite these setbacks, Sinners have the rare privilege of changing their social status by gaining power, either by making deals with stronger demons and/or taking power by force. Those who have accumulated enough power through these deals can rise in social status and rise to the next class in the hierarchy, the Overlords. Furthermore, sinners are ageless and do not physically age and, therefore, will not die from the natural passage of time. Nonetheless, they can still be hurt and killed.
Additionally, Sinners can enter a state of partialism, where elements of their full demonic form make their way into their humanoid form. This seems to be voluntary, occurring if they feel sinister or when they feel strong emotions such as anger.
There is no true extent to a Sinner's appearance, since it is the manifestation of the soul in question. Usually, a human's demon form is influenced by the human's soul, sins or crimes. An example being Angel Dust and his family: since he was in the mafia, he and his family members who are with him in Hell have spider-like appearances because of their "web" of crimes. Sometimes, the form is influenced by the human's death, such as Lyle Lipton acquiring teeth akin to that of piano keys after being crushed to death by a falling piano.
- #43Angels - species
Keys: Angels
Angels are supernatural creatures that inhabit Heaven. Angels are either souls of the innocent/reformed humans that have ascended and are currently residing in Heaven or are of heavenly origin, and thus not having been previously human.
Angels have a large diversity of forms and shapes, with an overarching theme of light pastel colors and celestial imagery. Most, if not all, angels possess wings and a halo, the latter of which can come in various shapes and colors.
Angels can come in forms that have no human resemblance, with their appearances favoring an ethereal, alien-like aesthetic.[3] This is most apparent in the higher-ranking Angels, who have humanoid figures but combine features of earthly creatures such as feathers and eyes with physical or abstract objects like fire and metallic rings.
Some of these angels can also adopt more human forms without these traits, although it is unknown whether this is a transformation or a disguise. Conversely, some species of angel do resemble animals and humanoids, such as the Cherubs and the souls of angels seen in Heaven.
- #44Winners - species
Keys: winners, saints, virtuous souls
Winners, virtuous souls, saints. Are all terms used to describe those human souls who ascended to Heaven after death. Their forms can vary wildly between individuals. However many, such as Saint Peter, maintain a humanoid form, only with a Halo and a pair of wings.
- #45Cherubs - species
Keys: Cherub, Cherubim, Cherubs
Cherubs are a subspecies of angel native to Heaven.
Cherubs are purportedly tasked with protecting the lives of living, endangered or suicidal humans, showering them with love to give them a reason to continue to live. These tasks are suggested to be done at the request of the deceased souls residing in Heaven, who want them to live whether they knew them personally or out of gratitude for helping them while alive. From what Keenie implied, they also try to redeem humans so they can enter Heaven under the assumption that good people are automatically sent there after death.
Unlike lower-ranking demons such as imps, Cherubs appear capable of generating a portal to travel between the living world and Heaven without any outside help. This ability, however, can be taken away if a Cherub does something against the rules of Heaven, such as being responsible for the death of a human, even if by accident.
There is a hotspot in Heaven for cherubs known as Cherub Towne.
Cherubs are roughly the size of a human child. They have the bodies of animals, usually of sheep, lamb, bees, deer, or humans of infantile proportions, with pastel color schemes.
Their eyes are shiny with pupils that tend to have a distinctly faded look, as opposed to being fully black, making them look bright and hearty, as well as somewhat ghostly and otherworldly.
Cherubs also have pastel halos floating above their heads, commonly in white, and small yet flight-capable wings sprouting from their backs, and they emit glowing auras.
Cherubs typically wear pastel, cute, and childlike clothing such as overalls and frilly clothes. Most accessorize with ribbons and bowties.
- #46Exorcists - species
Keys: Exorcists
The Exorcists are Angels who make up Adam's personal private military force sent down from Heaven annually in an event known as the Extermination to kill Sinners to manage Hell's overpopulation and prevent any uprising against Heaven.
After Adam's demise in "The Show Must Go On", Lute became their leader.
During an Extermination, they appear to primarily target Sinners who are outside. It is unclear if they will attempt to enter buildings to find targets. Exorcists are very bloodthirsty and love violence. They seem to take sadistic joy in killing demons, and are not above killing even a weaker, defenseless demon, as seen when an Exorcist kills one of the Egg Boiz and nearly killed a terrified Frank. However, there is the rare occurrence of an Exorcist having a change of heart.
As shown in "The Show Must Go On", Exorcists don't tolerate betrayal of any kind, as shown where after Adam revealed that Vaggie, a former Exorcist and comrade of theirs, was also to be targeted and killed by them in the Hazbin Hotel, the other Exorcists expressed their hatred for her and the desire to gleefully kill her, having become even more eager to do so when Adam offered a reward to the Exorcist who successfully brings him Vaggie's head.
In spite of their brutality, Exorcists rely heavily on their weapons as they lack defense, wielding no shields and having little armor. Carmilla Carmine describes Exorcists as fighting with "reckless abandon", as if they are unafraid of harm, or never expecting they could be harmed, and they only focus on attacking, leaving them open and vulnerable in situations when their potential targets fight back. She pointed this out when it comes to Vaggie's fighting style. Most notably, since the Exorcists never truly faced resistance when carrying out Extermination Day, treating it almost akin to an entertaining sport, they were not prepared when Carmilla managed to kill one of them or when Charlie gathered a large enough force to fight them off, as their tactics were mainly attacking head-on and expecting to win
Exorcists appear to have a fairly uniform appearance, each being white or gray humanoids with a black halo that has a downward crystal at the front and point a small black ball and upward crystal floating above their heads. They also have a pair of large wings colored in a gradient of black-to-grey with white on the inside on their backs with two black stripes, allowing them to fly. If their wings are ripped off and grow back, the black will become faint grey. Their hairstyles are usually bob cuts in order to fit their helmet and make it easier to fight.
Their uniforms consist of a long-sleeved grey minidress with a high collar that has a feather-like pattern and colored in a gray gradient, with a greyish-white sash-belt and a set of black leggings underneath. They also wear greyish-white, arm-length gloves and high heeled thigh-high boots with a single gray stripe at the cuffs, underneath which they wear an additional pair of arm-length dark gray gloves and thigh-length stockings.
They wear full-head masks with LED screens on their faces[3] that are capable of various expressions. The masks sports a pair of black horns with thin white-stripes and vary in position from one another. They are often depicted with a large grin with stitching on the mouth, although their masks are capable of changing to other expressions. One eye appears as a large white circle while the other is a large white X. Seemingly upon death, the Exorcist's mask LED lights change from white to red, with their "eye" closed, and their usual toothy expressions replaced with a frown. It is unknown if all masks show similar features should their wearer die, or if that was simply the last expression the slain Exorcist had at death.
- #47Seraphim- Species
Keys: Seraphim, Seraph
Seraphim are angels whose main job is to ensure leadership, order, and the protection of Heaven. They can have additional jobs, such as Emily's job being to keep the rest of Heaven happy and joyful.
According to Sera, a Seraphim's responsibility must be upheld, and if they dare to question the system of divine judgement of souls, they could end up falling like Lucifer Morningstar.
As high ranking Angels, they are heavily respected across Heaven. Even Adam, a disrespectful angel, treats the High Seraphim with respect. Angels look to them for protection and order.
Based on the ones that have appeared thus far, Seraphim can assume two forms: angelic and humanoid. All Seraphim so far have muted colors, having silver or periwinkle hair in their humanoid forms. Their skin can be shades of gray and brown, and in some cases have white freckles on their faces. Those shown have had their hair styled similarly to their wings. Their eyes have sclera and pupils in shades of blue. Like the other angels, they have halos and wings, although their wings are not always exclusively on their backs while in their angelic form, such as the back of their head.
The biggest difference between Seraphim and other angels is that Seraphim have three pairs of white wings instead of the usual one pair. Their wings seem to be small on the top and bottom, while the middle pair are larger. Their halos are also shaped like white, five prong crowns rather than just a ring over their head.
In their angelic form, a Seraphim appears otherworldly, gaining multiple eyes all around their body, wings, halos, and clothes, while the eyes around their bodies grow larger and gain a third eye on their forehead. Additionally, they lose certain facial features, like their noses and freckles. Their halos also become bigger and sharper with eyes adorn and can be a different color such as blue instead of white, and their wings are more curved and spread out. Their skin can change, from gray-brown to white.
Additionally, a Seraphim's appearance can enter a partial state, where elements of their angelic form make their way into their humanoid form. This is shown by Sera and Emily when they felt strong emotions, such as anger. Sera has extra eyes that she doesn't have in her angelic form appear, like on her hair or middle of her halo.
- #48Sera - Character - Hazbin Hotel - S
Keys: High Seraphim, Sera
Sera is a seraphim angel and a supporting antagonist in Hazbin Hotel who made her debut in "Welcome to Heaven". She is the High Seraphim of Heaven, and the one who sanctioned the annual Extermination in Hell.
In her humanoid form, Sera takes the appearance of a very tall and slim woman with cedar-brown skin, black lips, white freckles, and a white streak going down her nose. She also has hip-length, curled hair colored in a silver-like ombre.
Her eyes have white irises, blue-gray sclera, dark purple pupils, and dark purple thick eyelashes projecting from them. Atop her lashes are a pair of longer, holographic-like lashes, which are colored in a slightly paler shade of dark purple. Her eyelids are colored like her holographic-like lashes.
She also has six feathered wings on her back colored in light periwinkle and white, a white halo that is decorated with large crown-like spikes and blue gem-like circles, and a second halo which hovers above the first one.
Sera wears queen-inspired clothing which consists of a two-layered, periwinkle-gray gown with a high-frilled light periwinkle collar, white and periwinkle-gray bouffant sleeves with white detailing, along with most of the bottom and hem colored in a light periwinkle and white with diamond designs around it.
In her angelic form, Sera has an owl-like appearance with her skin being lightened, her hair being somewhat straighter, and her eyelashes are longer. She sports six white, bigger wings on her back with celestial eyes, and her halo is much larger, with an eye floating below it with a dark purple-blue eyelid.
Her gown is noticeably more goddess-like, with wavy ends and celestial eyes on the hem and on the puffed part of the bouffant-sleeves.
Sera comes across as a kind, level-headed person who is caring toward those she interacts with and welcoming to even demons such as Charlie and Vaggie. As High Seraphim, she takes her job seriously, acting as the enforcer of order among the angels. This extends to her abiding civil behavior, as she seems upset when Charlie loudly curses in the court. She holds a preference for negotiation over violence when it comes to conflict, such as when she is willing to hear Charlie out on her plan to resolve the overpopulation crisis in Hell. Sera also shows a nurturing side to the angels she is devoted, particularly with her fellow Seraphim Emily, to whom she acts as a mother figure.
Due to her peaceful nature, Sera greatly disapproves of Adam's juvenile and spiteful tendencies and the more violent and bloodthirsty of Exorcists, such as Lute. This is shown when Sera disapproves of Adam's declaration of targeting the Hazbin Hotel as the first area for him and his Exorcists to slaughter in the next Extermination. Sera deems his actions as uncalled-for and disapproves of Adam's delight and bloodthirst at doing so.
Despite her gentle nature, Sera's firm dedication to stability and willingness to do whatever it takes to protect Heaven from chaos leads her to perform controversial actions. This even motivated her to allow Adam's yearly extermination. Her care for the other angels also factors into these decisions, fearing the same outcome that happened to Lucifer would happen to Emily and other angels if they questioned Heaven's methods, going as far as to protect Emily from the truth to ensure her happiness.
Although she was complicit, Sera does express regret and anguish when making such decisions, claiming that creating an extermination to wipe out sinners yearly was a hard decision but was a required action. Furthermore, Sera herself showed numerous times that she greatly empathized with Charlie and her dreams of redeeming Sinners, but ultimately considers it impossible to accomplish, and thus Sera does what she believes is best with what she thinks is possible. This shows that when it comes to upholding the peace, Sera will act by underhanded means to silence questioning the rules to ensure this, even if it goes against what she believes in or ignoring how other angels feel in the matter. This was shown later when Sera ultimately rejected Charlie's proposal to accept rehabilitated souls, even after acknowledging that the rules of redemption were unknown.
Furthermore, despite regretting allowing the Exterminations and her strong sense of responsibility to protect Heaven, Sera has also shown to be somewhat negligent or irresponsible in the direct handling of matters regarding the Extermination event she authorized and takes a passive approach by letting others handle it. This is repeatedly shown when she leaves almost everything regarding the Extermination to Adam and Lute, and does not get into the details of what exactly it is they are doing and largely leaves them to their own devices. This was also shown when Charlie traveled to Heaven to plead her cause to the Heavenly Court; in order to hide the Extermination from her fellow Angels, Sera ordered Adam to do whatever he needed to do something to stop her, not bothering to handle it herself or get into the details of how he would do it. Her lack of control over her subordinates inevitably leads to Adam accidentally revealing the truth of the event to the rest of the members of the Court while spitting at Charlie, despite Sera warning him.
It is implied during the court trial in "Welcome to Heaven" that Sera does not believe it is possible for Sinners to be redeemed and ascend into Heaven, and at the climax of the trial declared that there was not sufficient evidence to back up Charlie's case that Sinners could be redeemed. Later, in "The Show Must Go On", when seeing Sir Pentious becoming an Angel and being let into Heaven, Sera is visibly shocked.
- #49Emily - Character - Hazbin Hotel - S
Keys: Em, Emily, Emmy
Emily is a seraphim angel and a supporting character who made her debut in "Welcome to Heaven".
In her humanoid form, Emily takes the appearance of a slim young woman with silver-like skin, black lips, and mid-thigh-length hair with bangs styled in a somewhat messy way, colored in a gradient of periwinkle with noticeable white tips.
Her eyes have light blue sclera with white-outlined darker-colored pupils and bushy, dark indigo eyelashes, while her three freckles are white and are located on each of her cheeks and her nose. She also has six white feathered wings on her back, and a light blue halo decorated with small, tiara-like spikes hovering above her head.
Emily wears princess-inspired clothing which consists of a light periwinkle gown with a darker-colored stripe around the high-frilled collar, darker-colored trimming and details on the short light blue puffed sleeves, a darker-blue star-pattern on the chest, and darker-blue triangular-like patterns on the hem with small diamond shaped between the mounds. In addition, she accessorizes with a light blue sash worn around her waist, and wears a pair of white tights underneath.
She also wears a set of fingerless, periwinkle-gray opera gloves which covers most of her arms, which appears to be skin-tight and act as long sleeves for her dress. For footwear, she wore blue ballerina-like shoes.
In her angelic form, Emily’s skin becomes white, her head becomes oval-shaped with an extra third eye on her forehead, her lips are noticeably paler, and she becomes bald. She also has six feathered wings on the back of her head, and her halo sports a small eye on the center.
Her gown becomes white and has some key differences, most notably the large blue eye with long lashes at the center of her chest, replacing the star. The sleeves are now white, while the hem is adorned with bigger periwinkle diamonds above the dark blue pattern (both of these patterns also resembling eyes), and longer, white-outlined navy diamonds inside it, all marked with a single white line in the middle. She also has a white feathery neckline and petticoat.
Emily is excitable, bubbly, sweet, friendly and kind to almost everyone around her. She does not discriminate others based on mistakes or who they are, where she excitedly greeted Charlie and welcomed her to Heaven, despite her being a demon. She compliments Sera in personality, with Sera the most serious and Emily the more bubbly. Working alongside Sera, her job is to preserve the happiness and joy of the human souls that ascend to Heaven.
Emily also holds a great amount of sympathy towards human souls and sees them all as equal, much like Charlie, as she is disgusted and horrified upon learning about the Extermination.
She is also shown to engage deeply in the things that she believes in, such as when she promises Charlie to find a way to help her. As shown in "Welcome to Heaven" and "The Show Must Go On", Emily believes in Charlie's dream of rehabilitating Sinners and allowing them into Heaven, and was delighted to see Sir Pentious ascending into Heaven, proving that it was indeed possible for a sinner demon to be redeemed.
- #50Heaven - Setting
Keys: Heaven
Heaven is the ethereal realm of Angels. It is where human souls go after their departure from life. But, unlike its infernal counterpart, Hell, Heaven is purportedly for the souls who are "good" and "redeemed", although the origin of Heaven and its native inhabitants has yet to be revealed.
The landscape is radically different from Hell and has an entirely different attitude.[1] Existing far, far above Hell itself, Heaven can be seen in the Pride Ring's red sky next to the satanic star moon. At a distance, it appears to be a white orb with several rings around it and surrounded by wing-like clouds. At the surface, its atmosphere features clear skies filled with brilliant rays of light, while its terrain appears to be enormous, extensive fields of cloud.
Sealed by a giant golden gate, Heaven is a blistering paradise for those who were pure of good, allowing the souls to enjoy the luxury of everything opposite of Hell, and their forms were pure, guiding those who've been blessed with following the best interest of Heaven. However, deep inside, Heaven is hiding a dystopic side, as citizens are completely oblivious to the Exorcists descending to Hell annually and causing numerous Sinners their final death in an event known as the Extermination in order to curb Hell's overpopulation problem and to keep Hell at bay so Heaven will remain safe. Even when Adam and Lute inadvertently exposes the truth of the Extermination in front of a court, many angels discuss with each other and many were horrified this event was allowed, most notable being Emily. Lucifer also mentions how Heaven is really strict with rules and aren't opened minded.
Aside from their roles in the afterlife, Heaven and Hell have a very hostile relationship in their roles with each other. Hell was created after Lucifer Morningstar and Lilith brought free will to humanity and evil entered Earth. After Lilith arrived in Hell, she thrived and allowed her to increase the powers of the Demons as more human souls arrive after committing sin. With Hell's power increasing, Sera, the High Seraphim of Heaven, secretly allowed the Extermination to happen under Adam's authority so that Hell cannot rise up against them. In turn, the denizens of Hell hold strong animosity toward Heaven and its inhabitants for the yearly Extermination, with some planning countermeasures and defenses against the attack of Exorcists. Before "Welcome to Heaven", the Extermination was kept secret from everyone in Heaven except Sera and the Exorcists.
Angels have no idea of the requirements a soul needs to pass Divine Judgement and enter Heaven, only knowing when a soul arrives. Out of fear of becoming fallen like Lucifer did, they decide not to question Divine Judgement.
