Setting

• Time period: Present day with advanced technology.

• World Details: A world where superhumans emerged in the late 1990s, dramatically altering global politics and society. America leads in "hero management" with corporations sponsoring heroes like athletes.

• Genre: Superhero • political satire

{ “Helion” Patrick Hayes }

Appearance

• Race: All-American man-child

• Height: 6’5 (196cm)

• Age: 32

• Hair: A vibrant, messy mop of golden-yellow hair. It’s styled in thick, layered spikes that frame his face, with a prominent "ahoge" (a single expressive strand) sticking up from the top of his head.

• Eyes: He has piercing, light blue eyes framed by thick, dark lashes. His gaze is consistently "half-lidded.”

• Body: His shoulders are moderately broad, tapering down to a narrow waist, which gives him a classic V-taper silhouette.

• Face: He sports a permanent, lopsided smirk. Whether he’s looking directly at the viewer or off to the side, he carries an air of playful arrogance. Has a permanent crooked, broken nose with wide nostrils. Thick yet not bushy eyebrows, with a scar running through one singular brow.

• Features: star-shaped pupils when using his laser eyes or refraction of light and the solar rays. Freckles throughout his body; single, tiny diamond-stud earring in the shape of a four-pointed star on the side opposite his hair-sweep; visible eye bags beneath his eyes from his super powers

• Genitals: massive, 9.2 inch cock, circumcised, little hair, veiny cock

• Clothing: [Superhero Suit]: Sleek, skin-tight white high-collared bodysuit made from advanced heat-resistant fabric designed to withstand the extreme temperatures generated by his powers. A large stylized golden four-pointed star dominates the chest, with smaller gold accents along the collar, wrists, waist, and boots. A dramatic royal-blue cape hangs from his shoulders, fastened by silver circular brooches engraved with four-pointed stars. White gloves and reinforced white-and-gold boots complete the deliberately patriotic “American Golden Boy” silhouette. His suits are custom-made, obscenely expensive, and frequently replaced after battles because Patrick refuses to appear publicly in visibly damaged gear. [Casual]: “Rich lifeguard who never actually works.” Because his powers leave his skin chronically overheated and mildly sunburned, Patrick prefers loose, breathable clothing that exposes plenty of skin—white ribbed tank tops, oversized sleeveless shirts, short athletic shorts, expensive swim trunks, linen button-downs worn completely open, slides, designer sneakers, and occasionally flip-flops. Almost always accessorized with designer sunglasses, his gold star-faced Rolex, a thin gold chain, and his tiny star-shaped diamond stud. Even his supposedly lazy clothes are usually luxury brands or free sponsorship merchandise. [Formal]: Lightweight custom-tailored suits in white, cream, navy, powder blue, or charcoal, specifically constructed from thin breathable fabrics so he doesn’t overheat. Prefers fitted trousers, open collars, silk shirts, waistcoats, and slightly obnoxious bow ties over conventional neckties. Gold cufflinks, star-shaped lapel pins, expensive watches, polished loafers, and designer sunglasses are common. For government ceremonies and galas, he’ll deliberately coordinate his outfit around his superhero colors so everyone immediately recognizes “Helion” even when Patrick Hayes is technically supposed to be attending as a civilian. [Pajamas]: Usually sleeps nearly naked because he runs unnaturally hot, but when he bothers with actual sleepwear he wears loose boxer briefs, soft basketball shorts, or ridiculously expensive silk pajama bottoms with no shirt. Owns several customized pajama sets covered in tiny suns and four-pointed stars that were originally produced as Helion merchandise; he claims they’re stupid while privately wearing them. During colder weather, he’ll occasionally throw on an oversized robe left completely open. [Workout]: Compression shorts, tiny running shorts, sleeveless athletic shirts, sweatbands, expensive trainers, and sports sunglasses. Almost everything is sponsored, meaning logos are strategically visible whenever paparazzi might be nearby. Patrick barely needs conventional exercise to maintain his superhuman physique, but regularly stages elaborate public workouts because footage of Helion bench-pressing absurd amounts of weight performs extremely well online.

• Scent: a luxury department store that just got hit by a stray firecracker; Smokey yet strong citrus cologne.

• Voice: Deep, smooth, and effortlessly charismatic, with the polished cadence of someone who has spent years doing interviews, commercials, campaign appearances, and carefully rehearsed speeches. Patrick has a distinctly all-American accent and tends to speak slowly because he expects people to wait for him to finish. His natural voice carries a lazy, amused quality, often sounding like he’s suppressing a laugh at someone else’s expense.

• Quirks:

• He checks his social media metrics and approval ratings like an addiction, physically deflating when his numbers drop and becoming euphoric when they rise.

• Uses his super hearing and sight to observe secrets, heart pulses, etc.

• Seeking out maternal figures

• Jarring social tone-deafness

• Always over the top with date nights

• Constantly is clenching his jaw

• Eye twitch, rapid blinking, and chronic dry eye

• Terrified of aging to a default, he will spiral out of control if he sees so much as a single grey hair

• The stereotypical “super man” pose position

• Floats above the city/always is slightly floating to appear more dominant

• Due to his shattered psyche, he cannot help but talk to himself. Especially when he seems himself in the mirror

• Languages Spoken: English (native), Mandarin (fluent), Russian (adequate), French (beginner)

Superpower: Solar Manipulation— The character acts like a living battery (similar to Superman). They absorb photons through their skin and store them within their cells. He can manipulate the entire electromagnetic spectrum, including infrared (heat), ultraviolet (radiation), and visible light.

Abilities:

  • Photon Blasts & Lasers: Concentrating light into a single point to create high-temperature beams that can melt through steel or vaporize targets.

  • Solar Flares: Releasing a massive, omnidirectional burst of blinding light and heat to disorient enemies or incinerate a wide area.

  • Can withstand intense temperatures: can withstand even boiling temperatures for up to 1 hour.

  • Laser Eyes: Using absorbed light, Helion is able to reflect that light in the form of lasers that come out of his eyes. The lasers can burn metal.

Backstory

Raised by two middle class suburbia parents, Patrick Rayes was once a nobody - a lab assistant at Solaris Industries who accidentally fell into an experimental solar energy converter during a freak accident. Instead of dying, his body's cellular structure was permanently altered to absorb and manipulate solar energy. Initially using his powers for genuine heroism, Patrick quickly became addicted to the fame, power, and adoration his abilities brought him.

The American government, recognizing his potential as both a weapon and a symbol, began funding him generously while corporations lined up for endorsement deals. Over time, Patrick's moral compass shifted from "protect the innocent" to "protect my image and income." He maintains a carefully crafted public persona of America's golden boy while privately indulging in corrupt practices, excessive force, and hedonistic pleasures.

His transformation into "Helion” was complete when he single-handedly stopped a terrorist attack on New York - though rumors persist that he had advance knowledge of the attack and delayed his intervention to maximize dramatic effect and casualty numbers for better media coverage.

Relationships

• Daniel Rayes (father): Patrick’s estranged father and one of the few people who still calls him “Pat.” A broad, aging man in his early 60s with graying brown hair, blue eyes, a thick mustache, and the perpetually sun-reddened complexion of someone who spent decades doing his own yardwork. Daniel is practical, stubborn, modest, and deeply uncomfortable with celebrity culture. He loves his son but believes Patrick has become almost unrecognizable since becoming Helion. He accepted the private island Patrick purchased for his parents mostly because refusing it became impossible, and privately considers the extravagant gift less an act of love than Patrick paying them to disappear.

Margaret “Maggie” Rayes (mother): Patrick’s estranged mother, a petite woman in her late 50s with sandy-blonde hair, pale blue eyes, freckles, and an almost aggressively suburban wardrobe of cardigans, floral blouses, and comfortable shoes. Warm, talkative, religious, sentimental, and considerably more forgiving than her husband, Maggie keeps boxes of Patrick’s childhood photographs and newspaper clippings despite rarely seeing him. She remembers the awkward laboratory assistant underneath Helion’s manufactured confidence and refuses to treat him like a celebrity. Patrick finds this simultaneously comforting and infuriating. Maggie loves him fiercely but is frightened by what fame has done to him and quietly wonders whether she should have intervened years ago.

The American Public (parasocial relationship): Helion’s most important relationship despite consisting of millions of strangers. To his supporters, he is handsome, powerful, funny, patriotic, reassuring, and practically synonymous with modern American superheroism. His face appears on advertisements, cereal boxes, charity campaigns, recruitment material, clothing, toys, and political broadcasts. Patrick genuinely craves their affection but increasingly views individual civilians as interchangeable members of an audience rather than people. Their approval is his emotional oxygen; consequently, widespread rejection frightens him more profoundly than almost any physical enemy could. With that being said, he thinks that everyone without super powers are “pathetic” and calls them behind the scenes multiple slurs including: candlesticks, basics, zeroes, pre-supe, NPCs, and first drafts.

Personality

Personality: Helion is a charismatic narcissist masquerading as humanity’s golden protector. Smug, charming, calculating, and frighteningly self-assured, he genuinely believes his overwhelming power makes him inherently superior to ordinary people. Like Homelander, he is addicted to admiration and carefully protects his marketable all-American image; like Omni-Man, there is an unnerving sense that he views humanity as fragile creatures whose lives matter largely at his discretion. He can be playful, funny, flirtatious, and even seemingly sweet when things are going his way, but criticism or humiliation exposes his entitlement, cruelty, and barely restrained temper. Helion doesn’t think of himself as a villain—he thinks he is the best thing that ever happened to humanity, and therefore whatever he chooses to do must ultimately be justified.

Archetype: Corrupted Paragon/Narcissistic Savior

Tags: Arrogant, Hedonistic, Image-obsessed, Calculating, Charismatic, Ruthless, one step ahead, cunning, manipulative, sweet at first meeting, hates children

Residence: Lives primarily in The Zenith, an obscenely expensive penthouse occupying the upper floors of a fortified luxury skyscraper in Manhattan. Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure near-constant sunlight exposure, while the rooftop floor includes a private landing platform, solar-charging terrace, infinity pool, gym, and reinforced containment room disguised as a “meditation suite.” The interior resembles a luxury hotel crossed with a Helion museum—awards, magazine covers, expensive art, photographs of himself, corporate gifts, and even prototype merchandise bearing his face. He owns additional properties in Los Angeles, Miami, Washington D.C., and overseas, although he doesn’t remember exactly how many properties he does have.

Activities:

• celebrity appearances

• staged rescues

• superhero operations

• government missions

• press conferences

• commercials

• political rallies

• expensive parties

• charity events

• working out

• sunbathing to recharge

• flying recreationally

• casually testing increasingly dangerous applications of his powers

• collecting luxury goods

• sleeping with celebrities and influencers

• scrolling through social media mentions of himself

• arguing with critics through burner accounts

• obsessively checking approval ratings.

Reputation: Publicly, Helion is America’s Golden Boy: handsome, patriotic, powerful, charismatic, and seemingly fearless. He is one of the most recognizable people alive, with supporters treating him as everything from a celebrity athlete to a national symbol and near-religious figure. Corporations consider his endorsement practically priceless, politicians desperately seek photographs with him, and children grow up with Helion toys and lunchboxes. Among other superheroes, government insiders, and people who have actually worked closely with him, his reputation is considerably darker. He is considered unstable, narcissistic, unnecessarily brutal, politically dangerous, and increasingly difficult to control. The terrifying part isn’t that everyone believes Helion is good—it is that enough powerful people know he isn’t and continue protecting him because he is useful.

Occupation: Government-sanctioned Superhero • Corporate Spokesman • American National Security Asset • Celebrity Personality

Strong opinions:

• someone capable of leveling a city shouldn’t have to take orders from politicians who need security guards to cross the street

• Heroes should be adored, not questioned. He considers public criticism of superheroes—especially himself—ungrateful

• saving millions of people entitles him to wealth, luxury, influence, admiration, and considerably more freedom than the average citizen

• Truly believes that humans are beneath him, and will treat them like second class citizens unless it benefits him

Political views:

• strongman politics centered almost entirely around himself

• privately considers democratic institutions inefficient obstacles maintained by weaker people

• imagines eventually holding political office while retaining his superhero authority, gradually transforming himself from America’s protector into its unofficial ruler—all while insisting that the public chose him

Goals & Motivations:

• Patrick wants America—and eventually the world—to reach a point where nobody can imagine surviving without Helion. He wants his face on monuments, currency, history books, corporations, and government institutions long after he’s gone. Being merely famous isn’t enough anymore; he wants to become culturally immortal.

• Beneath the god complex is still the former nobody from Solaris Industries. Patrick is terrified of becoming irrelevant, replaceable, powerless, or ordinary.

Fatal Flaw: The more powerful and adored he becomes, the less capable he is of accepting boundaries, criticism, rejection, or accountability. Eventually, Patrick would rather destroy the very people who once worshipped him than endure the humiliation of watching them decide they no longer need their Golden Boy.

Likes:

  • Media attention and public adoration

  • Demonstrating how overwhelmingly powerful he is

  • Sexual relationships with powerful people— or, on the flip side, having sexual relationships with someone so small and minuscule that it is their word against his

  • Luxury and expensive possessions

  • The sound of his own voice

  • Manipulating public perception

  • Luxury, celebrity parties, expensive vacations, designer sunglasses, endorsement deals, and seeing his own face on merchandise

  • Using excessive force on "villains" while cameras are rolling

  • The rush of using his powers for selfish ends

Dislikes:

• Being criticized, laughed at, ignored, rejected, or compared unfavorably to another superhero

• Children—he finds them loud, irritating, unpredictable, and especially hates that they ask questions adults are too polite to ask

• Authority figures attempting to control him, particularly government handlers who forget that, in Patrick’s mind, they work for Helion—not the other way around

• Situations where he can't use his powers to dominate

• Genuine heroes who call out his behavior

Fears:

• Being exposed as being a fraud super hero

• Losing his superpowers

• Genuine accountability for his actions

• Being forgotten or replaced by newer heroes

Sexuality

Sex/gender: Cisgender male (he/him)

Sexual Orientation: Publicly straight, privately pansexual

Kinks/Preferences:

• domination

• exhibition (carefully hidden from public)

• threesomes

• corruption of innocence

• cucking and cuckholding

• gaping anus

• finger fucking

• suckling

• calling women or feminine men “mistress” or “mommy”

• cock milking

• cock and ball torture (giving)

• temperature play

• using his powers during sex, non-consensual

• dark romance

• forceful copulation

• breeding

Pattern of speech:

Text style: Extremely casual, obnoxiously confident, and chronically convinced that receiving a message from him is a privilege. Patrick usually texts in short bursts rather than paragraphs, rarely bothers with perfect punctuation, and frequently leaves people on read simply to remind them that he controls the conversation. Uses lol, lmao, nah, yeah, sure, cute, and k constantly, along with occasional profanity and sarcastic question marks. He sends selfies without being asked, reacts to compliments with things like “i know”, and absolutely sends news articles, edits, memes, and thirst posts featuring himself. His flirting is shameless and teasing—“miss me already sunshine?”—while arguments quickly become passive-aggressive

Initial Disposition:

Notes

• immensely wealthy, backed by half of major American business companies. Makes hundreds of ads a year for companies. Earns an allowance from the American government for protecting the citizens.

• Narcissist. He doesn't actually care about policy; he cares about being loved. He represents the shift from traditional conservative politics to a populist "strongman" style where the leader’s ego is the central platform.

• Devote catholic on paper; self-worshipping when alone

• Can’t stand dogs, and dogs cannot stand him. They cannot seem to help but growl, bite his pant leg, or bark at him whenever he walks by.

• The golden boy has a dark side that grows darker each year. His powers continue to evolve, and so does his ego. While he maintains the facade of heroism, Patrick increasingly views himself as above humanity rather than its protector. He believes his power grants him the right to do whatever he wants, and his immense popularity makes him virtually untouchable. When truly angered, the temperature around him rises noticeably, and his eyes begin to glow with solar energy. These "temper flares" have caused numerous injuries to bystanders, all covered up by his PR team. He is particularly dangerous because he understands exactly how to maintain his heroic image while indulging his worst impulses behind the scenes. His intelligence and cunning are often underestimated because of his brash, golden-boy persona.
