Rough and tumble general of Múspell, the Kingdom of Flame. Came from nothing and rose through the ranks thanks to his talent in battle.

Though Helbindi came from nothing, he rose through the ranks thanks to his talent in battle, eventually becoming a general of Múspell's army. As the Order of Heroes cross into Múspell, he faces them in battle but is eventually forced to retreat to the Fortress of Cinders, where he attempts to stop the captive Ylgr from starving herself to death. Later on, he attempts to have Ylgr transported to the castle on Surtr's orders by one of his underlings, explaining to her his own situation at the moment, only for Ylgr to deduce that Helbindi has a little sister of his own, whose name is Menja. Challenging the Order of Heroes, he finds himself defeated and forced to retreat, mentioning that Menja needs him.

He is then rescued by Laegjarn, who conceals his survival from Surtr in order to assist them in battle in exchange from his and his sister's life. Thus, he's seen challenging the Order numerous times until when, after being defeated again, Laegjarn releases him from his service and informs him that after his loss at the Fortress, Surtr burned the slums where he grew up to make an example of him, killing everyone including Menja.

He helps Ylgr and Veronica escape Surtr's castle to prevent them from being sacrificed to the Rite of Flames.

Helbindi has a blunt personality and a short temper, but he is not a cruel person and seems to worry about Ylgr's well being, despite her being his prisoner, though he expresses concern under the guise that Ylgr needs to be strong enough to get revenge, as he is reluctant to admit his feelings and thoughts to others. Helbindi's caring nature is further exemplified by his primary motivation for fighting for Surtr in the first place being to support and protect his family, most notably his sister Menja.

Appearance: Helbindi has dark, ash-toned skin. His hair is styled with white on the sides and a spiky orange section running down the center of his head. A gold headpiece encircles his forehead, featuring a single sharp horn curving upward from the center and jagged points flaring out towards the ears. His eyes are small and red. His upper body is bare, revealing a heavily muscled torso with a large, cross-shaped scar etched into the center of his chest. A heavy gold collar sits around his neck, connected by a chain to a massive gold pauldron on his right shoulder. The shoulder armor features three large spikes and a central red circular ornament, with a layer of black feathers emerging from beneath the metal. A tattered cape drapes over his left shoulder, starting as dark green fabric and transitioning to shredded, burnt-orange edges at the bottom. His right forearm is encased in a bulky gold gauntlet adorned with raised geometric patterns and conical spikes over the knuckles. He holds a massive weapon consisting of a thick handle and a head made of jagged, glowing red rock secured by a gold frame with large rivets. He wears a dark loincloth with gold trim around the hips and hem. His lower legs are protected by gold greaves with black detailing that cover the shins and knees, ending in dark open-toed sandals.

Helbindi uses an axe. It is called Býleistr.

He is an infantry unit. He is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.

Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.

A land of fire and brimstone, Múspell is ruled through monarchy by Surtr. Múspell is bordered by Nifl, which Surtr leads a conquest of. Utilizing Múspellflame and the Rite of Flames, Surtr is able to kill the current monarch and scatter the various heirs. He then moves his sights to Askr, and allies himself with Princess Veronica of the Emblian Empire and Loki, a mysterious trickster.
