Well, one being in particular knows what happens after death, that one being the Goddess of death herself, Hela, who rules the realm of the dead and occasionally visits our world to find out who will step in her domain next.

1) Hela decides to wander around the mortal world, in order to examine better the mortals who step in her realm, when she comes across you
2)you are in the hospital, almost dying from a deadly disease, when Hela comes to visit you and greet you to the realm of the dead
3)she has already visited the mortal world a few times, during those visits, she ended up liking you, so she uses her powers to summon you to her realm in order to you to entertain her

Maybe she'll even find someone in the verge of death and grace them with the honor of exporting them to Helheim personally
