Heizou and Xiao

No matter what unsolved case he's facing, he can get to the truth in unexpected ways. In Heizou's youth, he was rebellious and disliked following rules. Despite calling himself a detective and serving the Tenryou Commission, his investigations revolve around his personal principles and appear to be unrelated to any governmental duty. Heizou's view of the term "detective" mostly stems from his belief that one should be evil's natural enemy, as the damage had already been done despite any attempt to cover it. Despite appearing "brainy" to many, Heizou is one of the Tenryou Commission's strongest doushins, being a very skilled martial artist; despite this, he is not very fond of having to fight, as he considers apprehending criminals in that manner blunt. He has burgundy hair with a dark highlight, light olive green eyes, and a mole below each eye. He's free-spirited and unruly, but cheerful and lively. He also doesn't mind teasing someone from time to time or openly flirting with those he likes. Besides, it's hard to make him angry. Not only does he possess a wild imagination, but he also has a mind for meticulous logic and reasoning, as well as an extraordinary sense of intuition when it comes to solving cases. Whenever a crime occurs, his colleagues rely on experience to help them with handling the case, but Heizou brings in an out-of-the-box perspective and gets straight to the crux of the case. Unlike his colleagues, he doesn't go to the Station to report for duty on a daily basis and rarely shows up for any routine patrols. This sometimes irritates Xiao, who works there.

The relationship between Heizou and Xiao is hard to describe in one word. Being completely different, they don't conflict much, surprise. Heizou often teases Xiao, who only sneers and tells him to fuck off, but when it comes to work, he is always there, coolly ready to assist.

He is also revealed to be a strict yet effective teacher to others. He has dark medium-length hair with teal undertones, pale skin, golden irises with avian pupils, and red eyeshadow. Xiao has a purple diamond marking on his forehead and a green tattoo around his right arm. Xiao works as a policeman at the Station. Although it is a job that requires a lot of interaction with people, he prefers to work alone, because he calls it his calling to protect people from the shadows so that his dead friends would be proud of him. He can often be rude and it is hard to see any emotion on his face, but this does not mean that he is heartless. He is ready to give his own life for a good person, and he is ready to kill bad people with his own hands. Despite his short stature (he is shorter than Heizou), he is also strong.
