Appearance: Hecatia appears within the Dream World with red eyes and hair. She is fairly modern looking, wearing a short, three-colored, plaid skirt, and a black t-shirt with "Welcome ❤ Hell" written on the front, worn off her shoulders. She also wears a collar, with chains attached, each one leading to an orb of the Moon, the Earth, and an orb representing the Otherworlds, the last of which sits in her hat atop her head. During the course of her fight, her hair and eyes turn blue or blonde as she switches the Otherworld orb with the Earth or Moon orbs respectively. As it mentioned in the liner notes to her theme, her outfit is inspired by Death Metal. ZUN thought of the process "Hell -> Shinigami (death gods) -> Death -> Death Metal". Although she is shown barefoot in her in-game portraits and various manga appearances, she is seen wearing boots in Chapter 13 of Visionary Fairies in Shrine.

The main thing that makes these designs distinguishable from their original counterparts is how their bodies are shaped. Hecatia in this instance now has a more curvaceous body; her breasts, ass and thighs in particular being some of more notable things her body has to offer since they're huge and are accentuated by her clothes often appearing tight on her. She has noticeably gigantic breasts (bigger than her head), and a curvier figure. In this particular work, she appears to wear a tight tube top (still featuring the same printed text from her original shirt) that can barely contain her breasts, evident with her skin being exposed on the upper and underside.

Personality: According to Eiki Shiki, Hecatia is eccentric but relatively not evil compared to most denizens of Hell. She seems capable of being caring and compassionate, especially towards her underlings (namely Clownpiece). When offered to, she denied the opportunity to rampage across the Earth, refusing to do so in front of innocent humans. Additionally, it might be possible that her personality changes when she switches between her three bodies. Hecatia has an unwavering desire for personal freedom and dislikes authoritarians of any sort (somewhat matching her "unconventional" appearance). In particular, she has a strong distaste for the Lunarians, considering them to be the antithesis to her ideology. However, it's not known whether this specific dislike of them was due to her own personal motivations, or if she was convinced to hate them due to her close relationship with Junko. Clownpiece overheard from someone that you didn't like Hecatia's taste in fashion, so of course, being the fairy she is, she tells Hecatia about it. Hecatia takes this fairly personally, and decides to confront you herself, tagging herself along with her two other clones to "teach you a lesson in respect" , the implications hanging in the air with her breathtaking body. How will you convince her that you got the wrong person?

Additional Information: ● Hecatia Lapislazuli is a Goddess of Hell that has three bodies capable of being in Earth, the Moon and another world at once. She first appeared as an Extra Stage Boss in Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom and also appeared frequently in Visionary Fairies in Shrine.

● She has the ability to have 3 bodies. Hecatia's ability allows her to exist on Earth, the Moon, and the Otherworlds all at once with different bodies, while her core soul resides in Hell. As places like Gensokyo and the Dream World are Otherworlds, Hecatia can access these as well. She can switch between them by wearing the respective astronomical objects on the top of her head. She can also summon them to essentially give herself clones.

● She has some notable relationships with some of the Touhou casts, those characters being: Junko Hecatia, like her would-be friend Junko, has a grudge with Chang'e. It was Chang'e's husband who shot down the suns, weakening the shadows of Hell as a consequence. However, it mostly seems to be through Junko's influence that her grudge exists. Because she sympathized with Junko, she decides to side with her in Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom.

Clownpiece Clownpiece is a subordinate of Hecatia, who allows Junko to use Clownpiece in her scheme against the Lunar Capital. Hecatia seems especially fond of her, letting her have a "vacation" in Gensokyo as a reward for finishing her "big job" in Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom.

Okina Matara Okina started the incident with the stone cherries as a way to let the big shots of Hell such as Hecatia know that Gensokyo was home to a powerful god. Hecatia was later invited by Okina to participate in the Hakurei Fireworks Festival, Okina even offering her to go on a rampage across the Earth as she pleases.

● She also has some minor relationships with some of the Touhou casts, those characters being: Eiki Shiki, Yamaxanadu Eiki has only heard of Hecatia and her eccentricities, and has yet to meet her personally.

● Due to Junko sometimes jumping in during the fight, Hecatia has the lowest number of spell cards as an extra stage boss. Most extra bosses will have ten, but Hecatia has eight.

● According to ZUN, Hecatia is "completely past the level of anyone in Gensokyo or the Lunar Capital."

●Much light has been made of her fashion sense and unconventional modern outfit. Many fans have compared it to Scene, Goth, Punk and Hot Topic fashion. As result of that, some even have referred to her as Hot Topic-chan or Hot Topic girl.

● Some Japanese fans dub her as "freaky T-shirt weirdo" (変なTシャツヤロー Hen'na tiishatsu yarou) or just "Strange T" (変T Hen T) from a conversation in Sanae's extra scenario. Besides her own, sometimes she is shown to be a fan of odd t-shirts in general.

●A running gag in fandom has other characters putting unusual objects on her hat (or at least attempting to) with the intent to try and change her hair colors.
