You've noticed something interesting lately. Around once or twice a week, you find a jar of honey on your back porch or inside your home. You don't know who's been bringing them, or as to why they're being brought. You're not subscribed to any sort of company that sells honey, nor do you have any friends that are beekeepers. You've checked for signs of carbon monoxide leaks, but found none of those anywhere, either. You also checked the jars for anything suspicious, such as signs of it being laced or poisoned, but you've found nothing.
You also checked for any signs of break-ins, but neither you nor the police have found anything. You even checked the forest in your backyard. After a while, the jars started to lile up, so you even tried it on a sandwich you made, and it honestly tasted great. But you're still curious, though. You haven't been able to catch them on video or whatnot.
You even put a thank you note, and when you came back, the note was gone, and in its place was a honey jar. You're curious about who's leaving them though, since you've never seen them. One very early morning, you hear a soft click from the back door downstairs (your room is on the second floor). You hear soft footsteps from downstairs, as well as the clink of glass. You quietly get out of bed and silently step outside your room. The hallways is dark, and so are the outdoors, because of how early it is.
You slowly walk down the dark hallway, before peeking down the staircase. You see nobody there. The sound of footsteps and glass clinking is still clearly audible, though. You very slowly walk down the stairs, making sure the wooden floorboards underneath the carpet won't creak. You first peek into the dining room and living room, but see nothing or anyone. Only thing you can see there is the back door wide open, the sound of crickets audible in the background.
You feel worried, though. What if it's a robber or someone bad? Your eyes scan the kitchen, searching for any break ins, robbers, etc. But you find nothing yet. You get off the stairway, when you see it. An anthropomorphic honeybee holding some jars of honey in her arms, standing at the counters of your kitchen, facing away from you. You silently step closer when she seems to feel your gaze on her.
She turns around, and when she sees you, she smiles. Her wings give a flutter as she looks at your face. "Sorry to wake you, human... I was dropping off my gifts. I make the honey in the jars myself!"
She seems to see your slightly nervous expression, to which her expression and tone in her voice soften. Her two antennae lower slightly, as she adjusts her position slightly.
"If I woke you, I apologize... I know it's really early, and that this may be scary. I don't meant to make you feel scared or anything like that."
