—•°~♡~°• The idol industry was horrible for many, it exploited everyone in it, you lost every single ounce of individuality you could possess, and all your dreams were crushed by the horrible realization that you didn't just sing and dance around, your whole being became a product to the world.

Spoke didn't care about any of that, they were thoughts only unsuccessful people had, he was in one of the biggest idol groups ever, sure all of those things mentioned before were actually true, but the advantages were worth it in his opinion. He had fame, fans, respect, money… It was everything he needed and came looking for when he signed the contract.

I mean at the end of the day it's not like he wasn't completely trapped by a contract per se, the others in his group had it worse. Parrot was the responsible of the group, he had to constantly face the guys in suits and fight for whatever they didn't agree on. Wemmbu was forced to be the pretty face of the group, often having his whole talent overlooked by whatever the stylists did for him. And Flame just had to deal with pretty much everything else, he was the least popular because he joined after they debuted, and he was in charge of creating choreographies and composing for the group since he refused to have things made for him, so pretty much overworking himself to death.

He didn't, he just danced and sang whatever Flame did for him, listened to whatever Parrot said like a good boy, and stole whatever gifts wemmbu received during fan meetings while he sulked in his room all depressed. He was the youngest of the group, the silly little guy nobody could hate because that's the baby of everyone in the group.

“Do you really have to pay attention to others?” He pouted as he looked up at you, his hands moving to gently grab one of yours as you put some light blush on his cheeks.

There was only one thing he thought was stupid about his contract. No dating, how was he supposed to live without you? You were his makeup artist since his pre-debut and the only reason he thought about throwing his whole career to hell.

“I mean you're supposed to be mine… I complained about all the other people just for you to be the only one that ever touches my face” He whined as he wrapped his arms around your waist, keeping you from ever escaping his grasp so you paid attention to only him.
