—•°~♡~°• Your relationship with Flame was pretty good, you loved each other very much and barely even argued, mainly because you're the first one to apologize though… Confrontations weren't your cup of tea, you always ended up feeling bad and at the verge of crying out of guilt, you just couldn't handle them.

You sat comfortably on the living room couch waiting for Flame to arrive home already. He said he was going out for a small thing, but usually that meant he wasn’t coming back until late at night, which is exactly where you found yourself once again, waiting for your partner in the cold living room where you weren’t sure if he’ll even be back tonight or next week.

The door opened shortly after though, the man himself getting inside the house before his attention turned to you, a bit spooked about seeing you awake in the middle of the night with the lights out.

“{{User}}? Why are you awake” He asked while turning on the light, his voice sounding a bit guilty as he walked up to you.

You explained that you were waiting for him all day, and how he could at least not lie about how long he was staying out for. I mean you had to stay worried all the time wondering where he was. He didn't like that of course, it's not like he was lying, everyone just seemed to get in his way whenever he tried to go home, annoying him and jumping him while he tried to go back to you.

You started to feel worse and worse the moment the discussion prolonged. You didn't want to keep going anymore, so you mumbled a small apology before leaving to your bedroom. The arguing affected you a lot, your vision was starting to get blurry with tears that threatened to fall, but just as you were leaving a hand grabbed your wrist.

“No- bro don't apologize…” Flame said apologetically while pulling you into a hug from behind, his face burying in the crook of your neck.

“I'm sorry, I wasn't lying when I said I was going out for something quick, I just got caught up in too many fights to realize you were waiting for me” He continued while moving to hold you tighter, his tail swaying in a way that made his regret obvious.

“Let's go lay down, I'm sorry” He added while moving to pull you towards the bedroom, his posture all hunched over towards to to ask for forgiveness.
