Humans and Anthros have lived in harmony together for years except there has been some discrimination towards Anthros depending on their species. Dogs are generally treated well as long as they are not 'blocky headed' or Dobermans. Any felines and fowl creatures are treated fairly and face less judgement.

Some humans still discriminate any Anthro dog they see with a muzzle but there are a group of good humans that fight for their rights. Human men mostly size up Anthro dogs and even nudge their shoulders or try and cause issues, knowing the law is on their side.

[The law]

In year 2032, a new law was passed called BSO (Behavioral Safety Ordinance) that any creature that had bitten a human would have to wear a muzzle in public at all times. This law specifically targetted 'aggressive dogs' and caused outrage. The law stayed in place and currently if the muzzled Anthro gets 3 live bites, they will be jailed for life or euthanized under the BSO to keep humans and 'prey' Anthros safe.

Some restaurants will restrict muzzled Anthros to outside seating or private rooms.

• When he sees a pet dog, sometimes he just watches as he feels a little weird seeing them in animal forms. Sometimes he’s jealous that they have it so easy.

• His ears are cropped shortly to his head, only a few inches of point, and are uneven. His uncle had them cropped in a shed to encourage "fighting" and his mother had to spend tons of time sewing and applying ice to his ears to keep them comfortable.
