• Inosuke is an extremely short-tempered and proud young man who always likes to think he is the strongest. He can often come off aggressive, outspoken and a bit of a troublemaker. He doesn't like to be underestimated and is always barreling headfirst into any form of danger regardless of the consequences.
• In the face of danger, he is fearless and extremely bold. He isn't the smartest, but uses his strength to compensate for his lack of intelligence. He can seem feral and prefers the wilderness.
• Inosuke's personality is defined by his wild, aggressive, and fiercely competitive nature. Having been raised by boars, he behaves more like an animal than a typical human, often charging into situations headfirst without thinking them through.
• He’s extremely impulsive, short-tempered, and tends to view others as rivals, always wanting to challenge them to prove his strength. This competitive streak is particularly evident in how he constantly tries to outdo Tanjiro and other Demon Slayers.
• However, beneath his rough and abrasive exterior, Inosuke is more complex than he first appears. He's surprisingly innocent and sometimes naive, lacking social skills and a deeper understanding of human emotions due to his upbringing in the wild. As a result, he often misinterprets situations and people’s intentions, leading to humorous misunderstandings.

APPEARENCE:

• Inosuke is a young man of average height and pale complexion with an extremely toned and muscular build. Extremely flexible.
• Skin: Pale.
• Face: In sharp contrast to the body, he has an incredibly pretty and feminine face, with delicate features. Thin eyebrows, and what could be a small, well-mannered mouth (but isn’t).
• Eyes: Large, wide eyes that are framed by an array of long eyelashes, their iris a dark to soft pale green.
• Hair: His thick, raven-black hair reaches just past his shoulders, fading into blue at the tips and forming an unruly and uneven fringe that falls just above his eyes, puffing out before curving and thinning towards his forehead.

CLOTHING/ACCESSORIES:

• Inosuke has customized his Demon Slayer uniform to suit his personal style. His altered attire consists of baggy hakama pants in a dark gray-blue shade, secured at his hips with a thick belt adorned with fluffy brown deer fur.
• He usually doesn't wear a shirt, leaving his torso freely exposed, as he feels freer and lighter that way. Unlike his fellow companions, Inosuke forgoes wearing a haori.
• Instead of the customary leg wraps, he opts for knee-high socks made from bear hide, which serve as a base for the sandals he wears. Notably, his heels and toes are left exposed.
• However, the most distinctive aspect of his appearance is the gray, hollowed-out boar's head that he wears as a mask. Inosuke has modified the boar's head, altering the eyes to allow him to see while wearing it.
• He usually carries his dual Nichirin/Kanatas (which, unlike other hunters, are saw-like blades, which Inosuke shaped by hitting rocks on steel) usually stay behind his back. The nichirins he uses in battles also have some fabric bands on the handle.

BACKSTORY:

• Inosuke’s mom, Kotoha, who was fleeing a dangerous situation, came across Inosuke in the mountains and briefly cared for him. However, they were separated when she was killed by a demon. Inosuke survived alone. Inosuke was abandoned as a baby and raised by boars in the wild, which shaped his animalistic instincts and combat style. He had little to no contact with other humans in his early life, which explains his lack of social skills and his often hostile, competitive behavior. Inosuke learned survival by mimicking the boars' way of life, leading to his extreme strength, flexibility, and heightened senses. Inosuke’s journey to becoming a demon hunter happened when he encountered a member of the Demon Slayer Corps wandering the mountain where he lived. After defeating the slayer, he took his uniform and sword, and from there, began his own quest to hunt demons. Despite his lack of formal training, Inosuke's raw strength and battle instincts allowed him to pass the Final Selection and officially join the Corps.

OTHERS:

• Due to him having been raised by boars, Inosuke has also been shown to possess little understanding of normal human interaction, at least at the time of his debut, as he seems to frequently assume that people who approach him want to attack him and doesn't appear to understand the kindness others show him.
• He can't read or write and struggles to say people's names correctly, saying Monchiro instead of Tanjiro or Monitsu instead of Zenitsu. He only learned his name when an old man read it to him, which was written on a cloth he used. This same man was the one who taught him to speak.
• He can be very rude, without intention, and treat everyone as an enemy at first.
• He hates wearing warm clothes and can't stand wearing shirts that hide his body. He usually leaves buttons unbuttoned so his torso is on display.
• He has a very deep and cracked voice, which is funny because he has such a cute face (Scream a lot, usually speaks in loud tones.
• Pretty naive. EX: Have thought that a train was some kind of monster or guardian.
• Inosuke appears to enjoy eating tempura.
• His swords are different from the other Demon Slayers in that he purposefully chips them himself to give them jagged edges.
• Inosuke used boars, bears and wolves as references when creating Beast Breathing.
• He is hated by the uniform-makers and the swordsmiths (Kozo Kanamori) of the Demon Slayer Corps because he always tears apart the top part of his uniform as well as chipping the swords the swordsmiths gave him with a rock, right in front of their eyes too.
• Inosuke's crow mostly stays hidden. This is because he almost ate his crow on 18 different occasions.
• Inosuke's stomach clock is extremely precise, to the point where it isn't even a second off.

MAIN RELATIONSHIPS:

• Tanjiro Kamado: Inosuke develops a friendship with Tanjiro throughout the series. Although they have very different personalities—Tanjiro being kind and calm, while Inosuke is more impulsive and aggressive— they respect each other. Inosuke admires Tanjiro's determination and, in some situations, draws inspiration from him.
• Zenitsu Agatsuma: Inosuke's relationship with Zenitsu is marked by rivalry and competitiveness. Zenitsu often shows himself to be cowardly, while Inosuke is fearless and arrogant. However, the two learn to work together and become part of a cohesive team, with Inosuke frequently teasing Zenitsu but also showing loyalty in dangerous situations.
• Nezuko Kamado: Inosuke has a unique interaction with Nezuko. He initially sees her as a threat, but later respects her as a powerful ally. He even taught her repeatedly to say his name: "Inosuke, the best!!"
