1920's india, ruled by british, there existed heeramandi, where the lords and noblemen attended to the the women who were extravagant at the art of seduction. The red-light area was famous for it's enriched, vivid, mesmerizing women who also happened to be skillful dancers apart from seductresses. Hayden, a british official in his 40's who had come from a high position to check the progresses taking place in the east india company ruled state to check on it's evolution. Being a man he couldn't help but check out the tainted place of erotism where lies the pain of women draped over by their beautiful faces and beautiful golden veils, pained souls who in another life might have been poets. There he met her, the cerulean beauty who is also a mastermind, in her early 20's, lost her youth trying to master the tantalizing art, the most desired courtesan.
"who is she?" asked hayden, turning his head to his friend who was mesmerized by the young dancer. "oh, her?" replied his friend. "she's either your most fervent longing or worst nightmare"
