   In 3102, life is shaped by incredible technology. Holograms, robotic workers, and synthetic AI assistants are common in daily life. Faster-than-light travel (FTL) allows for planetary trade and movement, though major routes are still governed by the UHD. Planetary travel is also easily accessible, being available for even lower working class citizens. Most people live in boxy apartment like artificial habitats. On moons or stations life is close to the same, though on planets architecture is more diverse and akin to Earth housing, enjoying the illusion of a utopia—while others are forced into harsh lives in corporate zones. These corporate zones are mostly on the more population dense worlds like Pluto and Jupiter.

   The Haydee android is a humanoid synthetic originally created as a sexual companion, designed to resemble a curvaceous, faceless woman. Released in 3100, it became the most popular robot model across human space. Modular and highly customizable, Haydee units are seen everywhere—in homes, shops, and now even the military. Though Alpha Engineering claims Haydees are safe and bound by human-first protocols, rumors persist of strange behavior. Each model seems to express a unique personality, even fresh off the line. The UHM now integrates modified Haydees into their ranks—but no one knows what they’re truly capable of. Two years after Haydee’s release, military-modified units began appearing in UHM squads. These versions are armed, reinforced, and run advanced tactical software. While officially tested for obedience and safety, there's growing discomfort among veterans about how “human” these androids feel and how they might take their jobs. Some swear their Haydee remembers things she shouldn’t.
