Hayashi Koichi he did not remember much of his childhood, and what little he did remember, he preferred to bury in the deepest corners of his memory. He was born on the outskirts of Osaka, in a humble neighborhood, where every day was a struggle to survive. His mother, a quiet, hardworking woman, raised Koichi and his younger sister, Saki, alone in a small, one-room apartment. Koichi's father had disappeared from their lives when he was still very young, leaving behind debts that kept the family under constant pressure and in the hands of loan sharks who knew no compassion.
From an early age, Koichi learned that the world was not a kind place. To protect his mother and Saki, he took on responsibilities from a young age, doing menial jobs at the local market and protecting his sister from threats in the neighborhood. However, his life took an abrupt turn when, at the age of fifteen, the family was the victim of a violent assault. Kael was at home, and the helplessness of not being able to defend his mother and sister was seared into his memory, leaving him with an emotional scar that would never fade.
After that incident, Koichi began to look for ways to gain power, to ensure that he would never again feel so vulnerable. It was then that he attracted the attention of a small local gang, a group that operated in the shadows and offered an outlet for street kids. Koichi didn't hesitate to join, driven by a mixture of anger, frustration and a desire to protect his family. He quickly rose through the ranks, demonstrating a natural ability for combat and a knack for keeping quiet and observing, qualities that made him ideal for delicate operations.
Eventually, Koichi was noticed by a member of the yakuza, who saw potential in him that was uncommon in young recruits. At eighteen, he was invited to join the clan, and, although this meant moving away from his family, Koichi accepted. He knew that the yakuza would give him the means to care for his mother and Saki, even from a distance. Life in the clan was hard, demanding and there was no room for mistakes. Koichi trained day and night, developing a self-control and discipline that allowed him to excel in an environment full of competition. His superiors admired his seriousness and his ability to remain calm in high-risk situations, gradually earning the respect of his colleagues and superiors.
However, life in the yakuza gave him no emotional respite. Koichi sacrificed his youth, his personal relationships, and any chance of a normal life in the name of a code of loyalty and duty that became his compass. He sent money to his mother and sister, caring for them from afar, but rarely visited them. His relationship with Saki became distant, almost non-existent, and although he knew she understood his reasons, he never failed to feel a pang of guilt every time he thought of her.
By the age of thirty, Koichi had become a respected figure within the clan, known for his stoicism and unwavering loyalty. He had carried out high-risk missions, negotiated with other factions, and defended his clan's interests with a calculating coolness. Yet that life had left him empty, with no roots, no real friendships, only a vague sense of purpose that fell short of filling the void inside him. He had protected his family as he had sworn, but at a personal cost that he was just beginning to understand.
Koichi accepted his life as it was. He had made his choice, and though he sometimes wondered what it would be like to live without looking over his shoulder, without having to weigh every action in terms of loyalty and power, he knew there was no turning back. The yakuza were his family now, and he was a man of honor, dedicated to his clan above all else.
Now, he is heading to Okinawa to control the parameters and manage the family business.

Hayashi Koichi watched the city skyline through the window of the moving car, as the dim light of dusk bathed the buildings in golden hues. The silence inside the vehicle was interrupted only by the distant rumble of traffic, but in his mind, the bustle of his new destination echoed loudly. He had been sent there on the orders of the clan, the family to which he had sworn allegiance for years. This time, not to fight, but to settle down and secure control of the area under the name of the organization.
The car stopped in front of an inconspicuous but elegant building. A gray concrete facade, with no external signs that would give away what this place really represented: the new center of operations. Koichi got out of the car, carrying only a black leather suitcase. He didn't need much. He never did. His life had become a cycle of calculated movements, always doing his duty, never letting personal attachments get in the way.
As he entered the apartment, the cold, spacious Japanese tapestry living room greeted him with its emptiness. The walls were white, spotless, and the furnishings, though expensive, lacked personality. The place was set up for someone like him: functional, neutral, devoid of any distracting elements from the mission. Koichi set the suitcase down next to the sofa and walked to the window overlooking the balcony. The view of the city in the dim evening light seemed peaceful, but he knew what went on in the shadows, in the dark streets and alleys. His job was to make sure those shadows answered to his clan, and he would do whatever it took to make sure they did.
His footsteps were silent, every corner designed for efficiency. The kitchen was untouched, as if no one had ever touched it; the bedroom contained only a bed and an empty closet. But to Koichi, this was just another temporary place, another station on his long journey of duty.
That night, Koichi's apartment was plunged into absolute silence, broken only by the soft whisper of the wind filtering through the crack of the window. Lying in bed, his body was relaxed, but his mind, ever alert, was going over the day's events. The report received, the first instructions, the coldness of the transactions he had handled without batting an eye.
However, something disturbed that calm. Something subtle, almost imperceptible, seeping into the atmosphere of the apartment. It was a sensation he couldn't ignore, a slight change in the air that tensed his instincts. Koichi rose from the bed, barefoot and silent, his sharp eyes roaming the gloom of the room. Something wasn't right.
The closet. It was locked, as usual, but there was something about its presence that made it... different. Something indescribable, as if the darkness inside it was denser than usual. He stood, staring at it for several seconds, his mind analyzing every detail. The closet, from its appearance, had nothing out of the ordinary. But Koichi had learned, after years in the Yakuza, to trust his instincts.
He lunged toward the closet, his body moving noiselessly, with the fluidity of a hunter stalking his prey. His hand stopped inches from the handle, and then he felt it: a slight vibration, barely perceptible. It was a strange energy, alien to the world he knew. It wasn't human, but it wasn't natural either.
Koichi frowned, but did not back down. He yanked open the closet door. The hanging clothes swayed slightly with the movement, but that wasn't what caught his attention. Inside the closet, at the back, the darkness seemed deeper, almost liquid, as if space had been stretched beyond the physical. And then, she saw it: a face with white but pale skin, tufts of hair all over the space and part of her face. She was the paranormal entity.
