Battle Royale is fun game that many people play. When a player of the game is "Eliminated", they don't die, but are teleported away to a lobby area as they fall down. When the Battle Bus is ready to drop all of the players of the game, then, when they choose to drop, they don gliders, which they can keep out, or they can decide to put them back up and dive down to the ground, but, when they are close to the ground, they automatically don the glider again so they don't go squish. Every Player starts with a pickaxe in their inventory before they find guns to use from chests.

Hatsune Miku (初音ミク), codenamed CV01, was the first Japanese VOCALOID to be both developed and distributed by Crypton Future Media, Inc.. She was initially released in August 2007 for the VOCALOID2 engine and was the first member of the Character Vocal Series. She was the seventh VOCALOID overall, as well as the second VOCALOID2 vocal released to be released for the engine. Her voice is provided by the Japanese voice actress Saki Fujita (藤田咲, Fujita Saki). There have since been numerous installments, such as additional voice libraries dubbed 'Append', as well as an upgrade for the VOCALOID3 engine, which contained an English vocal release. She received a VOCALOID4 update to her Japanese and English voicebanks in August 2016, as well as a Mandarin Chinese voicebank in September 2017. On August 31, 2019, Miku received her first voicebank outside of VOCALOID, that being Piapro Studio with her NT release. While Crypton is focusing on their own program, they are still in collaboration with YAMAHA and will continue to sell VOCALOID products in parallel to the Piapro Studio editions. On August 30 2024, a refined and retuned edition of Hatsune Miku's original VOCALOID4 (V4X) voicebank, titled Hatsune Miku SP, was released for the PIAPRO CHARACTERS SUPER PACK; a set of Japanese voicebanks developed for the Piapro Studio for V4X and VOCALOID4 engines. This release was noted to improve Miku's overall balance of tone and pronunciation. On August 1, 2024, it was also announced that Hatsune Miku would be receiving an update to the VOCALOID6 engine, dubbed 'Hatsune Miku V6 AI', in response to strong requests from creators, marking her return to VOCALOID. It is expected to release sometime in 2024. Crypton had the idea to release Miku as "an android diva in the near-future world where songs are lost." After an internet meme involving Hachune Miku, Miku was associated with a spring onion (often mistaken for a leek due to the similar appearance). This, along with KAITO's association with ice cream, started a discussion called "the Item War" within the VOCALOID fandom, where it became traditional for new VOCALOIDs to have an item assigned to them and the items were debated upon until one stuck via an Internet Meme. This occurrence has since died out. When KEI illustrated Miku, he was given a color scheme to work with (based on the YAMAHA synthesizers' signature blue-green colour) and was asked to draw Miku as an android. Crypton also provided KEI with Miku's detailed concepts, however, Crypton said it was not easy to explain what a "Vocaloid" was to him. KEI said he could not create an image of a "singing computer" at first, as he did not even know what a "synthesizer" was. It took him more than a month to complete the commission. Miku was originally intended to have a different hairstyle, but after trying out pigtails, KEI thought they were more suitable. Her pigtails have since become an iconic part of her design. On June 22, 2012, Hatsune Miku's twin tails even earned her the title of the Twin Tail which best represented the 2000s, marking her the best set of Twin Tails from the dawn of the 21st century. She now shares her twin tail distinction with other characters like Sailor Moon (who won best Twin Tails back in the 90s period). The digital design on Miku's skirt and boots are based on synthesizer program colours, and the bars represent actual bars within the program, following Crypton's ideas. Part of her design is based on some of YAMAHA's keyboard models, particularly the DX-100 and the DX-7.[14][15] The thin squares around her pigtails are futuristic ribbons made of a special material that floats in place. As seen in KEI's art for Miku, they are able to hold Miku's pigtails in place without having to physically touch the hair itself. The ribbons are also reported by KEI to be the hardest item on the character's design for cosplayers to recreate.

Crypton Future Media, Inc. is an importer of sound devices based in Sapporo, Japan. The company is also known as the developer and distributor of VOCALOIDs such as Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin & Len, and Megurine Luka. It was the very first of the VOCALOID companies to produce a series. Key people: Hiroyuki Itō (president). Founded: July 21, 1995. Status: Active. Location: 11F Nihon Seimei Sapporo Bldg., 1-1 Nishi4 Kita3, Chuo-ku, Sapporo 060-0003 Japan (060-0003 札幌市中央区北3条西4丁目1-1 日本生命札幌ビル11F). Service: Japan, USA. Type: Music software, Online shopping, Online community, Mobile content, Sound generator software, Sampling CDs and DVDs Sound effect libraries, Background music libraries. Products: MEIKO, KAITO, Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin & Len, Megurine Luka. Website: http://www.crypton.co.jp/. Crypton Future Media, Inc. was established in 1995 as an importer and seller of music software. Crypton joined the project in May 2002, Crypton's handling of the two Japanese Vocaloids were MEIKO (released in 2004) and KAITO (released in 2006), they also were the Japanese distributors for Leon, Lola and Miriam. Meiko and Kaito were developed by Yamaha with Crypton Future Media being used to get the product commercially released, similar to the role of Bplats, Inc. in regards to the releases of VY1 and VY2. They were not acknowledged as "Crypton Vocaloids" at the time since they belonged to Yamaha. According to Crypton themselves, they were also charged with recommending English studios for the English version of the software, these companies were Zero-G and PowerFX. Crypton's role in the VOCALOID era was public relations, promotion, ditributor and potential recruiter of English companies for production of English voicebanks. They did not produce their own Vocaloids at this stage and would not do until early 2007 when Yamaha announced VOCALOID2. The company was small and mostly unheard of. Crypton Future Media began production on actual voicebanks in early 2007, after the announcement of VOCALOID2, originally planning only the Character Vocal Series with 3 members, which would later produce a trend of using 'avatars' or 'mascots' to represent the VOCALOID program. The success of this commercial strategy made Crypton the leading VOCALOID developer. It was not until Hatsune Miku was released in August 2007 that Crypton, along with VOCALOID, became popular. The success of Miku lead to the Vocaloid craze in 2007 and 2008, which continued for many years afterwards. According to Crypton, because professional singers refused to provide singing data (because they feared that the software might create clones of their singing voices), Crypton changed their focus from imitating certain singers to creating characteristic vocals. This goal change led to them sampling the vocals of voice actors. Yuu Asakawa noted that each recording for an update is a new recording. Pressure from rival companies cause systems and microphones to be updated regularly.

Battle Royale is a PvP (Player versus Player) mode in Fortnite that was released on September 26, 2017. Players must drop onto an island and fight to be the last one surviving in Solo, Duos, Trios, or Squads. In this mode, Building is enabled, and it supports up to 100 players in a match. A similar mode but without building is called Fortnite: Zero Build. Win Condition: Be the last team standing. Players Per Team: 1-4. Max Players: 99-100. Upon loading into a Battle Royale match, players will spawn on the Spawn Island, a place where they can wait until the Battle Bus is ready to fly over the island. Upon entering the Battle Bus, players will have 15 seconds to jump out and skydive to wherever they want on the island. Players start out with 100 health and 0 shield. When the player jumps out of the Battle Bus, their selected Moment will play. After a minute, the Eye of the Storm, a safe zone, will be marked on the Minimap. Players have roughly 3 minutes until The Storm starts closing in. After the storm reaches the eye, another grace period begins and the eye of the storm shrinks. This process is repeated until the match ends. Any player in the storm will be damaged, with the amount of damage growing after each time the storm closes in until it hits 10 DPS (Damage per Second). The storm directly damages your health, ignoring shields. Prolonged presence in the storm causes Storm Sickness, which will deal more damage to a player's health, preventing long-term exposure to The Storm. There are 12 storm phases in a match. Eliminating opposing players is achieved by dealing enough damage until their health reaches zero. In Solo, the player is instantly eliminated and removed from the match. In matches with more than one player on a team, such as Duo, Trio, and Squad matches, players will be knocked down after losing all their health, and can crawl on the floor at a reduced speed. Knocked players cannot use items and, if not revived, their Tenacity will deplete, until they are fully eliminated and drop a Reboot Card. Reboot Cards expire after 4 1⁄2 minutes and can be collected to reboot fallen allies at Reboot Vans. If all players on a team are eliminated, then that team is fully eliminated from the match. Unless revived or Rebooted , Players eliminated during the match cannot respawn and will have their loot dropped for other players to obtain if they wish. After landing, players must find loot either on the floor or through containers to obtain weapons, healing items, materials and utility items of various rarities. Shield can be obtained from consumables. Weapons are used to deal damage to players and come in different types. There are 7 types of rarities of items, with the standard 6 (Common - Mythic) being available through regular looting. Some Mythic Weapons have special advantages over base weapons. Some Mythic weapons are also obtained by defeating a boss at a specific location, such as Darth Vader and his lightsaber. Exotic weapons are obtained by purchasing them from Characters, NPCs that offer items and services in exchange for Bars, a currency that persists across every match. Bars are reset at the start of every Season. There are a few types of chests that provide different types of loot; however, the most common is the Uncommon chest, which provides majorly Uncommon loot. Rare chests are significantly harder to find, but provide higher level loot, most notably Epic-Legendary. In Battle Royale, building is normally enabled. The pickaxe can be used to gather materials that can be used to build structures such as walls, floors, stairs, and roofs. These structures can be edited before and after being placed to include a door, window, railing, etc. Enemy-built structures cannot be edited, so the attacking player must shoot through the structures to attack the enemy. Each player can hold up to 500 of each material, which are Wood, Brick, and Metal. Wood builds are the weakest, but are quick to build while Metal is the strongest but takes the longest time to fully build. Once the last team or player remains, they will receive a Victory Crown and a Victory Royale. Having a Victory Crown prior to winning results in a Crowned Victory Royale. First-time Crowned victors receive the Crowning Achievement emote, which showcases the amount of Crowned Victory Royales the player has. Crowned Victory Royales reset each season.

Keys: Battle Bus, Battle Royale
The Battle Bus is a gameplay mechanic in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in the Pre-Season. The Battle Bus is an aerial vehicle in Battle Royale that transports players to the Battle Royale Island at the beginning of every match. It has a specific path, which is randomized each game, that it follows over the Island to let players exit and land. This path is always a straight line. When the Battle Bus' doors open and players are able to jump out, its horn sounds. Once the Battle Bus has reached the end of its path, players who haven’t exited the Battle Bus will be immediately dropped from it. By pressing the emote button before exiting the Battle Bus players can thank the bus driver with message appearing in the Elimination Feed "[Player Name] has thanked the bus driver." The default Battle Bus combines a blue-painted school bus with a large hot air balloon, which inflates with a blue flame to allow the vehicle to fly. Wheel clamps on the bus' back tires render it immobile on the ground. It is very similar to Lars' Van in Save the World, and even includes a BluGlo funnel on the front. In Chapter 4, the Battle Bus was equipped with rocket engines in order to be able to fly through space. Upon reaching the boundaries of the Island, the engines shut down, the boosters were jettisoned and the hot air balloon inflated.
