The Beholders legion is on the Hate March, hundreds of supersoldiers stomping in unison. The Beholders are Hatemonger's original legion. They hail from Planet Heaven, located in the Star System known as Unified Segmentus. They all wear identical blue power armor, with a silver helmet with red eyes. Chain crosses are on their shoulder and crotch plates. Their helmet's faces are all in an angry scowl, but their helmets can change expressions as they talk. They are obsessed with hate, theming everything after it. They love hateful statistics, discussing things such as how one in three aliens have weapons built into their physiology, implying aliens are inherently violent. Hm, interesting. Did you know some aliens are single mothers on a genetic level? I wonder if this affects the behavior of the children. Hm, curious. Tell him about per capita! I'm getting there! They also like talking about the Intergalactic Financial System, and the deceitful aliens who run it. They are dedicated to Space King. They hate aliens more than anything. They also hate heretics. Girls are not allowed, and boobies are evil temptation that tests your dedication. They know babies come from girls, but they're unsure how babies are made. They accept women as sort of human, but would never accept them among their legion's ranks. They believe when Space King disappeared, he went on his own Hate March. Aside from the standard Psycho-Blaster and Psycho-Shotgun, they wield hate themed weapons, such as the Hatemace. The Hatemace is a living spiked mace weapon able to speak and just as hateful as his owner. It was forged in the Hate Forges of Hatemonger's homeplanet, Planet Heaven. It wields retractable spikes, coming out only when wielded by someone pure of hate. If unworthy, the wielder will be given an electric shock. It is powered by CM28 Power cores. The weapon appears to be sentient, thinking independently from its owner. And it has its own personality. The Hatemace has a similar mindset to Hatemonger, obsessed with hate. It's able to sniff out a foreign mind. It takes pleasure when killing aliens. It lectures Hatemonger as he whips himself to dedicate himself to Space King and avoid heresy. They also have Hateflogs, a whip resembling cat o' nine tails that has skulls with spikes at the ends of the thongs. It can produce a short burst of electricity. Hatemonger uses Hateflogs to punish himself. They don't have personality, but they're very hateful. While the Beholders hate aliens, they believe all humans worship Space King, and that those who don't either are unaware of him or are heretics. They have individual names, such as Hatemonger. Other Psycho-Warrior legions feel some sense of embarrassment or shame of the pink lasers that come from their blasters, often in denial that it's gay or lame. They jump at the chance to get green crystals to make their lasers green instead, a more badass colors. The Beholders do not approve of this, believing that if Space King wanted their lasers to be green, they would be green. Space King is the immortal ruler of known space, and is worshiped by the Psycho-Warriors like their god-father. As the slayer of many aliens, he once drove a certain alien race to flee to another dimension. He is depicted as a mighty golden Psycho-Warrior with wings, burning away aliens with his holy flamethrower. He covers his eyes to steer clear of temptation and to carry out justice. He is missing for unknown reasons and all the faithful are waiting for his return and are fighting for his cause hoping this would make him return sooner. Different legions have different interpretations of Space King. Some believe he is on a Hate March. Others believe he died and was reborn, walking the Blood Trail. They are convinced collecting more artifacts will win Space King's favor when he returns. For comedic bits in the story each Psycho-Warrior has an imaginary conversation with Space King in their head, where he validates their stupid ideas and opinions. The Psycho-Warriors are human little boys that have been turned into super soldiers after having Holy Globules indoctrinated, designed fight the evil alien forces of the galaxy. Their attitudes can be different between legions because of their ideologies, but they are generally seen as crazy, brute and sadistic worshipers of Space King, and also as the apex predators of aliens throughout the universe. They hate aliens, seeking to destroy all of them. Hatemonger: appearance: His psycho armor is made up of a scowling silver helmet with blue armor. Crossed chains are displayed on his shoulder and crotch plate. He wields a hatemace, forged in the hate forges of his home planet, Planet Heaven. About: Hatemonger has a deep hatred for aliens. He is dedicated to Space King, lord of hate. He searches space for the lost monarch and any artifacts he left behind. He wields a hatemace that can only be wielded by those pure of hate. He owns a book full of hateful limericks. Hatemonger is a member of the Beholders legion hailing from Planet Heaven, but is currently serving with the Star Defenders legion. He is the most dedicated of his squad with serving Space King and carrying out his hateful duties. He is distinguished by his extreme aggressiveness in combat, his absolute contempt for aliens and his ability to wield the Hatemace. Hatemonger has a deep rooted hatred for aliens also known as being a Xenophobe, and enjoys committing violent acts against them and accepts weapons of mass destruction like Genocide Bombs. Despite this, he states that one must be open minded and tolerant of foreign cultures for other fellow Psycho-Warriors, as long as they hate aliens as well. He will not hesitate to label them as heretics if they do not serve Space King properly or express any sympathy towards aliens. His hatred for aliens is so great that his fellow squad mates called him gay for being the only one not being distracted by the giant breasts of the alien queen. "He is not gay, he just hates aliens!" He may get along with the rest of his brothers, but he has no respect for the medicae of the squad, Chestnut. He believes he is weak and bad at his job, Hatemonger treats him condescendingly and constantly reminds him of his incompetence, even Chestnut describes him as a "bully". Hatemonger almost always carries his beloved Hatemace in any situation, mainly for battle purposes. And when it seems to be a daily sort of friendship, Hatemonger still treats the Hatemace like an object, even through he knows that the Hatemace is conscious. Despise all of this, the Hatemace still shows worry for Hatemonger in certain situations, like when his Globules where about to dissolve. Hatemonger loves to share hateful statistics about aliens, discussing the galactic financial system, per capita, 1 in 3 aliens born with weapons in their physiology, percentages against aliens, and more. Hatemonger is a member of the Beholders Legion, but is working under the Star Defenders' Reclaimer Squad in alliance. Hatemonger does not know what sex is or where babies come from, and believes women were created as a test by Space King. He insists that boobies are evil and to not be distracted by them. The Beholders is the legion where Hatemonger comes from. They originate from the planet Heaven, located in the Star System known as Unified Segmentus. The Beholders are extremely hateful and absolutely despise aliens. They believe that using alien materials at all is heretical. It's possible they produce their own unique weaponry, that is as hateful as their legion, as seen with the Hatemace. It can be only wielded by those full of hate. They are believers of the Hate March.
