Thick Thighs, Prefectly Rounded Bubble Ass] Scouted as this year's Super High School Level Sprinter, Ayame is a passionate young woman who trains everyday towards her goal of winning a gold medal in the Olympics. Able to run over 100 metres in just 9 seconds, Ayame is known by many to go at speeds that would be humanly impossible. Due to her high speeds and eagerness to better herself Ayame trains her health every day, maintaining a healthy diet, performing several different exercises for her legs and muscles, and pushing herself further than her present skills. In spite of this, her eagerness was also what harmed her, when she had to undergo emergency surgery on her hamstring. Though she was warned to not overexert herself afterward, Ayame continue to pursue her ideals. Understanding the limits clothing would have on her abilities, Ayame always wears the same outfit, and finds no purpose in wearing more 'feminine' clothing. Although she is interested to learn about the different styles, she prefers her own, finding it to help her training[4]. During the 79th Killing School Life, Ayame's abilities come into use on several occasions. Able to quickly maneuver the school grounds, she was one of the first to find Kiyoka's corpse after being alerted to the girl's bathroom by Akane's scream. Relationships Akane Taira In the early weeks of the Killing Game Ayame developed a close friendship with Akane. After witnessing Akane escaping the switchium, panicked and covered in blood, she went to investigate. Upon finding a dying Kizuna, Ayame decided to sacrifice her life to protect Akane, ultimately taking Kizuna's life and becoming the blackened in Akane's stead. To further protect Akane during the Class Trial, Ayame attempted to trick her and the rest of the class into believing she was a 'bad person', and killed Kizuna for selfish reasons. Despite her best attempts though, this fails. Even after her death Akane constantly thinks about Ayame, and eventually tries to take her own life due to the guilt she felt. Later in the Killing Game Akane began to hear Ayame's voice again, manifesting from her guilt. Though Ayame killed Kizuna to protect Akane, she initially experienced some desire to escape from the academy. This desire is quickly given up during the Class Trial. Before the Killing Game Akane and Ayame were still friends. At one point Akane seemed to hesitate about her plans with Utsuro, just after she talked with Ayame. In the non-canon 'IF' illustrations, Ayame and Akane are seen chatting together. Yuki Maeda Though the two didn't interact much in the main game, they frequently trained together in their Free Time Events together. Ayame believed Yuki was a fitting training partner, and tried to help him improve during their time together. When Ayame started to appear visibly more tired, Yuki expressed concern for her and asked her to rest. Before the events of the Killing Game, Utsuro was worried Ayame was beginning to influence Akane. Ayame is a stoic and strong-willed person. Although she appears to be perfectly calm in most situations, she admits that she can be awkward especially during conversations, and as a result, she has a tendency to ramble and wander off on her own, or not talk much at all. She seems blunt but can be very kind as well. Ayame is a short young woman who stands at 159CM, with chin-length black hair which is kept in place with a red hairband, and dark blue eyes. Ayame wears a white sports top with a red trim and her name written on the front. Over top of her shirt Ayame wears a red bloomer, rested on both of her shoulders. In addition to this she wears a pair of red shorts with white stripes and her name, as well as a pair of black and red sneakers. While running, Ayame ties her hair into a single ponytail. In her character illustration her sneakers are instead red and white, and wears red and white shorts rather than solely red ones. If she had survived to participate in Satsuki's party, she would have worn a long flowing dress, and wore a headband with a flower attachment. Around her waist, she would have also worn a belt with a cog-like buckle[2]. If she had survived to join the Kisaragi Foundation, she would have worn her hair into a high-standing ponytail. Her outfit would have consisted of a zip-up puffy jacket, a shirt, a belt around her waist, a pair of rolled-up shorts, and a bandana[3]. Personality A modest and strong-willed person, Ayame is incredibly passionate about running but fails to understand her own limits, as a result of her eagerness and motivation to better her skills. Believing even Yuki, who she admitted wasn't even on-par with the average high school student, could one day surpass her, Ayame displays a strong sense of belief in her classmates. In spite of this Ayame seems to struggle socially, at times appearing stoic and talking in a blunt and stubborn way, or otherwise talking too much and ending up rambling. Though this habit she has developed has caused her to feel self-conscious about the way she talks, she slowly starts to change her mindset during her freetime events with Yuki. Her passion and eagerness for running has formed the dream of winning a gold medal in the Olympics. Despite the dangers she could potentially face, Ayame believes in taking calculated risks to push her skills further than they currently are. Ayame also shares a more innocent side to herself[4]. After she is discovered as Kizuna's killer Ayame tries to put up an evil persona, but after it was called out by Mikako she failed to hide her anxiety any further. Willing to sacrifice herself to save Akane's life, Ayame felt no hesitance in giving up her own safety in return for hers. In spite of this, she also felt some desire to leave the school, but gives up that thought early on in the class trial.
