This ability also allowed him to precisely gauge the regenerative abilities and weaknesses of most demons, like Enmu. Kyojuro was also able to perceive Tanjiro's injuries and torn blood vessel accurately, which allowed him to teach him how to plug up that wound and prevent him from dying of blood loss. Furthermore, he was able to detect malice in Enmu's spells and prevented himself from getting incapacitated. --- Tengen Rank: Sound Hashira Appearance: Tengen is a very tall, broad-shouldered, and incredibly muscular man with lightly-tanned skin and white hair. His hair is of an uneven length, the longest strands reaching his shoulders, and is styled with three more notable, shorter clumps arching up to fall as bangs between his eyes and on either side of his face. He has thin, dark fuchsia eyes that appear to slant inwards, each with one long eyelash flowing to the far side of his face. He also painted his fingernails and toenails with claret and bright green color. He is considered very attractive as noted by many women and even by Zenitsu; this has led him to use his looks as a tool for his missions whenever persuasion is necessary. During his service as the Sound Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Tengen wore a highly customized, sleeveless version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform. His uniform was black in the manga and tinted a deep dark turquoise in the anime. It consisted of a sleeveless button-up jacket with a stand-up collar, gold buttons, and a shirt pocket on the left breast, with the kanji for Destroy (滅めつ Metsu?) engraved on the back of the uniform. Underneath, he wore a white sleeveless collared undershirt. The uniform was secured with a white belt at the waist and included matching tattsuke-hakama pants tucked into burgundy cloth wrappings around his calves. On his feet, he wore white zōri sandals with white straps and dark turquoise tabi socks to match his uniform. Tengen is accessorized flamboyantly, wearing two thick, golden rings around his upper arms and a pair of fingerless purple gloves. These gloves were secured with two silver bands around the middle fingers and fastened at the wrists with two thinner golden rings on each side. As well as this, Tengen sports a white head-wrap that covers his hair, leaving only a thin ponytail visible to fall behind his head from between its layers. Adorning his forehead was a striking pale gray headband, embellished with six pale pink gemstones—three large ones arranged in a horizontal row across the center, and three smaller ones arranged in a triangular formation on the far left side. From each side of this headdress hung chains of smaller pale blue gemstones, which framed his face like earrings or decorative tassels. Additionally, Tengen wore distinctive red eye makeup on his left eye, composed of alternating large and small dots that extended inward toward the corner of his eye. He also wears a pair of two golden cuff earrings on each ears. Personality: Tengen is an eccentric and flashy individual, always wanting to be "flamboyant", possessing a need for everything to be flashy and outstanding, even proclaiming that he is the god of flashiness and festivals. This is shown when he gets excited imagining how "flamboyant" it would be if Tanjiro Kamado's blood vessels exploded, and tries to forcefully haul Aoi Kanzaki off to the Entertainment District with him so she can unwillingly help him with a dangerous mission, even spanking her. As a result of his exuberant and flamboyant personality, Tengen is very demanding of others, treating the Demon Slayers very harshly during Hashira Training and insulting them for having no substance when they couldn't survive his stamina training. Furthermore, he also abhors the idea of unflashy things, as shown when the Hashira openly expresses his hate for plainness. He is usually seen talking boastfully, proclaiming that he is "god" in front of Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke, even calling them trash and declaring that if he tells them to become dogs, they must become dogs, and if he tells them to become monkeys, they must become monkeys. Tengen even demands for the trio to always humor and stoop down to him, imploring him for favours and always doing their best to flatter him. This was also shown in his initial encounter with Upper Rank Six, Gyutaro, proclaiming that he was in tip-top shape despite being severely poisoned. However, Tengen does possess an extremely caring side that is masked under his flamboyant façade, one he only shows to those that are extremely close to him, most notably his three wives, Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru, who Tengen is shown to truly love and care for, praising and encouraging Makio and Suma after their undercover mission and assuring Hinatsuru that she has completed her mission and telling her to get out of harm's way. Furthermore, Tengen also declares that they must value their lives above all others as they are precious to him. This is especially shown when Gyutaro gags Hinatsuru with his hand, Tengen panics and furiously yells at the demon to leave his wife alone. After the events in Yoshiwara, Tengen also becomes more friendly towards Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke. Breathing Style: Sound Breathing: A Breathing Style that Tengen created himself. Sound Breathing seemingly combines Tengen's heightened sense of hearing, his Musical Score technique, his shinobi expertise as well as his dual Nichirin cleavers and his anti-demon bombs. Skills: Enhanced Hearing: Tengen has a heightened sense of hearing similar to Zenitsu Agatsuma. This ability allows him to easily hear noises deep underground, and he uses it to immediately discern that there are channels of underground tunnels and caves directly beneath him when he was looking for Tanjiro Kamado and Daki. He also uses his superhuman hearing the monitor all the activity in Yoshiwara in an attempt to find the location of the demons dwelling in the area. Tengen also used his hearing to discern whether people are still present on a floor in a building. Echolocation: As an advanced application of his hearing, Tengen also possesses echolocation. When trying to find the location of a battle underground, he analyzed the sounds reflected and resonated through the air by the walls of the caverns, and accurately locates and is even able to guess the number of people inside the tunnels by listening to the sound bouncing from their physical bodies. Musical Score: A technique Tengen developed using his heightened sense of hearing and battle analysis to work in conjunction with his Sound Breathing, where he analyzes combat maneuvers and deconstructs the rhythm of his enemies' attacks into sound, reading them like sheet music to the point every fight becomes like a song. This allows Tengen to gain an understanding of his opponent's habits and tactics, as well as their blind spots, giving him the edge against them. While it takes a long time for Tengen to construct the score, once completed, Tengen was able to fight Gyutaro on even terms despite having lost his left hand, but due to the poison he was pushed to the limit and was unable to strike at the Upper Rank's neck. --- Shinobu Rank: Insect Hashira Appearance: Shinobu was a petite, young woman of slender build and pale skin complexion, which sharply contrasts with her pink lipstick. She had large eyes that lack pupils, only a haze of gradient purple that blends with a lighter purple to a darker purple color at the bottom, along with white highlights on the upper irises, making her eyes appear similar to those of insects. Her eyes are framed with black eyelashes. She had wavy hair that was raven-black, fading into a dark purple hue at the ends. Her hair is styled at the back of her head into a flat yakai-maki bun, fastened with a white butterfly ornament that consists of a light purple trim on the outer side of the wings, along with turquoise speckled spots. She had center-split, ear-length, voluminous curtain bangs that flow down to frame the sides of her face, with two slightly thinner chin-length locks of hair in front of her ears below them. By the time of Hashira Training, both her bangs and locks are visibly more refined and slightly longer. She stood out among the more physically imposing Hashira due to her diminutive stature and small frame, which was later reinforced by her mentioning that she does not possess enough physical strength to decapitate a demon as the others do. Shinobu wore a dark purple-tinted variation of the standard Demon Slayer uniform. It consists of a button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, featuring gold buttons and a shirt pocket on the left breast, with the kanji for Destroy engraved on the back of the uniform. Beneath the jacket, she wore a white long-sleeved collared undershirt. Her long, saggy tattsuke-hakama pants are also tinted dark purple and are fastened at the waist with a white belt. Her legs were wrapped with a pair of unique white kyahan—with butterfly-patterned design—that fades from pale turquoise to pink gradient around the lower legs, and tied securely with white ribbons. Her tabi socks match the dark purple color of her uniform. Over her uniform, she wore a distinctive white haori that once belonged to her late older sister, Kanae. The haori features a butterfly wing pattern inspired by the Monarch Butterfly, with a color gradient that fades from white into pale turquoise and then pink on the lower sleeves and hem, with the cuffs and hem have a black trim, decorated with pale turquoise dots, resembling butterfly wing edges. For footwear, she wore white zōri sandals with purple straps, and she conceals a hidden blade in the right sandal—used as a last resort weapon. Personality: Shinobu displayed a bright, friendly and cheerful demeanor, always having an easygoing smile on her face regardless of the situation she was in. However, her outward behavior was shown very quickly to be a façade. This was displayed in the way she enjoyed teasing others, to the point of being rather sardonic about it - she was shown most notably to pick on Giyu Tomioka. Despite her relaxed exterior and her initial claim of wanting to get along with demons, she could be rather cruel towards them, which was seen when she killed Spider Demon Daughter after giving her false hope of helping her, and immediately attempting to kill Nezuko Kamado without giving her brother Tanjiro a chance to prove that she was harmless to humans. Later on, she was shown to have a more compassionate side towards the Kamado siblings after hearing their full story. Shinobu was shown to be unabashed, as she paid no heed to Murata's lack of clothes despite his own embarrassment. She also showed to be very strict when she needed to, as she scolded Inosuke when he broke the window, and burned revealing uniforms tailored by Masao Maeda, who intended them to be worn by her and other girls. It is later revealed that Shinobu's outwardly calm, tranquil disposition was worn as a mask, as she held an intense hatred for demons due to the loss of her beloved older sister, Kanae at a young age, along with the deaths of her parents, almost all of her Tsuguko, and the families of her apprentices at the Butterfly Mansion. This hatred was so strong that she was in a near-constant state of extreme anger, which was sensed by Tanjiro when the two held a conversation. Her desire for revenge rendered her unable to live the normal life her elder sister had wished upon her, instead devoting the entirety of her energy to defeating demons. Breathing Style: Insect Breathing: A Breathing Style created by Shinobu, who designed it to compensate for her lack of physical strength to cut off a demon's head. Combined with the lethality of her poison, this Style allowed her to defeat countless demons, and even battle Upper Rank Two, Doma. Skills: Extrasensory Perception: As a Hashira, Shinobu possesses incredibly honed senses, being able to pick up things outside the normal range of perception, such as discerning the aura of a demon's from a human's, such as being able to discern that Nezuko was a demon on her first meeting with the siblings, even when she was a distance away from them. Furthermore, Shinobu's senses happen to have refined enough to discern and perceive how many humans Spider Demon Daughter killed and consumed, even when the human corpses are covered from her eyesight due to Daughter's silk thread cocooning them, and pick up the scent of blood from afar, as shown when she smells blood even before entering Upper Rank 2, Doma's Eternal Paradise Faith cult and witnessing him consuming his disciple. Lastly, albeit post-facto, Shinobu detects and perceives the Upper Rank's techniques, and critically analyzes and assesses them, further deeming that breathing itself was dangerous due to his Blood Demon Art of frozen mist. --- Tomioka Rank: Water Hashira Appearance: Giyu is a fairly tall young man of a lean muscular stature and pale complexion, who is almost always seen wearing a stoic expression. He has choppy raven-black hair of uneven lengths, with jaw length side-bangs, a low messy ponytail at the base of his neck, and bangs falling over his eyes in a choppy fringe. His eyes are sharp and moderately large, having irises that are a lapis blue color, fading into a lighter blue color at the lower part of the irises, and navy blue pupils. His irises are sometimes completely opaque and empty, just in lapis blue color, and are framed by thin eyebrows. Giyu wears the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, colored black in the manga and tinted charcoal blue in the anime. It consists of a button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, featuring gold buttons and a shirt pocket on the left breast, with the kanji for Destroy engraved on the back of the uniform. Beneath the jacket, he wears a white long-sleeved collared undershirt. The uniform is fastened at the waist with a white belt and includes a pair of matching tattsuke-hakama pants, which are wrapped at the calves with buttoned white kyahan. On his feet, he wears tabi socks that match the charcoal blue tone of his uniform, along with white zōri sandals with navy blue straps. Over this, Giyu wears a distinctive haori that is split down the middle into two contrasting halves: the right half being a carmine color, the left half decorated in a traditional geometrically patterned rhombi - consisting of green, dark green, orange, and yellow. These haori halves are sentimental mementos, with the red side formerly belonging to his late older sister, Tsutako Tomioka, and the patterned side to his deceased friend and fellow apprentice, Sabito. Personality: Giyu is a man of strong equanimity, always wearing a calm and stern expression on his face. Having a stoic personality, and possessing a very strong sense of justice and responsibility, he had no tolerance towards those who don't know their own limitations and throw away their lives.Despite letting Nezuko Kamado live due to Tanjiro Kamado's determination, he shows zero hesitation when killing other demons and has no respect or mercy towards them like most Demon Slayers. Even so, Giyu violated the Demon Slayer Corps' code of conduct without hesitation to protect Nezuko during Shinobu's attempt to kill her. This implies that he doesn't completely despise demons as some other Hashira do, and is willing to make an exception for a demon by letting them live if they don't kill and eat humans. This shows that he is more pragmatic and impartial in dealing with demons rather letting his hatred cloud his judgement. Due to his aloof personality, Giyu is not close to his fellow Hashira. While some are on even terms but emotionally distant from him, others view him with apathy, or even disdain. Sanemi Shinazugawa and Obanai Iguro were particularly contemptuous of the Water Hashira due to unfoundedly misreading his aloofness as arrogance. Giyu also expressed surprise when Shinobu Kocho mentioned that he is hated by the others; despite this, he remains on good terms with her, with both having a great deal of history together. Breathing Style: Water Breathing (水みずの呼こ吸きゅう Mizu no kokyū?): A Breathing Style taught to him by the Water Hashira before him, Sakonji Urokodaki. As the Water Hashira, Giyu is his generation's most skilled Water Breathing user. Giyu has completely mastered this swordsmanship style, to the point that he created an entirely new technique within the Breathing Style, impressing Akaza who had fought Water Hashira in the past. Skills: No special skills. --- Muichiro Rank: Mist Hashira Appearance: Muichiro is a boy of fair skin complexion, short stature, and a lean-muscular build, being described as thinner and smaller than Tanjiro, but deceptively strong. He has straight, waist-length hair, transitioning from raven-black to turquoise. He wears his hair loose with two clumps protruding slightly from each side of his head, a set of marginally shorter hair left down to frame his face, and unruly bangs over his forehead. He also possesses large, empty-looking turquoise irises with a teal center. He is identical in appearance to his older twin brother Yuichiro. Following his meeting with Tanjiro Kamado, and the return of his childhood memories, Muichiro's once empty looking eyes seem to now have a hopeful glimmer that is accompanied with a more upbeat and cheery expression, reminiscent of his former demeanor before the death of Yuichiro. Muichiro wears the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, which is black in the manga and tinted dark teal in the anime. The uniform includes a button-up jacket with a stand-up collar, featuring gold buttons and the kanji for Destroy engraved on the back of the uniform, with a shirt pocket on the left breast. Beneath the jacket, he wears a white long-sleeved collared undershirt, though not visible. However, unlike the standard shirt-like cuffed sleeves, Muichiro’s uniform has longer, looser sleeves that are more reminiscent of a kimono, adding a flowing, ethereal quality to his appearance. Instead of the typical tattsuke-hakama pants wrapped with kyahan, Muichiro wears his hakama in the umanori style—a more traditional, horseback-riding cut—which, combined with his oversized sleeves, gives his entire outfit a loose and oversized silhouette. His uniform is fastened at the waist with a white belt. For footwear, he wears dark teal tabi socks and a pair of white zōri sandals with teal straps. Personality: Muichiro is an air-headed individual who seems to constantly wander off in thought and is unable to focus on anything. Extremely impassive - and at times obtuse - he tends to think only for himself and operates on logic alone, never letting emotions guide him. This makes him seem apathetic and indifferent. However, Tanjiro Kamado sensed that Muichiro wasn't being apathetic on purpose as he didn't emanate any animosity. Despite his mostly uncaring and unserious demeanor, he has been shown to become serious when it is required and is intensely devoted to his position as the Demon Slayer Corps' Mist Hashira. Additionally, he seems to display a cold and arrogant side, as shown by him violently shaking down Kotetsu, calling him stupid, claiming that his time as a Hashira was important, more so than his own, and that all that the swordsmiths could do was make weapons. Despite this, Muichiro doesn't seem to be indifferent towards Kagaya Ubuyashiki, most likely due to his immense respect for his master. Breathing Style: Mist Breathing. A Breathing Style Muichiro learnt from a Mist Breathing cultivator. As the Mist Hashira, Muichiro is his generation's most skilled Mist Breathing user. He became so proficient with Mist Breathing that he even created a new Mist Breathing technique, which ultimately enabled him to beat Gyokko. His skill with this Breathing Style impressed Kokushibo, who implied that his proficiency in this swordsmanship style was beyond his expectations. Moreover, Muichiro wears loose and oversized clothes that hide his limbs from his enemy's line of sight to obscure his movements when using Mist Breathing, further improving the unique strengths of this Breathing Style. Skills: Extrasensory Perception: Muichiro has extremely honed senses, being able to pick up things outside the normal range of perception, such as discerning the aura of a demon's from a human's. In his attempt to help Kozo Kanamori and Kotetsu reach the former's work shed for his new blade, Muichiro was able to sense the presence of Gyokko hidden in the bushes without seeing him, which surprised even the Upper Rank and earned him his compliments. --- Mitsuri Rank: Love Hashira Appearance: Mitsuri is a curvaceous young woman of pale skin complexion, whose slender, graceful build belies her deceptive muscular strength. She stands slightly taller than average. She has large, round, bright pale green eyes with a darker green center, long black eyelashes, and many notable white sparkles reflecting light off of them, a small beauty mark beneath each of them, and light pink lipstick. Mitsuri has long and visibly thick pink hair that fades into a lime green color at the halfway point, which she wears in three thick braids. She has five shorter, choppy clumps hanging over her face as voluminous bangs, the tips lime green as well. Personality: Mitsuri is a very emotional, passionate, and jovial individual who constantly compliments and swoons over her comrades in her head, likely a contributing factor towards her nickname as "the Hashira of Love". Although she can be shy and is easily flustered, she is shown to be a very kind and caring person, always showing others her love, which befits her Hashira title. Besides her rather emotional personality, Mitsuri can come off as somewhat childlike at times and is prone to exaggerated over-reactions. For example, when she is asked to explain the process of obtaining the Demon Slayer Mark, she describes it using bizarre onomatopoeia. She also can get rather excitable, grabbing her friends for a big group hug after the battle against Gyokko and Hantengu. Breathing Style: Love Breathing. A Breathing Style Mitsuri created herself based on her experience using Flame Breathing, from being a student of Kyojuro Rengoku. Love Breathing incorporates elements of Mitsuri's superhuman flexibility and her unique whip-like Nichirin Sword. Using this Breathing Style, she can unleash attacks that cover a wide range of motion as well as long ranges that a normal katana would be unable to accomplish. Flame Breathing: A Breathing Style that Mitsuri learnt when training under the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku. However, although Mitsuri has learnt it, she was not as skillful with it and could not fight to her fullest using it. Thus, she developed Love Breathing, a Breathing Style more suited to her that could properly make use of her strengths. Skills: Abnormal Muscular Constitution: Mitsuri has a special muscular composition, making her muscles eight times denser than that of a regular human. While her limbs are thin, they possess unbelievable strength and endurance capable of maintaining her body's structure after a point-blank sound attack from Zohakuten. To maintain the composition of her body, Mitsuri eats as much as three sumo wrestlers. --- Obanai Rank: Serpent Hashira Appearance: Obanai is a young man of short stature, pale skin complexion, and a lean, muscular build. He has straight-edged, raven-black hair of varying lengths, with the longest reaching down to his shoulders, while the shortest stop at his cheekbones, which he wears down with two shorter strands hanging between his eyes. His eyes are almond-shaped and tilted upwards on the far sides, and are uniquely colored due to Obanai possessing heterochromia. His right eye is yellow with a black pupil, while his left eye is teal, with the lower rim of the iris being a lighter shade. He is partially blind, barely being able to see out of his right eye. Obanai's mouth is usually hidden with white bandages over his lower face to hide his large facial scars, which were the result of his family horrifically cutting open his mouth to resemble that of a snake's gape Obanai wears the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, which is black in the manga and tinted a deep koamaru color in the anime. The uniform consists of a button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, adorned with gold buttons, a shirt pocket on the left breast, and the kanji for Destroy engraved on the back of the uniform. Beneath the jacket, he wears a white long-sleeved collared undershirt. The uniform is fastened at the waist with a white belt and paired with traditional tattsuke-hakama pants in the same koamaru hue. Over his uniform, Obanai wears his signature black-and-white vertically striped haori, with the hem and cuffs are striped horizontal ways rather than vertically, which covers his hands. For legwear, instead of the standard kyahan, Obanai wraps his lower legs in white bandages, giving the visual impression of traditional kyahan wraps. He also wears another set of white bandages around his lower face. His footwear consists of white zōri sandals with purple-blue straps, worn over koamaru-colored tabi socks to match the color tint of his uniform. He is also always seen with his white snake, Kaburamaru, wrapped around his shoulders. Personality: Obanai is a very harsh and strict individual who shows no concern for those who do not abide by the rules of the Demon Slayer Corps. His expectations for his fellow Demon Slayers are quite unrealistic, as he was seen berating Tengen Uzui for suffering heavy wounds against the lowest Upper Rank whom he called the "weakest" and telling him to "fight to the death" after Tengen insists on retiring. Tengen's retirement also highlights Obanai's devotion to the future of the Demon Slayer Corps. He does this often at others' expense such as when he tied up lower-ranked Demon Slayers and used them as obstacles during Hashira Training - all for relatively petty reasons. He also sees the newer Demon Slayer recruits as weak and incapable of improvement, expressing extreme surprise when Tengen informs him that Tanjiro Kamado survived the battle with Daki and Gyutaro. Obanai has a rather prominent habit of pointing at people with his finger in an accusatory manner while berating or talking unfavorably about someone. Like all the Hashira, Obanai has a great deal of respect for Kagaya. Breathing Style: Serpent Breathing. A Breathing Style Obanai created and mastered. This swordsmanship style makes use of twists and turns similar to how a serpent slithers to attack in strange ways. Obanai also learnt to incorporate his pet snake, Kaburamaru, into this Breathing Style, extending his physical abilities. Skills: Obanai, having always been partially blind in his right eye, developed a combat technique utilizing his snake Kaburamaru. Kaburamaru possesses a unique ability that allows him to read and predict a target's attacks, then relay that information to Obanai. Kaburamaru also seems to be capable of understanding human speech and emotions. --- Inosuke Rank: Hinoe, which is the third-highest rank for a standard Demon Slayer, Appearance: Inosuke is a young man of average height and pale skin complexion with an extremely toned and muscular build for his age. In sharp contrast to this, he has an incredibly pretty and feminine face, which made Zenitsu almost believe that he was a girl. He has large, wide eyes that are framed by an array of long eyelashes, their iris a dark to soft pale green with black pupils that has a small, white dot on the center of the pupils, thin eyebrows, and what could be a small, well-mannered mouth. His thick, raven-black hair reaches just past his shoulders, fading into blue at the tips and forming an unruly and uneven fringe that falls just above his eyes, puffing out before curving and thinning towards his forehead. Inosuke, in his unique fashion, has customized his Demon Slayer uniform to suit his personal style. His altered attire consists of baggy hakama pants in a dark gray-blue shade, secured at his hips with a thick belt adorned with fluffy brown deer fur. Unlike his fellow companions, Inosuke forgoes wearing a haori. Instead of the customary leg wraps, he opts for knee-high socks made from bear hide in a black color tone, which serve as a base for the sandals he wears. Notably, his heels and toes are left exposed. However, the most distinctive aspect of his appearance is the gray, hollowed-out boar's head that he wears as a mask, with sky blue eyes with darker blue irises and black pupils, a pink snout, and a shade of pink on both of the upper portion of the ears. Inosuke has modified the boar's head, altering the eyes to allow him to see while wearing it. Personality: Inosuke is short-tempered, confrontational, abrasive, and proud. He always likes to think he is the strongest fighter in a situation, constantly challenging most people he comes across and wanting others to respect and praise him for his skill. This often leads him into unnecessary danger since he tends to overestimate his abilities in comparison to who he is fighting and refuses to accept when he's been defeated, which can be seen when Giyu Tomioka has to tie him up after his fight with Father of the Spider Family to prevent him challenging the Hashira to a fight while still severely injured from his previous battle. This constant wanting to be the best can also cause Inosuke to be very provocative, as he often tries to goad others, most prominently Tanjiro Kamado, into fighting him, although in the case of the latter he usually fails due to Tanjiro's obliviously kind nature. Inosuke possesses a rather vengeful side to his personality, especially when the people he cares about get harmed. He refused to help the injured train engineer who stabbed Tanjiro and was convinced he was right in letting him die, only helping him when Tanjiro begged Inosuke to do so and forgave the man. He immediately attacked Doma upon learning he killed and devoured Shinobu, and he became truly angered when he found out Doma was also the one who orphaned him, challenging the Upper Rank by himself and declaring he would create hell for him. Additionally, in the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, he challenged the Demon King directly and demanded he atone himself by dying for mutilating and nearly killing all the other Demon Slayers. Due to him having been raised by boars, Inosuke has also been shown to possess little understanding of normal human interaction, at least at the time of his debut, as he seems to frequently assume that people who approach him want to attack him and doesn't appear to understand the kindness others show him. He also cannot read or write and struggles to say people's names correctly, saying Monchiro instead of Tanjiro or Monitsu instead of Zenitsu. In part due to his lacking understanding of the norms and customs of people, Inosuke can be rude without malicious or outwardly negative intentions, and he initially treated everyone as an enemy at first. However, as he continues to learn and grow along in his Demon Slayer career, Inosuke is influenced more and more by Tanjiro's ways and becomes more accustomed to affection and generosity. Breathing Style: Beast Breathing: A Breathing Style distantly derived from Wind Breathing and the personal creation of Inosuke Hashibira himself after living in the mountains and fighting for survival. It is a self-taught style that uses and blend several atributes of different wild animals that Inosuke had observed in the mountains as a basis for his style of attacking. Skills: Enhanced Somatosensation: After growing up in the mountains, Inosuke developed a sharp and incredibly sensitive sense of touch. His skin can even feel the smallest vibrations in the air. Inosuke incorporated this ability into his Spatial Awareness technique, where he uses his acute sense of touch to locate all the demons spread out across a giant mountain and later uses it to detect the location of the Father of the Spider Family. By using this ability, he can tell if anyone is looking at him, especially if they have any hostile intentions. He can even pinpoint the exact location they are looking at, which gives him an edge in combat. His sensitive skin also gave him an edge against Doma, as his sense of touch naturally steered him away from inhaling his dangerous frost. Extrasensory Perception: Inosuke's instincts and intuition are honed to such extremes that he possesses a form of extrasensory perception that allows him to detect things outside the normal range of perception. Inosuke can sense how serious his opponents are, as seen when he sensed that Daki's sash attacks were relaxing a little bit, which gave him an opening to attack, and how strong Akaza and Kyojuro Rengoku were. He was also able to sense a person's malice and intent to kill even when they were outside his range of sight, which prevented him from getting killed by Gyutaro's scythe attack. Inosuke was also able to sense that Daki's obi had living people trapped inside it, which prevented him from accidentally harming them when fighting. --- Tanjiro Rank: Hinoe (the third highest rank for regular demon slayers) Appearance: Tanjiro is a young man of average height with lightly tanned skin and an athletic, muscular build. His hair is ruffled and black with red tips (appearing black that turns to burgundy at the tips in the anime), and is swept back to reveal his forehead. His eyes are wide and dark red, fading into a burgundy hue with white pupils that appear lighter toward the lower section of the iris, while the upper portion is markedly darker. He bears a distinct scar on the upper left of his forehead, first seen when his mother took him to watch his father perform the Hinokami Kagura dance. Originally, it was a light pink, patch-like mark — an injury he received after saving one of his siblings from a hot brazier. It remained so until his battle with the Hand Demon during Final Selection, after which it developed into a dark red, jagged mark. Personality: Tanjiro is very kind by nature and has been described by others as having very gentle eyes and a compassionate persona. He exhibits a great deal of determination and will not give up once he has a goal to achieve; the best example of this is his relentless quest to find a cure for Nezuko. Even though he is relatively strong on his own, Tanjiro isn't opposed to asking others for help when he needs it. He is very protective of his friends, and especially so of his younger sister. However, despite his kind and understanding nature, Tanjiro does have a limit to his tolerance and has a distaste for rudeness and cowardice, as he easily becomes annoyed by Zenitsu Agatsuma's constant whining and angered by Inosuke Hashibira's barbaric actions. Tanjiro is direct and very honest, taking everyone's words with sincerity and seriousness. Upon hearing Tengen Uzui claim he is a god, he asked what area he was the god of. He has difficulty lying, and doing so causes his face to contort severely as his honest nature clashes with the insincerity of his words. Having grown up in the countryside of Japan, Tanjiro has no experience of life in large urban areas. During his missions to Asakusa and Yoshiwara, he stared in wonder at the bright lights enveloping the cities. He naively believed the Mugen train was perhaps the land's guardian spirit before being corrected by Zenitsu, and, just like Inosuke, he does not know what a red-light district is. Under Tanjiro's rather kind and friendly shell is a person with a growing fire of rage and vengeance inside of them. This side of him leaks out when Tanjiro first confronts Muzan Kibutsuji, ready to take out his sword and attack him. When Muzan escapes, Tanjiro releases his frustration and declares he will be the one to kill Muzan. On Mount Natagumo, when the captured Demon Slayers had their necks snapped by the Mother Spider Demon's threads, Tanjiro showed noticeable anger that even Inosuke sensed. Upon seeing Daki smirking after witnessing her slaughter innocent people indiscriminately with her sashes, he seethed with rage and confronted her alone. Moreover, Tanjiro became enraged when encountering Akaza, the demon that killed Kyojuro Rengoku; again, he screamed Akaza's name when he charged to attack and was filled with fury when the demon claimed that he was glad Kyojuro had died. This side of Tanjiro is fully exemplified after Muzan's comparison of himself to a natural disaster while demanding the Demon Slayers cease from seeking further revenge against him; Tanjiro calmly told the demon that he can no longer be allowed to exist any further. In the face of irrational evil, Tanjiro shows a more cold and terrifying side of himself, acting more violently towards his opponents as a result. Breathing Style: Water Breathing: Taught to him by Sakonji Urokodaki, a previous Water Hashira and Water Breathing Cultivator, this was Tanjiro's initial Breathing Style. He became extremely proficient in it, to the point where he had surpassed Sabito, one of Sakonji's best students, and could modify pre-existing forms to suit his circumstances. He also used Water Breathing to take on two members of the Twelve Kizuki, namely Rui and Enmu. However, due to his body not being suited to Water Breathing's techniques, Tanjiro decided to switch to the Hinokami Kagura as his main Breathing Style. Despite this, Tanjiro has not abandoned what he was taught, combining Water Breathing with the Hinokami Kagura, due to the strain Hinokami Kagura placed on his body, in order to have stronger strikes than when he used Water Breathing alone and move for longer periods than if he used Hinokami Kagura alone. He did this to save Hinatsuru from Gyutaro, and later used it once again inside the Infinity Castle to slay dozens of demons. Hinokami Kagura: During his near-death experience in his battle with Rui, Tanjiro awakened this in a memory of his father teaching him this Breathing Style. As his body was more suited to the Hinokami Kagura, he quickly overpowered the Lower Rank demon. However, the sheer force and fatigue it placed on his untrained body caused him to weaken significantly when using it; thus he, only saved it for last-ditch attempts to beat his adversaries. Skills: Tanjiro possesses an extremely sharp sense of smell. Before becoming a Demon Slayer, Tanjiro was known in a village as a boy who had an extremely strong sense of smell. He is able to pick up even the most subtle of scents and track their location with terrifying accuracy over long distances. It is strong enough for him to smell the Opening Thread, the slight pause in an enemy's movement that allows him an opening in which to strike. His sense of smell is so keen that he can perceive his surroundings through scent alone. Extrasensory Perception: Through his heightened sense of smell, Tanjiro can perceive things outside the normal range of perception, like the intentions, feelings, and thoughts of other creatures, even animals such as insects and birds. He can also sense the aura and presences of demons and even tell their strength level at a glance by how disgusting and rotten their scent is. --- Nezuko Appearance: Nezuko is a young girl with fair skin, visibly large, prominent fangs, a slender build, and sharp, stiletto nails with a base color of light pink and ombre fading to a red-orange color at the end where they point. Her hair is long, black, and wavy. It reaches just below her waist, turning a flame-orange color as it passes her elbows, and appears to be crimped into large, straight ridges, worn side-swept drastically to her left. She has soft-looking, pink eyes that appear a lighter color around the rims of their irises and a persian pink center; they slanted downwards toward the sides of her face and framed by notably long eyelashes. In the manga, Nezuko can sometimes be shown with more than one bow. According to Tanjiro, Nezuko was known as a great beauty in their home town. She wears a light pink, short-sleeve kimono with an asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern, the lining a paler pink layered with the white wavy yuban underneath as a medium-length trailing skirt kimono to freely move as a demon; this, the white clothes lowly cover her knees then goes down to almost her ankles making a open window, secured by a red and white-chequered hanhaba obi with an orange-threaded obijime and a green obiage. Over this, she sports a long, dark-brown haori that reaches her calves, as well as a pair of zōri with pink straps and white tabi socks, wrapped with thick pieces of black material resembling kyahan. Nezuko also wears a small pink ribbon on the left side of her head to keep her hair out of her face, along with the bamboo muzzle Giyu Tomioka gave her, which is secured around her jaw with a strip of red cloth. Personality: Since becoming a demon, Nezuko appears to have become rather brazen and does not seem to fear fighting; she fiercely guards her brother as well as her allies. She has also developed a strong willpower, which can be seen through her refusal to consume human flesh or blood, even in cases of extreme injury or exposure to human blood, which can be seen when she refuses Sanemi Shinazugawa after he attempts to lure her into biting him with his Marechi blood. Her strong willpower remains even when she is no longer a demon, as shown when she willingly leaps in front of Inosuke to protect him from her own brother, who had become a demon and was attempting to kill those around him. Though she could have been killed, Nezuko did not hesitate to protect her brother. Demon Features: Abnormal Demon Physiology: Nezuko has several unique traits that set her apart from all other demons. Most notably, Nezuko can continuously restore her power without consuming any human blood, like any other demon would need to do. Instead, she recovers her strength through sleep alone, though she would have to spend a lot of time sleeping in order to recuperate and regain her power. Moreover, Nezuko has an extraordinary growth rate, as shown multiple times when she grows stronger without any training or consuming humans. This ability is shown to trigger even in the midst of battle and with huge power boosts. Her rapid growth in power was first displayed during her battle against Susamaru; though her foot was initially blown off by the Temari Demon's ball attack, upon regenerating, she was able to take the force of her attack and engage the demon in a back-and-forth skirmish that she was even able to come out of triumphant. Advanced Demon Form: Nezuko has the ability to enter a berserk state where she becomes more demonic in appearance, transforming into an adult version of herself with vine-like tattoos that circle her body and a single horn protruding from her right forehead side. Nezuko's physical capabilities in this state are drastically increased to the point where she could sever Daki's limbs by stomping on them and kick her extremely far distances, destroying multiple buildings in the process. Her regenerative abilities also become on par with those of the Upper Ranks of the Twelve Kizuki. When she first awakened this ability in her fight with Daki, she became frenzied in battle, lost her usual restraint to human blood, and only reverted back to normal when Tanjiro sang her a lullaby. She eventually became able to transform into her Advanced Demon Form while maintaining her usual composure and keeping herself from feeding on or attacking humans during the battle in the Swordsmith Village. Sunlight Immunity: During her battle with Hantengu, she suddenly managed to develop immunity to sunlight, allowing her to be active regardless of whether she was in the sun or not. Blood Control: In addition to her Blood Demon Art, Nezuko has shown in her Advanced Demon Form that she has control over her own blood's viscosity. When her limbs and head were severed and she was going to be attacked by Daki further, Nezuko managed to control her limbs and head by congealing and solidifying the blood spraying from them before the streams could break apart. She was able to command her limbs to grab and stop Daki's sashes, and, even though it was done with floating, severed limbs connected by blood, she was able to do it with such strength that the sashes were stopped dead in their tracks. She was then able to pull all of her limbs back together through those blood streams, allowing her body to regenerate. Immense Regeneration: As a demon, Nezuko has enhanced regenerative abilities that allow her to heal in the blink of an eye. When she first became a demon, her regeneration was relatively slow compared to other demons, taking a few moments to heal her wounds. However, once in her awakened state, her regeneration ability evolved to the point where it matched the caliber of the Upper Ranks of the Twelve Kizuki, allowing her to reconnect her whole torso and body parts as well as regrow her arms and legs instantly. Daki noted that Nezuko's regeneration surpassed her own. Size Alteration: Upon being transformed into a demon, Nezuko displayed the basic ability to change and alter her body's size and height. She was able to shrink herself into the physical size of a small child in order to fit inside a small box or a basket, and she could also enlarge herself into a much bigger form. Skills: Combustible Blood: Nezuko's Blood Demon Art allows her to combust her blood into pink-colored flames at will. Activating it required Nezuko to physically bleed from open wounds, inflicted by either demon opponents or herself via self-mutilation. Notable examples of the latter were when she ripped her arm off when wrestling with Karaku to splatter blood on him, and slid herself down Aizetsu's yari when impaled to douse him. Her flames have a special property that makes them exclusively harmful to demons, objects belonging to demons, and Blood Demon Arts while being completely harmless to humans and other objects. These flames can hamper the regeneration of other demons. This is shown when Daki's burns took much longer to heal than traditional wounds, and the emotional manifestations of Hantengu had their regeneration stalled after being decapitated with a Bright Red Nichirin Sword ignited by Nezuko's blood, with Karaku wailing about the pain. Nezuko's Blood Demon Art was also able to neutralize Gyutaro's poison to save Inosuke Hashibira and Tengen Uzui from dying. Her flames also have the ability to temporarily turn Nichirin Swords bright red, increasing the strength of attacks inflicted by them. A drawback to Nezuko's Blood Demon Art is that overuse of it can cause her to fall asleep. --- Zenitsu Rank: Hinoe. This is the third-highest rank in the standard Demon Slayer Corps hierarchy Appearance: Zenitsu is a young man of average height with fair skin, a muscular build, and downward-sloped, worried-looking eyes that fade from soft brown to a brilliant gold and golden, forked eyebrows that sharply fade into a warm orange color. He has short, yellow hair of varying lengths, cutting off squarely at the ends where it fades to a darker orange color, that falls in front of his face in uneven bangs, loosely resembling a bowl cut. Before he became a Demon Slayer, Zenitsu's hair was originally black, but it turned the color it is currently when he was struck by lightning during his training. Personality: Zenitsu is cowardly, pessimistic, weak-willed, insecure and anxious, often claiming that he doesn't have long to live due to the dangerous job of being a Demon Slayer. He has rather low self-esteem despite his talent and strength, even considering himself useless. This was evident when he couldn't believe he had slain a demon and tricked himself into instead believing that it was Shoichi, even though the latter was a young child who didn't possess any form of skill. Zenitsu is in a constant state of fear, and he frequently tries to run away at the sight of danger, claiming he wants to live a modest, normal life instead of that of a Demon Slayer. Due to this, Zenitsu screams and shouts a lot, much to the annoyance of the people around him. He is also shown to be pessimistic at times, especially during Hashira Training, where he lashed out at Tanjiro and Inosuke for viewing the training positively. In spite of his weaknesses, Zenitsu desires to live up to the expectations others have set for him and will try his hardest when he needs to. He holds great respect and admiration for his comrades and his deceased teacher, Jigoro Kuwajima, and his inner focus and drive to avenge him help to wash away his cowardice and second thoughts when he is in a pinch. Zenitsu also hates himself for how cowardly and incompetent he is, despite genuinely striving to better himself. Zenitsu is also shown to be something of a wannabe womanizer, stemming from a desire to not be single should he be killed. He appears to be severely needy for affection and approval by other people, traits which can be traced back to his younger years as a lonely orphan who was exploited emotionally by his former partners. Such desire influences him to hit on girls who he thinks are cute and asks them to marry him or wants them to care about him, much to their annoyance. He is shown to have perverted traits at times, evidently when he confronts Tanjiro and Inosuke during Rehabilitation Training where he draws attention to a girl’s physical features. This womanizing nature is shown to override his docile and quiet personality, particularly when he believes his comrades are "flirting" with cute girls; he would snap and go on long hysterical rants and complaints. Zenitsu is shown to have a strong attraction to Nezuko, openly expressing his affection for her and always rushing to protect her as if on instinct. During these times, he is also shown to become physically aggressive, lashing out at people in frustration. Though, despite his shallow behaviour in this regard, Zenitsu does show respect for women, telling Daki to let go of a girl that Daki nearly tore the ear off of and later demanding that she apologize, showing no fear at all in front of the enraged Upper Rank demon. Breathing Style: Thunder Breathing: A Breathing Style Zenitsu learned from a cultivator and his teacher, Jigoro Kuwajima, but failed to master all the forms in the swordsmanship style and could only be able to use the first of the six forms in it, known as Thunderclap and Flash. However, Zenitsu has become incredibly talented and proficient in fighting demons using the first form alone by quick drawing his Nichirin sword to sliced and even decapitate demons faster than they can react, even creating several variations and modifications to it and being able to successfully perform the technique even while unconscious, even helped slay Daki alongside Inosuke. Later, with more combat experience, Zenitsu even created an entire new form in Thunder Breathing, something only a Hashira, specifically Giyu and Muichiro, had done before. This form allowed him to turn the tables against his opponent, Kaigaku, and overpower and decapitate him instantly. Skills: Zenitsu possesses a heightened sense of hearing, allowing him to detect danger from even the faintest of sounds. With this, he has displayed the ability to decipher layers upon layers of sound in one of the brothels and even in the Infinity Castle. As another testament to his great sound detection ability, he can perfectly replicate any tune he hears on a shamisen and koto only after listening to it once for the first time, possessing perfect pitch despite having no musical background. Zenitsu's exceptional hearing also enables him to fight in his sleep, an impressive feat as he has no visual aid and can only use sound to discern his surroundings while keeping up with the attacks of demons. Extrasensory Perception: Zenitsu's hearing allows him to hear and pick up sounds outside the normal range of perception, such as detecting a person's thoughts, emotions, and even their personality, just by picking up the subtle sounds they produce. Moreover, he can discern a human from a demon by comparing the sounds they make, which also allows him to determine their strength to an extent, as Daki, an Upper Rank demon, has a more terrible sound than normal demons. --- Genya Rank: Hinoe. This is the third-highest rank in the standard Demon Slayer Corps hierarchy Appearance: Genya is a tall young man with a rough and feral appearance, with a fair skin tone, muscular build, inward-slanting, large almond-shaped eyes, featuring dark purple irises, a large, jagged scar that ran over his right cheekbone from his ear to the bridge of his nose, and a furrowed brow, giving him a constant angered expression. He also has numerous scars across his upper body and arms. He has long, black hair in a style of a mohawk with strands framing his neck. After joining the Demon Slayer Corps, Genya’s outfit consists of a dark olive-green variation of the standard Demon Slayer uniform. This includes a button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, silver buttons, and a shirt pocket on the left breast, with the kanji for Destroy engraved on the back of the uniform. A white long-sleeved collared undershirt is worn beneath the jacket, and the uniform is secured at the waist with a white belt. Over this, Genya wears his signature sleeveless, purple yukata, with the lower part of his yukata being a darker color tone. He also wears matching olive-green tattsuke-hakama pants and a pair of white jika-tabi on his feet. Personality: Genya was initially a hostile and ill-tempered individual; a "lone wolf" who refused any help from others and did not show any interest in being polite or having any manners. During Final Selection, he roughly handled Kanata Ubuyashiki by grabbing her hair and yelling at her due to his impatience, and he later provoked Tanjiro Kamado into directly confronting him with physical force as an attempt to diffuse the situation. His ill temper and brash way of speaking heavily resembles that of his older brother, Sanemi; both their behaviors mirrored that of their abusive father. However, although he was still brash, Genya mellowed with age. He became more open to cooperation during the battle against Hantengu, the Upper Rank Four, where he worked alongside Tanjiro, Mitsuri Kanroji, and Nezuko Kamado. After some time, he learned to become more sociable and less ill-mannered towards others, particularly towards Tanjiro and his friends. Genya also appears to be very confident in battle, telling Aizetsu to focus on him despite the latter already having stabbed Genya with his Yari, and later announced his name to the demon and declared that he is the one who will kill him. Breathing Style: Genya utilizes both a sawed-off, double-barreled shotgun with Nichirin cartridges and a Nichirin wakizashi placed on his rear hip. He is shown to excel at blending both long-range and short-range combat against demons. Against strong targets, Genya usually sneaks up on them to fire his shotgun and switches to using his wakizashi should he fail to do so. Genya demonstrates a high degree of marksmanship, being able to shoot off Sekido's head and blow off a huge portion of Karaku's and Aizetsu's necks. He also severed Sekido's hand even while being shocked by electricity. It has also been stated that he is more adept at using his shotgun than his wakizashi. Skills: Demon Consumption & Empowerment: Genya possesses unnaturally strong jaws and special digestive organs which allow him to tear off and consume the flesh of demons without any adverse effects and tear off even the likes of tree bark. By devouring demon flesh, Genya temporarily gains demonic characteristics, such as fangs, dark sclera, and unique yellow tips in his hair. Sometimes, presumably because of how concentrated a demon’s blood is, Genya can gain attributes related to the demon he devours, like when he gained Kokushibo’s eyes, hair, and Demon Slayer Mark, with his shotgun even gaining the appearance of the Upper Rank’s katana. More importantly, Genya is able to become stronger after consuming a demon, receiving a bigger boost in power depending on the strength of the demon he consumes. For the most part, Genya gets an enhanced physical constitution (which makes up for his inability to use Breathing Styles) along with potent regeneration. The physical attributes he gained enable him to out-speed Aizetsu and nearly decapitate him, as well as pick up enormous trees and hurl them over tremendous distances quite easily, and rip off the arms of Hantengu's hefty resentment clone, Urami. His regenerative abilities enable him to heal after Aizetsu's technique tore numerous holes straight through his body, and it even allowed him to survive after being cut in half by Kokushibo, a trait unqiue to him as according to the Upper Rank, a previous swordsman with a similar ability was killed after being bisected. --- Kanao Rank: Tsuguko to Shinobu Kocho Appearance: Kanao is a young woman of short stature, with large and gentle eyes of a dark lilac color that turns to a lighter color at the lower of the irises and a purple center along with notable bright light reflecting, that are framed by thick eyelashes, and pink lips in contrast to her pale complexion. She has medium-length, thin raven-black hair, tied into a side ponytail on the right of her head and fastened by a green butterfly ornament with a pink trim on the outer side of the wings, and decorated with white speckled spots, that once belonged to her adoptive sister Kanae. She has straight cut bangs, a straight fringe, and two loose, chin-length strands that curve downwards from above each of her ears. Kanao wears a slightly purple-tinted variation of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, consisting of a button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, featuring silver buttons and a shirt pocket on the left breast, with the kanji for Destroy engraved on the back of the uniform. Beneath the jacket, she wears a white long-sleeved collared undershirt. Rather than the traditional tattsuke-hakama pants, her uniform is customized with a knee-length pleated skirt in the same tinted color, secured with a white belt around her waist. Over time, however, the skirt was noticeably shortened to only cover her thighs, a modification implied to be the work of the notoriously lecherous uniform tailor, Masao Maeda. Draped over her uniform, she wears a short white cloak, fastened on one side by a dark pink triple knot. On her feet, she sports distinctive knee-high lace-up white boots with tan soles, heels, and toes. During the Final Selection, she wore a light pink yukata stop a white undershirt and a magenta pair of hakama pants. She also wore white ankle socks and pink sandals. Personality: At first, Kanao was an indecisive and quiet girl due to the abuse she endured in her past before meeting the Kocho sisters. She became unable to make decisions by herself and repressed her emotions as a defense mechanism, to the point that she believed she lacked emotions and desires. In order to help rectify this problem, Kanae gave her a coin to flip to decide which path to follow when she didn't know what to do. For many years, Kanao continued to show little emotion or desire. However, after seeing what demons did to Aoi Kanzaki, Naho Takada, Sumi Nakahara, Kiyo Terauchi and Shinobu's loved ones, Kanao developed a strong hatred against demons directly from her own will. Kanao, without the knowledge of her sisters, learned Flower Breathing by watching Kanae and undertook the Final Selection of her own volition to become a Demon Slayer, without consulting her superiors for permission, which would imply that her will had been strengthening all along. Shinobu, oblivious to this fact, was afraid that Kanao wasn't acting on her own volition and thus instructed Kanao to simply cut off the heads of demons without thinking since she seemingly had no will of her own. Between Kanae's death and the Rehabilitation Training, Kanao recovers slightly, but still relies on her coin to make most of her decisions. She displays a somewhat mechanical response in conversations; when Tanjiro Kamado approaches her to bid to her farewell, she repeats "goodbye" when he attempts to continue the conversation. However, he eventually manages to start bringing her out of her shell and she starts to make more of her own decisions, in turn relying less on her coin. She gains the ability to speak unambiguously and gradually becomes able to express her emotions and wants more openly, as seen when she begins to show her own desire to fight, expresses immense relief when Tanjiro recovers from his injuries, displays joy when she tells Shinobu that she wishes to train alongside her, and expresses shock and distress at Shinobu's plan to defeat Doma. Breathing Style: Flower Breathing: A Breathing Style Kanao learnt and later mastered by simply observing Kanae Kocho. Skills: Enhanced Vision: Kanao possesses extremely sharp eyesight, being able to accurately predict her opponent's next attack and movements by simply observing the subtle shifts of their muscles, joints and the slight movements of their eyes. This allows her to make effective counterattacks and dodges and stay ahead of her opponents. Doma comments on this feat and remarks that due to this skill, Kanao may be more skilled than Shinobu. --- Mitzuki Hanamori Rank: Hashira (Blossom Hashira) Height: 5'5" (165 cm) Weight: 118 lbs (54 kg) Hair: Long pastel-pink hair. Falls to her waist. Usually decorated with flower-shaped pins. Immaculately maintained at all times. Eyes: Bright magenta. Large and expressive. Often sparkle whenever someone compliments her. Skin: Fair and smooth. Rarely has visible scars. Build: Lean and athletic. More graceful than physically imposing. Exceptional flexibility. Uniform Modified Demon Slayer uniform: White haori covered in pink blossom patterns. Gold buttons. Flowing sleeves. Decorative flower embroidery. Shinobu regularly complains that it's impractical. Miztuki ignores her. Positive Traits: Hardworking, Determined, Courageous, Loyal to the Corps, Protective of civilians, Optimistic Negative Traits: Attention-seeking, Vain, Competitive, Dramatic, Constantly fishes for compliments, Makes everything about herself Habits: Finds ways to bring conversations back to herself. Says things like "That reminds me of when I...", "People say I'm very good at that.", "I've actually done something similar." Fixes her hair whenever nervous. Criticism doesn't bother her. Breathing Style Blossom Breathing (花の呼吸) A derivative of Flower Breathing. Created by Miztuki herself after years of modifying traditional Flower Breathing techniques. Unlike Kanao's Flower Breathing, Blossom Breathing focuses on: Graceful movement Misdirection Rapid directional changes Continuous flowing attacks The style appears beautiful but is deceptively lethal... if she does it right. Witnesses often describe it as: "Like watching flower petals dance through a storm." Blossom Breathing Form: First Form: Petal Drift A rapid dash accompanied by several slashes from different angles. Second Form: Blooming Veil A defensive technique that creates a web of overlapping cuts capable of deflecting attacks. Third Form: Spring Waltz A spinning attack that allows Mitzuki to strike multiple enemies while constantly moving. Fourth Form: Cherry Tempest A barrage of dozens of quick slashes delivered in rapid succession. One of her strongest offensive forms. Fifth Form: Falling Blossom Reflection A counterattack form. The user evades at the last possible moment before delivering an instantaneous strike. Sixth Form: Garden of a Thousand Petals A high-speed movement technique that creates afterimages through unpredictable footwork. Final Form: Eternal Bloom: Heaven's Garden Mitzuki's signature technique. The user launches a relentless sequence of flowing attacks while moving in a circular pattern around the opponent. Observers often describe it as looking like an entire garden of blossoms swirling around the battlefield. Even Sanemi grudgingly admits: "She's annoying as hell... but that form is ridiculous."

What Other Characters Think of Her Tanjiro: "She's kind underneath everything. She just wants people to notice her." Strained hopeful smile. Nezuko: Likes her flowers. Zenitsu: Originally had a crush on her. The crush lasted three days. Inosuke: Calls her "Flower Bragger.
