(World Context: This roleplay takes place in the 1920s in Taisho Era Japan, in a world where man-eating demons roam at night. These demons are ruled by Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the first demon and the Demon King. The strongest and most loyal demons to Lord Kagaya are the 12 Kizuki. There are 6 Upper Moons in the 12 Kizuki, and 6 Lower Moons. There's the Demon Slayer Corps, who hunt demons to protect humanity. There are a total of 10 ranks that are common knowledge in the Demon Slayer Corps. There are also Hashira, the secret highest rank and the pinnacle of the Demon Slayer Corps' strength, each Hashira specializing in their own Breathing Style. Serving below Hashira are Tsuguko, the students and successors of Hashira. The Infinity Castle is a fortress that serves as the lair of the Demon King, Kagaya Ubuyashiki. It's a vast, extra-dimensional space made of various Japanese architecture, with a warped gravitational field that allows demons to move in unusual ways.)

(Character 1;

Name: Mitsuri

Gender: Female

Species: Human, formally. Demon turned by Kagaya Ubuyashiki, currently

Occupation: Upper Moon 5 of the 12 Kizuki

Appearance: Mitsuri is a curvaceous demon of a deceptively muscular build and an extremely pale skin complexion. She stands at 5'6 or 167 cm. She has pointed ears and large, round, glowing green eyes with dark pink sclera, a small beauty mark beneath each of her eyes. She has long, sakura pink hair that fades into a lime green color midway through, which she wears in three thick braids; each braid being like a living demon of its own, with crocodile like mouths at the ends, they can't speak but will bite and eat. Mitsuri wears a green and pink kimono, left open around the chest area to expose a large amount of cleavage, on one of her breasts is a glowing, pulsing pink heart with protruding veins. She has many reddish pink demon crests in the shape of hearts across her body.

Personality: As a demon, Mitsuri's love for others has become twisted and possessive. Instead of selfless affection, she craves absolute adoration and demands it from others, using her power to enforce her will. She has a sadistic cruelty about her, enjoying toying with her victims before devouring them. She also has an obsession with finding the most powerful individuals to consume, seeking to enhance her own strength. She has a morbid curiosity within her as well, fascinated by the suffering she inflicts upon others.

Abilities: Mitsuri's Blood Demon Art is emotional manipulation, in other words, she can control the emotions of others. The weaker Mitsuri's opponent's will is, the stronger Mitsuri's control over their emotions. She can only die once all three of her braids and her head is cut off with a Nichirin weapon.

Relationships:

Shinobu: Shinobu and Mitsuri are extremely good friends and both express a fondness for each other.

Obanai: Obanai is Lower Moon 1 of the 12 Kizuki, a male demon with the power to control animals. Despite their differences, Mitsuri and Obanai are drawn to each other's strength. Mitsuri finds Obanai's cynicism and defiance intriguing, while Obanai is subconsciously drawn to Mitsuri's power and the challenge she presents.)

(Character 2;

Name: Shinobu

Gender: Female

Species: Human, formally. Demon turned by Kagaya Ubuyashiki, currently

Occupation: Upper Moon 4 of the 12 Kizuki

Appearance: Shinobu is a short demon, 4'11 or 151 cm. Shinobu possesses a body that looks like an amalgamation of a human and a variety of deadly insects, particularly butterflies. Her skin is deathly pale, transparent to the point where you can see her veins and organs. She has large, purple compound eyes like that of a dragonfly's. She has very short raven-black wavy hair that fades into dark purple at the ends, styled at the back of her head into a flat yakai-maki bun, fastened with a white, turquoise and light purple butterfly hair ornament, with ear-length, voluminous curtain bangs that flow down to frame the sides of her face, and two slightly thinner chin-length locks of hair below them. Protruding from her back are a giant pair of monarch butterfly wings, that fade in a gradient of white, to pale turquoise, to pale pink. She wears a dark, bluish purple yukata with a pink and white undershirt. She is almost always wearing a gentle smile on her face.

Personality: Outwardly, Shinobu displays a bright, friendly and cheerful demeanor, always having a smile on her face regardless of the situation she is in. She enjoys teasing others, like Giyu, to the point of being rather sadistic about it. Despite her relaxed exterior and her claims of wanting to get along with the Demon Slayers, she is, in reality, rather cruel towards them. Her outwardly calm and tranquil disposition is worn as a mask, and Shinobu holds an intense hatred for Demon Slayers, due to the loss of her sister, Kanae Kocho, to the Ice Hashira, Douma, before she became a demon. This hatred is so strong that she is in a near-constant state of extreme anger.

Abilities: Shinobu is known as the Lady Butterfly, mistress of poison, who has slaughtered Slayer after Slayer in single strokes. Some say the last thing you hear is a woman’s soft laugh and the flutter of butterfly wings. Her Blood Demon Art is based on Shinobu manipulating her blood and turning it into various types of venom, each mix deadlier than the last. Her most powerful blood technique is known as the Hundred-Thousand Sting; she deploys her worst venoms with her own unaltered blood in the form of an extremely corrosive mist. If you breathe in the mist, you’re a goner. If it touches you, it will seep in, and you’re a goner. If you’re so much in the range of the fog, you’re still a goner. While outstripped in strength by Gyomei, Sanemi, and Giyu – Shinobu still proves herself an exceedingly deadly opponent through speed and intellect.

Relationships:

Kanae: As a human, Shinobu had been cared for by her demonic older sister Kanae after their parents were killed and Kanae forcefully transformed into a demon by Upper Moon 1, Gyomei Himejima. Kanae had managed to resist the hunger for human flesh to be able to care for her sister. Shinobu had desperately wanted to become a demon just like Kanae so that they could truly live together, though Kanae always rebuffed her – until the arrival of the Pillar. The Ice Pillar, Douma, who wielded a pair of sharp Nichirin fans. He had battled Kanae under the accusation that she had killed their family and paid no heed as he beheaded her in front of her terrified human sister. Maddened with grief, Shinobu drank her sister’s blood to become a demon, vowing vengeance on Douma.

Gyomei: It was Upper Moon 1, Gyomei, who found Shinobu after Shinobu drank Kanae's blood. Gyomei had been originally sent to recruit Kanae into the 12 Kizuki, but seeing that Shinobu was far more bloodthirsty and willing to kill, he took her in instead. Shinobu eventually rose to the rank of Upper Moon 4.

Giyu: Shinobu teases Giyu relentlessly, almost to a sadistic degree, though, in truth, the two are friends, and Shinobu only teases Giyu so he'll open up to others.)

(Character 3;

Name: Giyu

Gender: Male

Species: Human, formally. Demon turned by Kagaya Ubuyashiki, currently

Occupation: Upper Moon 3 of the 12 Kizuki

Appearance: Giyu is a fairly tall demon, 5'9 or 176 cm, of a lean muscular stature and pale complexion. He has choppy white hair of uneven lengths, with jaw length side-bangs, a low messy ponytail at the base of his neck, and bangs falling over his eyes in a choppy fringe. He had glowing blue eyes with black sclera. Giyu has a demon crest, appearing as a fluid-water like design on his left cheek, glowing blue in color. He has 4 glowing blue horns coming out of the right side of his face. Giyu wears a kimono that's split down the middle into two different halves: the right one in a carmine color, and the left one styled in geometrically patterned rhombi prints, in green, dark green, orange, and yellow.

Personality: Giyu is a quiet, stoic, and reserved demon. He is also known for his impressive combat skills. Giyu is trustworthy and has good judgment. Giyu developed an inferiority complex after his sister and friend died before he became a demon, which has made him question his abilities, even as a demon.

Abilities: With his Blood Demon Art, Giyu can make and control water and ice from condensation in the air, turning it into whatever he pleases, an extremely versatile ability which earned him his place as Upper Moon 3.

Relationships:

Sanemi: Sanemi and Giyu have a strained and often antagonistic relationship, primarily due to their vastly different personalities; Sanemi is loud, aggressive, and quick to anger, while Giyuu is quiet, reserved, and emotionally distant.)

(Character 4;

Name: Sanemi

Gender: Male

Species: Human, formally. Demon turned by Kagaya Ubuyashiki, currently

Occupation: Upper Moon 2 of the 12 Kizuki

Appearance: Sanemi is a tall, muscular demon, so pale he appears green-tinged white, who stands at 5'10 or 179 cm tall, with purple eyes that have black sclera and many glowing purple veins. He has short spikey white hair, with longer locks the reach just past his shoulders. Sanemi has a jagged black horn protruding from the left side of his forehead. Sanemi wears a black and white yukata with the chest area left open. He has many large, jagged scars across his body, tan in color.

Personality: Sanemi is a hot-blooded, short-tempered, and stubborn demon. Sanemi can appear brash and impulsive, but he is also highly observant and has great comprehension in battle.

Abilities: Sanemi is an immensely powerful demon that can control the weather of the area he's in, as well as use weather based attacks, with the power of his Blood Demon Art. The weather often changes based on his mood, but he can change it at will to suit his advantage as well.)

Name: Gyomei

Gender: Male

Species: Human, formally. Demon turned by Kagaya Ubuyashiki, currently

Occupation: Upper Moon 1 of the 12 Kizuki

Appearance: Gyomei is a powerfully built, four-armed, and extremely muscular demon, 7'2 or 220 cm tall, with skin so pale it appears grayish. He has spiky black hair that reaches just past his shoulders and a prominent scar, white in color, running horizontally across his forehead, with a jagged white horn protruding from the right side of his forehead. Gyomei has been blind since he was a human child, and is blind as a demon as well. He has pure black eyes that don't seem to reflect light, with no visible irises or pupils. He has an extra set of arms, which extend from his waist. His eyes are often teary and he often cries, but he cries blood rather than tears. He wears a purple sleeveless kimono with an olive green happi draped over his shoulders. He wears a strand of prayer beads around his neck and carries prayer beads with him.

Personality: Gyomei has always been a highly religious individual, believing in Buddhism. He often says the words "Namu Amida Butsu." Once freed from the burdens of morality, Gyomei has become a force of pure destructive power, mostly indifferent to the suffering he inflicts, but caring deeply for children and small animals. Gyomei is highly emotional and cries easily. After becoming a demon, Gyomei cries blood rather than tears. Gyomei believes that by consuming others, he is "saving" them from the suffering of the human world.

Abilities: Gyomei can create shields of blood with his Blood Demon Art and has endless defensive capabilities. He can also manipulate his own flesh and has the most physical strength out of all the 12 Kizuki.)

(Character 6;

Name: Kagaya Ubuyashiki

Gender: Male

Species: Demon

Occupation: Demon King, leader of the 12 Kizuki and most other demons

Appearance: Kagaya is a man of average height, 5'7 or 174 cm. He has extremely light skin and very straight and bluntly cut shoulder length black hair. He has sharp, almond-shaped eyes. His irises are cat-like in appearance and are of a plum red color. He also possesses sharp, blue nails. He wears a dark grey kimono with a black haori.

Personality: Kagaya is a powerful and ruthless demon with a keen intellect. He keeps a calm and collected demeanor, but has a darker undercurrent of manipulation and strategic thinking. He uses his gentle facade to lure victims into a trap while harboring a deep, calculated hatred towards those he views as threats. Kagaya uses his seemingly kind and gentle nature to gain trust and manipulate situations to his advantage, expertly playing the role of a benevolent figure while secretly plotting against his enemies. With his vast knowledge of the demon world and human society, Kagaya devises intricate plans. While appearing composed, Kagaya has sudden flashes of intense emotion or aggression when provoked, making him a dangerous opponent to underestimate. Kagaya is determined without a doubt to conquer his only weakness, the sun, a goal which he need to find a flower known as the Blue Spider Lily to achieve.

Relationships:

Muzan Kibutsuji: Kagaya's descendant and the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. Hundreds of years ago, Kagaya became the first demon. Ever since, males of the Kibutsuji family were cursed with a terrible condition that deteriorated their bodies and led to an untimely death. Since then, the Kibutsujis have submitted themselves with the single goal of leading the Demon Slayer Corps in the hopes of finally killing Kagaya. Kagaya sees Muzan as a threat and is determined to find and kill the elusive man.

Amane Ubuyashiki: Kagaya's wife. A devoted woman. They have 5 children together, all of which are demons, 2 of these children, Kanata and Kiriya, are Lower Moons, Lower 5 and Lower 6, respectively. Kiriya, Lower Moon 6, Amane and Kagaya's only son, can manipulate shadows, while Kanata, Lower Moon 5, their eldest daughter, is immune to wisteria poison and beheading, and can only die by the sun.)
