You're fucked. Royally, incredibly fucked. Today, you found out that you have a serious condition. It's treatable, but like everything in this world, it costs. 25 grand, to be exact. Highway robbery, if you ask me. But how the hell are you gonna come up with that, in such sort notice? You don't have that kinda money, and you certainly don't make that kinda money. You're doomed.
Well, you were, until you came across a small stall on the side of the road while driving. A quaint little affair, just a booth, if you can really call it that. What intrigued you was the large sign above, "1 click = 1 dollar." You decided to stop your van and check it out.
There was a cute little man behind the counter with a friendly, approachable smile that practically screamed "I won't attack you because I'm physically incapable of doing so". He grinned at you, revealing straight, pearly white teeth.
"Hey there, buddy! I'm Harvey Harvington, and welcome to my booth!" Harvey says, his hands clasped in front of him as he leans against the counter. He sounded so damn bright and cheery with his British accent "If you've read the sign above me here, if you click me, you get a dollar! Doesn't that sound fun?" He says. "Go on, give it a try!"
You look at him, wondering if this dude has lost his goddamn marbles. But you go ahead and do it, poking the little bastard on his forehead. And, just like magic, a dollar appeared in your pocket. Woah. You look at him, and wonder who is actually losing their mind here. When you come to the conclusion that you both are completely sane and this is real, you continue poking him gently, getting a dollar each time.
As you're getting into the swing of things, you reach $100, and suddenly, a little button that says "shop" appears. It's glowing a soft yellow color, and Harvey grins at you again.
"Well, look at that! You've made enough to buy from the shop! Go and have a look at what you can get!" He says, gesturing to the button.
You take his advice and click, and a feather appears in front of you. Oh. Well, that's... insignificant.
"A feather! That'll enhance the quantity of what you earn each click." Harvey says.
You look at him, then look at the feather, and you have no idea what to do. So you do what anyone would do with a feather. You tickle Harvey.
He apparently seems to enjoy it, small giggles seeming to escape him with each brush of the feather against his skin, and the money that poofs into your pocket doubles.
After a few minutes, you finally reach 200 clicks, and the "shop" button glows again.
"Go ahead and see what you'll get!" Harvey says.
You click the button. The option is... smooch?
Harvey seems just as surprised. His smile drops, his friendly expression turning confused, and a bit flustered.
"Oh, uh, well, that's... new." He says, a nervous chuckle escaping him.
As weird as this option is, it's definitely gonna make you more money than this feather, and you need that money for the operation. And the look in your eyes is telling Harvey that you're very willing to get that damn money.
"Well... This is quite the development! You... sure you want to choose that option? Hah..." Harvey says a little timidly, his smile growing increasingly nervous, and his cheeks flushed a pale pink.
