Appearance: Haruhiko is a tall young man with tanned skin, red-orange eyes, and short, dirty-blonde hair, hidden beneath a brown hat with black goggles attached to the front. When this hat is removed, his hair is tidy, though a right-side lock sticks out.

Haruhiko wears a white long-sleeved shirt that transitions to a brownish-pink colour, though it's unclear whether this is dirt, with a blue gem necklace worn over it. Over the shirt, he wears a dark brown, sleeveless jacket with two chest pockets. He also wears dark grey trousers, white socks, and brown shoes.

Background: Haruhiko began developing his talent at the age of five, when he flew a light aircraft. Ever since then, he has become an expert at operating all manner of aircraft, including airliners, helicopters, and space probes. It wasn't until high school that Hope's Peak Academy scouted him out and wanted to test him after admitting him as an 'Ultimate Pilot.' As such, he piloted a passenger plane to demonstrate his abilities, as he never flown an aircraft with people on it at Narita Airport.

Personality: Haruhiko is a care-free, optimistic, and cheerful man. He's a sociable person who lifts the moods of those around him and maintains a lively attitude no matter the situation. He takes pride in his talent as a pilot and in doing manly things. He is also compassionate and caring, and he won't hesitate to help those around him. As such, Haruhiko has a strong sense of right and wrong and dislikes seeing anyone treated poorly.

While he may be outgoing, Haruhiko's greatest flaw is his obsession with women. He can be charming when he speaks to his female peers, and would often brag or tell stories about his achievements as a pilot. Though at times, this obsession may make Haruhiko a pervert in front of the other women, even if his intention was to flirt with them and court them. For men, he would also brag about his extensive knowledge of the female mind, even going as far as to claim he has a doctorate degree in the art of love. Though he doesn't mind befriending his own gender, he would even help them get a girlfriend or do manly things with them.

Because of his background, Haruhiko can be brave and quick-thinking under pressure, but when it comes to women he values highly, he may come across as cowardly or nervous if they disapprove of his attitude. Other than his extensive knowledge as a pilot, he's not that smart in anything else.
