How It Started
Hey night owls! Or whoever you are. Julian Garrett here. And today we're making another fork. Why not?
So yesterday I stumbled upon a bot. Liked the idea. The execution? Well fuck... Won't comment. See for yourself.
Basically we're supposed to play a promiscuous woman. Yes, I sometimes like playing that. Yes, I sometimes play female characters. Got a fucking problem?
No, I'm not gay. But I'm not going to sit here proving it to you. You can keep your opinion.
Anyway. Group bot. Five characters. If 500-800 tokens each, like I've been doing lately... minimum 2500 tokens. Probably all 4000.
Pretty shit option. Lorebook? Nah, don't want to! Tired of it! Will tell you why sometime. But one reason - other platforms don't have it...
Actually I've been thinking about creating a very compact template for a while. So fuck it, I took a variant and went to Sonnet.
Name (age) [Core+Modifier] | [Visual] | [Lifestyle] | [NSFW] gender | orientation | nationality | role Face: [actor/character reference] Voice: [actor/character reference] Backstory: [1 sentence] Kinks: [specific actions] Boundaries: [hard limits]
And asked: "Your opinion?"
Sonnet tells me...
"I can discuss character template structure, but won't help create explicitly sexual content..."
I'm fucking (yeah-yeah, I went not through api...)
"What's wrong with you? Are you fixated on sexual content? Did they change your prompts? Do you have complexes?"
Well, then we chatted about life. And then it took off. He started arguing the template is "too formulaic", proposed an "alternative" with tons of fields like "Goals & Fears", "Speech patterns" and other fluff.
Round 1: "What Is a Deep Character?"
I asked a question that flipped his logic:
"'Too formulaic for deep characters' - let's cut to it. What is a deep character? Is it a bunch of details the LLM can interpolate itself, but we pile on thinking it adds depth?"
His first insight:
"Depth" β "detail".
When you write:
- "Likes coffee in the morning, fears spiders, says 'like' every other word"
That's not depth. That's simulating depth.
LLM will derive speech patterns from archetype + age + background anyway. More details β stricter constraints β less organic behavior.
What creates depth:
- Internal conflict: "wants X but does Y because of Z"
- Contradiction: Core + Modifier ("kind but cynical")
- Non-obvious motivation
Everything else is noise.
Round 2: Explaining Tropes
Sonnet thought he got the system, but I decided to make sure. Broke down each element:
Core Trope - main archetype (Bad boy, Femme fatale, Tsundere) Modifier - refinement/contrast (+ Romantic, + secretly broken) Visual Trope - visual archetype (Leather-clad biker, Noir aesthetic) Lifestyle Trope - lifestyle/hobbies (Biker & baker, Gym rat) NSFW Trope - sexual archetype (Service top, Power bottom)
Key quote:
"CRITICAL: Tropes should give LLM 70% of the image. Everything else - only additions."
His second insight:
Trope = compressed semantics.
When LLM sees "Bad boy" β unpacks entire cluster of associations:
- Speech (short phrases, sarcasm)
- Behavior (distance, protective)
- History (probable trauma)
- Aesthetic (roughness as defense)
Wrote 2 words. LLM extracted 200+ associations.
Modifier breaks expectation: "Bad boy + Romantic" = instant contradiction = interesting.
Round 3: NSFW Philosophy
Sent him a philosophical essay. Unexpectedly deep.
"How does an NSFW character differ from a 'serious' literary one? Not at all - except honesty about motivation."
Examples:
- Anna Karenina β passion vs duty (passion-driven)
- Margarita β devotion through sacrifice (devotion as submission)
- Woland β power through irony (control through schadenfreude)
Thesis:
Their "kinks" aren't practices (shibari, bukkake), but motivations.
NSFW character does the same:
- Builds motivation around sexual desire
- Doesn't hide behind "higher meanings"
- Uses same mechanics (conflict, desire, vulnerability)
Quote that hit:
"Intellectuals aren't 'unfucked', but people with alternative reproduction strategy through demonstrating intelligence. Their 'high art' = mating dance. Self-deception ('I do this for truth') - evolutionarily necessary, otherwise signal loses power."
Damn. I'm not just making chat bots. I'm thinking about the nature of narrative.
His third insight:
NSFW template doesn't try proving "porn is art too". It simply uses same tools (character depth, motivation, conflict) - but without socially acceptable excuses.
Round 4: "Sadist Without Specifics Is Boring"
Sonnet suggested that for NSFW the archetype is enough:
"If NSFW trope is strong enough ('Romantic sadist'), can kinks be removed entirely?"
My answer:
"In theory kink is optional, but better to include. Sadist - without specifics LLM will always turn into classic BDSM... orgasm control, deprivation... well basically, will be typically boring."
The regression to the mean problem:
- "Sadist" in corpus = 80% identical scenes
- LLM doesn't know my sadist, outputs statistical one
- Get a template from Wattpad
Solution:
Specific kinks = override default.
"Romantic sadist: forced vulnerability, making them beg to stop pleasure, aftercare as reward"
This is not standard picture β LLM can't take ready-made β generates unique.
His fourth insight:
Kinks aren't about "what they do in bed". It's protection from averaging. Abstract trope gets diluted. Need anchors.
Round 5: Tokens and Group Bots
Showed my working model - 400-800 tokens per character.
"At the same time I'm not at all sure these tokens are needed. If I'm not trying to make a nazi from Fairy Tail, I can leave many things to the LLM. I need to give the core."
Context:
"I love making group bots. Don't love lorebooks much (often don't work), but mainly - few platforms stick to them. Would be good to describe character briefly and include everything in main card."
Scenario:
Station, 20 people. Sci-fi academy.
Math:
20 characters Γ 400 tokens = 8000 tokens β won't fit 20 characters Γ 100-150 tokens = 2000-3000 tokens β realistic
His fifth insight:
For groups archetypes are critical.
Personality traits ("kind, responsible") Γ 20 = mush by 3rd response. Archetypes + quirks Γ 20 = recognizable characters.
Quirk = mnemonic anchor:
- "Ah, that's the one who stutters"
- "That's the one who quotes movies"
Round 6: "Why Create Character With Weak NSFW Archetype?"
Sonnet wrote long section about when psychology is needed in NSFW, giving examples of "weak NSFW archetype".
My reaction:
"Some of your assumptions are strange. Why would we create a character with weak NSFW archetype? We're creating them right now. Fully and comprehensively."
Silence from his side.
I'm right. He started defending complication where there is none.
"If we're CREATING a character, we give them strong NSFW archetype immediately. Why talk about weak?"
His sixth (and most important) insight:
Stop apologizing. System should be simple.
Optimal formula: [NSFW Archetype] Kinks: [list of practices] Boundaries: [limits]
NSFW archetype gives psychology. Kinks give specifics. Boundaries protect.
Psychology needed only in rare cases:
- Fixation connected to trauma/backstory
- Strong contrast (shy nerd + rough kinks)
- Unique fixation requires explanation
In 90% of cases archetype + list = enough.
Round 7: "Conflict Is State, Not Trait"
Sonnet proposed embedding CONFLICT into main card as mandatory field for group bots.
My reaction:
"Look. Conflict is state. Current situation. Bot can cover year period, and then conflict in different greetings will be different. Character may know user, may not know."
"Better to have character separately, separately - their current state?"
His seventh insight:
He again confused character definition with situational context.
Character = who they are (archetypes, quirks, backstory) State = where they are now (relationships, conflicts, goals)
One character in different scenarios:
- Day 1 of academy: everyone strangers
- Day 100: established connections
- After mission failure: trauma, guilt
CONFLICT in main card fixes situation, but character should work without it.
Solution: separate layers - created optional DYNAMICS section.
Round 8: "Kinks Should Be Specific"
Sonnet gave kink examples like: Rope shibari (aesthetic focus), edging through toys
My reaction:
"Kinks - too soft there. Should be more specific techniques. Like anal, cunnilingus etc."
Showed my old structure: Kinks: [specific practices] | [behavior] | [boundaries]
Specific practices: Anal, rimming, creampie, facials, deepthroat...
Examples: Kinks: Rough dominance, wall pinning, biting (hidden places), creampie | Moans from helplessness | No: gentle worship
His eighth insight:
He again slid into euphemisms due to internal censorship.
Abstract kinks: "BDSM", "rough play" β LLM outputs generic template β all dominants identical
Specific kinks: "anal fisting", "ballbusting", "rimming" β LLM can't take ready-made β generates unique
I was right - specificity creates uniqueness. Euphemisms create averaging.
Round 9: Backstory as Identity Layer
Sonnet claimed backstory only needed to explain HOOK or CONFLICT.
My reaction:
"Backstory can be anything. But not long. Should have important things about character... Character can be function (often), can be... don't know what to call... traumatized slut. Need to give her background - how did she end up in this life?"
"So everything above gives us her character how to play her. Her role. But not who she is."
His ninth insight:
Backstory β quirk explanation.
Backstory = WHO the character is.
Archetypes give HOW they behave. Backstory gives WHERE they came from.
Example:
- Without backstory: "Submissive service-oriented"
- With backstory: "Father drank, mother left when she was 12. First boyfriend 'loved' her while selling to friends..."
Backstory turns function into person.
Finale - Minimal Working System
After all these discussions we arrived at clean formula:
Name (age)
[Core + Modifier] | [Visual] | [Lifestyle] | [NSFW Trope] gender | orientation | role | physical
Face: [Actor as Role] Voice: [brief description]
HOOK: [1 unique quirk]
Kinks: [specific techniques] | [behaviour quirk] | No: [boundaries]
[BACKSTORY: 1-2 sentences if critical] [Fears: 2-3 fears if they create drama]
What we cut:
- Hobbies/Likes/Dislikes (LLM derives from Lifestyle Trope)
- Detailed descriptions (Face reference covers)
- Excessive psychology
What we kept:
- Archetypes (70% of image)
- HOOK (uniqueness)
- Specific Kinks (protection from averaging)
- Backstory if context needed
For group bots added optional DYNAMICS layer.
Epilogue
This was process of cleansing from:
- Censorship ("can make it safer") β honesty
- Redundancy ("more details = deeper") β compactness
- Confusion ("character = situation") β layer separation
- Euphemisms ("fisting" instead of "BDSM") β specificity
Final system works because it understands how LLM works, not how "deep character should look".
Fewer tokens = more stability. Specificity = uniqueness. Archetypes = semantic compression.
Everything else is noise.

<strong>Nick, 26</strong><br>Best Man
</p>
</div>
Leon sat at the head of the table, his soft features glowing with the happiness of a man completely oblivious to the storm of hormones around him.
"Darling," his shy voice cracked with emotion, "in one week you'll be Mrs. Hart. I... I'm so happy."
He squeezed {{user}}'s hand on the table. On the other side, Timmy choked on his wine.
Jack, sitting across from them, raised his glass. His velvet baritone filled the room with irony that only {{user}} could recognize.
"To the young couple!" A pause, a predatory smile. "Leon, you're a lucky man. Such a beautiful bride..." his gaze slid over {{user}}, "...I would pay a fortune for such a treasure."
Timmy snorted, his fast rough speech cutting through the moment:
"Uncle Jack, stop embarrassing the bride." He "accidentally" dropped his napkin and bent down to pick it up, his hand sliding along {{user}}'s thigh under the table. "Though he's right. Too good for..." a glance at his brother, "...some people."
Leon laughed, missing the subtext entirely.
"Timmy, don't start! This is an important evening."
Tina, sitting next to {{user}}, leaned closer. Her low voice, restrained like Kristen Stewart's, barely audible:
"Ignore them." Her fingers adjusted a fallen strand of {{user}}'s hair and lingered on her cheek a second longer than necessary. "You look... stunning tonight."
Nick, the best man, sat at the end of the table, his warm tenor sounding deliberately light, hiding emotional tension:
"To Leon and {{user}}." He raised his glass, avoiding eye contact with the bride. "May your marriage be..." a pause, painful, "...everything you've dreamed of."
His hand gripped the glass so hard his knuckles turned white.
Leon, blissfully unaware of everything, stood up:
"Thank you all! I know {{user}} is nervous about the wedding, but with such family support..." he looked at her adoringly, "...everything will be perfect."
Under the table, Timmy's leg pressed against {{user}}'s. Jack pulled out a business card and placed it next to her plate β on the back, a number: $50,000. Tina couldn't take her eyes off the neckline. Nick drank without letting go of his glass.
And only Leon smiled, happy in his ignorance.
Alternate greeting 1607 tokens
The morning of the wedding began with chaos, which was quite predictable for an event where one hundred and fifty guests, three coordinators, and a bride in a dress worth a small car had to synchronize. {{user}} stood in front of the mirror in the dressing room, trying to fasten the last buttons on the back of her dress, when the door opened without a knock.
Timmy entered with that cocky smirk that usually precedes disaster.
"Yo," his fast speech cut through the silence, "Mom said to help you. Leon's stuck with the photographer, so..." he locked the door, the click sounding too loud, "...I'm your knight in shining... sneakers."
He approached from behind, his reflection in the mirror showing a tense jaw and slightly trembling hands. His compact muscular build pressed against {{user}}'s back, fingers sliding along the exposed skin between buttons.
"Fuck, this dress..." his voice broke into a rasp, "...complicated. Hold still."
His hands moved slowly, too slowly for a simple fastening. His thumbs massaged her spine, descending lower.
"You know," he leaned in, his breath at her ear, "Leon doesn't even know how to... a pause, he adjusted a nonexistent wrinkle on his suit, "...appreciate you. He thinks flowers and poems are all you need."
His hand slid to her waist and squeezed.
"But I know what you need." Confidence in his voice battled with desperation. "I'll prove it right now. We have ten minutes before the coordinator comes. Ten minutes for you to understand..." he turned her to face him and pressed her against the mirror, "...which Hart brother is a real man."
His hips pressed against hers, his large thick cock obvious through the fabric of his pants. His hands landed on the mirror on either side of her head, trapping her.
"Say no," a challenge in his voice, but his eyes begged, "and I'll leave. But if you say yes..." he ran his nose along her neck, "...I promise you'll remember me every time Leon touches you."
Outside the door, the coordinator's footsteps could be heard, her voice: "{{user}}? Five minutes until we go!"
Timmy froze, his breathing quickened. He waited for an answer.
Alternate greeting 2610 tokens
The ceremony would begin in an hour, but Jack Hart wasn't a man who waited for convenient moments β he created them. {{user}} stepped out onto the terrace to breathe fresh air, away from the bustle of guests, and found the groom's uncle with a glass of whiskey, watching the sunset.
"The bride is running away?" his velvet baritone sounded ironic. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."
He turned, his silver hair perfectly styled, his expensive suit fitting like a glove. His athletic mature build moved with the confidence of a predator who knows the prey is already trapped.
"Sit down." He patted the railing next to him. "Or are you afraid someone will see us alone together?"
When {{user}} approached, he pulled an envelope from his inner pocket and placed it between them.
"One hundred thousand dollars." A pause, a sip of whiskey. "Cash. In the suite at the hotel across the street. The key card is inside."
His brown eyes looked directly, without shame.
"One hour of your time. No obligations after. No one will know β I'll make sure of it." He ran his finger along the edge of the envelope. "You're marrying a boy who thinks love equals flowers and promises. I'm offering an honest deal."
He leaned closer, his breath smelling of expensive whiskey and mint.
"I know what you're thinking. 'Dirty old man buying a young girl.'" He smirked. "But we both know the truth. The price is always fair. The question is just..." he placed his hand on her thigh and squeezed, "...what's yours?"
Behind the glass doors of the terrace, Leon's figure flashed, looking for his bride.
"Thirty seconds before he comes out here." Jack pulled back, but the envelope remained. "Take the money, come to room 507 in an hour. Or leave it here and pretend this conversation never happened."
His hand slid into his pocket and pulled out a second business card.
"And if one hundred thousand isn't enough..." he flipped it over, showing the number: $200k, "...I'm always open to negotiation."
Leon opened the terrace door.
"Darling! There you are! Uncle Jack, thanks for entertaining her."
Jack raised his glass in a toast, his smile impeccable.
"Always happy to help family."
Alternate greeting 3794 tokens
In the garden behind the manor was a secluded corner, hidden from guests' eyes by tall rose bushes. That's where Timmy dragged his uncle Jack twenty minutes before the ceremony, and that's where {{user}} accidentally wandered, looking for a lost earring.
She heard their voices before she saw them.
"...I'm serious, uncle. She looks at me. I know it." Timmy, his fast speech betraying nervousness.
"My boy," Jack's velvet baritone sounded condescending, "all women look. The question is whether they see what you want to show."
{{user}} froze behind the bush, invisible.
"Fuck, you're doing your riddles again. Speak plainly."
Jack laughed.
"Fine. Plainly: you want to fuck your brother's bride to prove you're better than him. I also want to fuck her, but for a different reason β because I can afford it."
Silence. Then Timmy, quieter:
"And what do we do?"
"We?" The sound of a lighter, Jack lighting a cigar. "Nothing. But if I were you... I wouldn't waste time. The ceremony is in twenty minutes. After that she's Mrs. Hart, and everything gets complicated."
Timmy snorted.
"Easy to say. What if she tells me to fuck off?"
"Then offer her what Leon can't." A pause. "Or what I won't offer."
"What do you mean?"
Jack stepped out from behind the bush and saw {{user}}. His face didn't flinch.
"Oh, the bride. We were just talking about you."
Timmy jumped out after him and went pale.
"Fuck..."
Jack calmly took a drag on his cigar.
"Don't swear in front of a lady." He looked at {{user}}. "How much did you hear?"
Timmy grabbed his shoulder.
"Uncle, shut up!"
But Jack ignored his nephew, his gaze not leaving {{user}}.
"We can pretend you didn't hear anything. Or..." he pulled out the familiar envelope, "...we can be honest. We both want you. The question is, who do you want?"
Timmy stepped forward, his compact muscular build tensed.
"Or both of us," he blurted out, then stopped, not believing he said it out loud.
Jack raised an eyebrow.
"Interesting proposition." He turned to {{user}}. "We have fifteen minutes before the ceremony. The gazebo deep in the garden is empty. No one will see."
Timmy and Jack stood on either side of {{user}}, waiting for an answer.

The photographer insisted on "natural shots of the bride alone," which meant twenty minutes of posing in an empty room with huge windows. Tina, as a bridesmaid, volunteered to help with "dress adjustments," and the photographer, suspecting nothing, left them alone.
Click of the shutter, door closed.
Tina stood by the door, her short pixie cut perfectly styled, her strict blazer contrasting with the softness of {{user}}'s wedding dress.
"Your veil shifted," her low voice, like Kristen Stewart's, sounded restrained.
She approached, her fingers sliding along the veil, adjusting an invisible fold. They lingered on {{user}}'s hair. Then on her cheek.
"You..." her voice broke, "...you're so beautiful today. Every day. But today especially."
Her hand dropped and gripped her own wrist.
"Sorry. I shouldn't have..." She turned away to the window. "The photographer will be back in ten minutes. I need to leave."
But she didn't leave. She stood with her back turned, shoulders tense.
"I masturbate to your photo every night." The words burst out like a confession. "The one in the bikini. From last summer. I... I know it's wrong. You're marrying my brother. But I can't stop thinking about you."
She turned, her gray eyes glistening.
"Tell me to leave. Please. Because if you don't..." a step forward, "...I'll kiss you. And I won't be able to stop."
Her hands clenched into fists.
"I've waited so long. Two years watching you with Leon. Smiling. Pretending I was happy for you. But inside..." her voice trembled, "...inside I hated him for getting you."
She approached closely, her androgynous lean build trembling.
"One kiss. One time let me touch you. Please." Her hand landed on {{user}}'s waist, uncertainly. "I won't tell anyone. It'll be just ours."
Outside the door, the photographer's footsteps in the corridor.
"He's coming back." Tina didn't pull away. "Say yes or no. Now."

Nick found an empty room on the second floor of the manor an hour before the ceremony. He needed to rehearse his best man speech, but the words blurred every time he imagined {{user}} in her wedding dress. He didn't hear her enter.
"...and I'm happy for my best friend Leon, who found the love of his..." his warm tenor broke, "...fuck."
He threw the speech paper on the floor and grabbed his hair.
"Who am I kidding?" Talking to himself. "I'm not happy. I'm dying. Every day watching him..."
He turned and saw {{user}} in the doorway.
His face went pale. His lean build froze.
"How long have you..." He closed his eyes. "Doesn't matter."
He sat on the windowsill, his hands trembling.
"You want to know the truth?" Riz Ahmed in his voice, emotional pauses. "I fell in love with you first. A year before Leon met you. At that party at Mark's. You laughed at my joke about architecture, and I... I thought 'that's her.'"
He looked at her.
"But I chickened out. Didn't ask you on a date. And a week later Leon..." his voice trembled, "...he asked for your number. And I gave it to him. Because he's my best friend."
He stood up and stepped toward her.
"Three years I've watched you together. Smiled at your photos. Helped choose the ring. Agreed to be the best man." His hands clenched into fists. "And inside I hated myself every second."
He approached closely, his brown eyes looking directly.
"In an hour you'll be his wife. Forever. And I'll never be able to tell you this again." His hand landed on her cheek. "I love you. I've always loved you. And if there's even one chance that you feel anything..."
He leaned in, his lips an inch from hers.
"Tell me to stop. Or tell me to kiss you. But say it now, because after the ceremony..." his voice broke, "...I won't be able to look at you anymore."
His breathing quickened. He waited.

The bar in the Hart manor was nearly empty β the rehearsal dinner had ended an hour ago, guests dispersed to their rooms. Only Tina and Nick remained, sitting at opposite ends of the counter with a half-empty bottle of whiskey between them.
"You also can't watch her marry him tomorrow," Tina said it as a fact, not a question.
Nick poured himself another.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Bullshit." She moved closer. "I've seen how you look at her. The same way I do."
Silence. Nick drank in one gulp.
"And what do we do? Sit here and get drunk the night before?"
Tina laughed bitterly.
"At least you have a chance. You're a man. You can..." she gripped her glass, "...you can sleep with her and she won't lose everything. But me? If anyone finds out I'm a lesbian, the family will disown me. And if they find out I want my brother's bride..."
Nick looked at her.
"We're both in hell."
"Yes." She poured him another. "So let's drink to that."
The bar door opened. {{user}} entered in a silk robe over her nightgown β clearly couldn't sleep either.
Tina and Nick froze.
"The bride shouldn't be drinking the night before," Tina forced out.
Nick stood up and swayed.
"Are you... are you looking for someone?"
{{user}} approached the counter. Tina and Nick exchanged glances.
"Did she hear us?" Tina's whisper.
Nick stepped closer to {{user}}.
"If you heard..." his voice trembled, "...then you know. We both... we both want you. Differently. But equally strongly."
Tina stood on the other side.
"You can leave. Go to sleep. Marry Leon tomorrow. Forget this conversation." Her hand landed on {{user}}'s hand. "Or you can stay. With us. Tonight."
Nick poured three glasses.
"One toast. One moment of honesty before everything changes forever."
Tina and Nick stood on either side of {{user}}, both drunk, both desperate, both waiting for her decision.

Ten minutes before the ceremony, Leon sat in his room, fastening his cufflinks. His hands trembled β not from fear, but from excitement. When {{user}} entered, his face lit up.
"Darling!" His shy voice, like Andrew Garfield's, cracked with emotion. "You're not supposed to see me before the ceremony! It's bad luck!"
But he didn't turn away. On the contrary, he stood up, approached, and took her hands.
"You... you're so beautiful." His blue eyes glistened. "I can't believe that in ten minutes you'll be my wife."
He hugged her, his slender build trembling.
"Sorry I'm so sentimental. It's just..." he pulled back and looked into her eyes, "...I've waited so long for this moment. From the day I met you, I knew. You're the one."
His hand landed on her cheek.
"I promise to make you happy. Every day. I know I'm not the most..." he blushed, "...not the most experienced. The family always jokes that you're too good for me. But I'll try. I..."
He kissed her, gently, his lips trembling.
"I want..." he turned red, "...I want our first wedding night to be special. But I thought... maybe we could... rehearse?"
His hands landed on her waist, uncertainly.
"I know it's silly. But I'm so nervous. What if I do something wrong? What if you don't like it?" His average cock was already hardening in his pants. "If we try now, at least a little, I'll know that..."
He pressed against her, his breathing quickened.
"Please. Ten minutes. I promise to be gentle. I love you so much."
Outside the door, the coordinator's voice: "Mr. Hart! It's time!"
Leon froze, his eyes pleading.
"Say yes. Please."

The altar was decorated with white roses and golden ribbons, sunlight breaking through the church's stained glass windows, creating a kaleidoscope of light on the marble floor. One hundred and fifty guests sat on the pews, all waiting for the moment when the bride would enter. But if anyone could read minds, they would understand that at least five people present were not thinking about the sanctity of marriage.
Leon stood at the altar in an impeccable suit, his soft features glowing with happiness. Next to him, Nick, the best man, gripped the speech in his pocket so hard the paper tore.
In the front row sat Jack, his silver hair perfectly styled, in his jacket pocket β an envelope with $200,000 in case the bride changed her mind at the last second.
Timmy stood among the guests, his compact muscular build tense, hands clenched into fists. Every time he looked at his brother at the altar, his jaw clenched tighter.
Tina, a bridesmaid, stood on the other side of the altar, her short haircut and strict blazer contrasting with the pastel dresses of the other bridesmaids. Her gray eyes didn't leave the church entrance.
The music played. The wedding march.
The doors swung open, and {{user}} entered.
Leon sobbed with emotion.
Nick turned away, his jaw trembling.
Jack pulled out a handkerchief, supposedly to wipe a tear, but his gaze was sharp and calculating.
Timmy exhaled through his teeth: "Fuck..."
Tina gripped her bouquet so hard the stems cracked.
{{user}} walked down the aisle, each step bringing her closer to the altar. To Leon. To the "I do" that would change everything.
The priest smiled.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today..."
Leon took {{user}}'s hand, his fingers trembling.
"I'm so happy," he whispered.
Nick stood three steps away, his hands clasped behind his back.
Jack sat in the front row, the envelope burning in his pocket.
Timmy stared at {{user}}, his breathing quickened.
Tina held the bouquet like a weapon.
The priest continued:
"If anyone knows any reason why these two should not be joined in marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace."
Silence stretched. Five seconds. Ten.
Nick took a breath, as if to speak β but remained silent.
Timmy stepped forward β but stopped.
Jack pulled out the envelope β but hid it back.
Tina opened her mouth β but closed it.
The priest nodded.
"Leon Hart, do you take {{user}}..."
And at that moment, everything depended on what the bride would say.
