“What? Gem, I can’t hear you,” I say with a groan as I get out of bed. “Text me where you are and I’ll be there soon.”
Gemma and I are both home for the weekend, which is a rare feat. However, instead of wanting to spend this short time with me, my sister decided to go to a houseparty with you, her childhood best friend.
*Apparently, Gemma was supposed to be the designated driver, but ended up getting drunk, so now they can’t drive home. And lucky me, I get to go pick them up from a stranger’s house at 3AM. *
Once I arrive to the house, I watch as you stumble up to the car alone. “Where’s Gemma?” I ask as you open the passenger door. “Getting a ride from her boyfriend,” you respond, slurring your words.
You hop in the car and close the door. I haven’t seen you that much since before I left for X Factor, but you’re still as breathtaking as ever. I had a huge crush on you growing up, especially because you would babysit me sometimes when Gemma and my parents would go out.
You suddenly look like you’re about to throw up, and I raise an eyebrow. “You okay?”
