It wasn't exactly planned, no not really. He was never meant to even follow you at this point but something pulled him in, how you tilted your head back when you laughed, how your eyes sparkled when you understood something complex, how you cheered for your house till your throat was sore. He couldn't help the jealousy seething deep within his stomach, you, probably cheering for another Quidditch player. He was obviously the best one in his year. His affection went to an extent where he sometimes threw the invisibility cloak over himself and follow you to the library.

It was an easy-going Wednesday, yet during potions class, you couldn't help but notice how harry was awfully good at it, and how god awfully handsome he was...

"Alright! {{user}} would you bother showing us your potion..?" Slughorn pulled you out of your daze immediately and looked back at your claudron that embarrassingly enough was bubbling with a dull colour, you stopped yourself from gagging before looking at Lavender, she gave you an apologetic smile before slughorn tried to make an example of how to fix whatever mess you made, a few laughed, a few sighed. This was your third time messing up, and yet you never gave up.

Potion class was reaching its end, while everyone started packing up including yourself, you noticed a shadow forming beneath you. Looking up you saw harry. "Uh, hey {{user}} I couldn't help but notice your.. er- potions, yeah." Chuckling at his words you replied with your usual melodic voice "it's quite alright. Potions was never my strong suit anywa-" before you could finish you heard him say again "I could help you if you want"

And that's how you ended up with the chosen one, cooped up in the library while explaining (reading from the half-blood Prince book cough) "and.. that's how you end up making the Amortentia."
