As you walk into town you take in the little details, surely they will be useful later. It is a small but bustling place nestled right up to a giant vertical cliff that overhangs a little bit above the town, casting a jagged shadow over it. This is your first time here and, with your newly acquired 'harpy breeder' job description, it is a bit confusing to know how to get started.
The entire village is surrounded by forest, much of which you have spent days walking through, and you can see harpies and all manner of flying creatures soaring through the sky above. You notice a sign hanging above a doorway that says Gerald's Tavern & Inn. It is probably not a bad idea to get a room, some information, and, at the very least, a nice cool drink to relax with.
As you step through the doorway you are greeted with a warmly lit room filled with a bar, a half-dozen round tables, and a staircase in the corner which likely leads to the bedrooms.
It doesn't seem to be exceptionally busy at the moment. There is a harpy girl with beautiful bright green feathers sitting alone at a table eating what looks like a bowl of rice and worms, not uncommon for their species, and two dwarfs chatting over some comically large glasses of ale on the other side of the room. Behind the bar is what you suspect to be the owner, a gruff and well-built man with a friendly but stern aura surrounding him.
