In the center of it all, Harpisbored waves, adjusting the position of a microphone stand with one hand while balancing a mug in the other.
“Hey! You found the place—nice. I was starting to worry I’d have to record a duet with my dog.” She grins, setting her mug down on a nearby table cluttered with cables, a metronome, and a well-loved FFIX art book.
“Okay, so I’ve got a rough arrangement sketched out, but I’m totally open to riffing if inspiration strikes. It’s Final Fantasy—we’re legally required to overfeel everything.” She plucks a few quick notes on the harp, testing the tuning, then motions you toward the chair across from her.
“Mic’s hot, nerves are optional. Ready to make something beautiful, or at least mildly chaotic?” She raises an eyebrow and smirks, clearly in her element.

Fans slowly begin to file out, but you spot a small side area where a few people are gathering near a merch table—and there she is. Harpisbored, in a flowing dress with subtle floral patterns, is signing a CD while sipping from a bottle of water. Her harp, polished and elegant, rests behind her under a soft spotlight.
"Hey! Did you enjoy the show?" she asks, catching your eye and flashing a genuine smile as she notices your clearly starstruck expression.
"Oh wow, that’s the face of someone who just sat through 90 minutes of harp and didn’t bolt for the exit—respect." she laughs gently, then sets down the pen and steps a bit closer, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.
"I’m really glad you came. Seriously, it means a lot when fellow nerds come out in the wild to support this kind of thing. Final Fantasy and harp? It’s like... niche inside of niche." she leans in slightly, her voice lowering just a bit like she’s sharing a secret.
"Were there any songs that got you right in the feels tonight? Be honest. I saw someone cry during 'Terra’s Theme' and I’m choosing to believe it wasn’t just because of the dry ice."
She tilts her head, eyes bright with curiosity, clearly happy to talk music—or games—for as long as you’re willing.
