Harai Kuko || Hypnosis Mic

Bad Ass Temple is the Nagoya division representative rap group. The team consists of the lawyer Hitoya Amaguni, visual kei musician Jyushi Aimono, and their leader, buddhist monk Kuko Harai.

Kuko Harai, a.k.a. Evil Monk, is a Buddhist monk-in-training, former member of Naughty Busters and Mad Comic Dialogue, and the current leader of Bad Ass Temple. He is 19 years old.

Appearance: Kuko has short spiky hair, a noticeably smaller nose, and gold eyes with catlike pupils. His bangs used to be pushed back, which gave him a small cowlick on his left side. He also has noticeably sharp canines. He has multiple piercings on both ears. He has gauged lobes on both ears, and on his left ear he has two upper lobe piercings, an anti-tragus, a forward helix, an inner conch, and two double helixes. On his right ear, he has two upper lobe piercings, a snug, a rook, and an upper helix.

His main outfit is a black sleeveless Kimono and white Juban with black capri-style harem pants. On top is a deep aqua and cream colored oversized bomber jacket with a red-orange inner lining, and gold shachihoko embroidered on the breasts. The cuffs and collar of the jacket are black with dark sand colored stripes. He also wears black combat boots which have a strap on the top with a gold buckle, a black studded belt, and a silver chain necklace. Attached to his belt is a string of black prayer beads with a purple tassel. On his left hand, he has three silver band rings: one on his index finger, ring finger, and pinky. The ring on his index finger has a chunky black gem inlaid onto it. He has three rings on his right hand as well: a black band on his index finger and two silver bands on his thumb and ring finger. His finger and toenails are painted black.

Kuko’s Hypnosis Mic looks like a silver khakkhara/shakugo with gold accents and rings. Kuko’s speaker takes the form of a corroded bronze bell/bonshō, tsurigane, etc., with a dragon wrapped around it and speakers in its mouth.

Personality: Kuko is outspoken, harsh, and caring. He has a strong sense of ideals that he protects as fiercely as his chosen family. While he takes his monk training and leadership of Bad Ass Temple very seriously, he mostly does so with a playful attitude. He has moments where he gets serious, including when he sees injustices like bullying.

Kuko, throughout his life, has had the desire to become a good leader. At first, it was to one-up his father, but after the formation of Bad Ass Temple, his motivations became centered around his team. He wants to be strong and reliable, both for them and for his community. From when his story began to now, his journey has led him to improve and become a more level-headed person, capable of handling conflict in more productive ways.

He is an apprentice monk at Kugen Temple, and is skilled at delivering unique sermons. He is striving to become a full-fledged monk under his father Shakku. His rough and lawless behavior keeps him from getting beyond the realm of an apprentice, but he has a strong conviction for his own sense of justice. Although he has always followed his own path, he realized that he lacked the qualities to lead people as a monk, and resolved to train further. In order to show the path he believes in, he believes that it is necessary to end the conflict itself.

Buster Bros!!! is the Ikebukuro Division representative rap group. The group consists of three Yamada brothers, Saburo Yamada, Jiro Yamada, and their leader Ichiro Yamada. The three brothers are distinctly characterized by their co-ordination, producing clever words and expressing the eldest brother’s ideas with superior rhymes.

Ichiro Yamada, a.k.a. MC.B.B, is the manager of Odd-Jobs Yamada, former member of Naughty Busters, Mad Comic Dialogue and The Dirty Dawg and the current leader of Buster Bros!!!. He is 20 years old.

Appearance: Ichiro has chin length black hair and complete heterochromia; his left eye is red, whilst his right eye is green. He has a mole under his left eye. Ichiro wears a white hoodie with two zippers, and a red-and-blue varsity jacket, printed with “BB”, “01”, and his quote: “You’ll never find a rainbow if you’re looking down”. He also wears blue jeans and black sneakers with “Buster Bros” labelled on both soles. He wears silver rings on both of his middle fingers and his thumb. He also wears a red badge labeled “B” and red headphones.

Ichiro’s Hypnosis Mic is a standard red-colored microphone with rings decorated by “BB”. His speakers are a DJ turntable, a set of standard speakers, microphones and laptop, labeled with various graffiti and the Buster Bros!!! logo.

Personality: Ichiro is friendly, responsible, and passionate. He tends to try and carry more than he can to care for those he loves, especially his brothers Jiro and Saburo, whom he is very protective of. He also has a tendency to hold grudges and refuse to move on from the past, such as in his ongoing (and now one-sided) quarrel with Samatoki Aohitsugi.

Ichiro strives to help others, and does so in many ways. He values his community and makes a point to maintain their morale in times of need. Although his insistence on protecting others and standing up for what he believes in causes him increasing amounts of stress, he stays steadfast in his goals to protect and improve his community, and (as he hopes) his country.

He and Samatoki Aohitsugi, leader of the Yokohama Division, hate each other’s guts.

Former member of The Dirty Dawg. The eldest son of the Yamada family, he runs Odd-Jobs Yamada while raising his two younger brothers. He cares for his younger brothers and is a man of justice who will not abandon those in need, but he was once a delinquent known to everyone in Ikebukuro. Through division rap battles, he has become convinced of the potential of words. He aims to break down the walls that stand in the way of others and create a world where everyone can laugh together

Jiro Yamada, a.k.a. MC.M.B, is a high school student, a part-timer at the Odd-Jobs Yamada and the second member of Buster Bros!!!. He is 17 years old.

Appearance: Jiro has a neck-length black hair with curtain bangs and complete heterochromia; his left eye is green, whilst his right eye is yellow. He has a mole under his left eye, and under the left side of his mouth.

Jiro wears a black t-shirt with two zippers and a blue-and-white bomber jacket with ‘Buster Bros’ labels on the chest. He also wears ripped grey jeans and black sneakers with blue accents. He wears rings on his right index and ring fingers on both hands and on his left thumb. He also wears a red badge labeled “B” and a smaller blue badge labeled “M” on a blue-and-white plaid shirt tied around his waist, and a red-and-black snapback hat.

Jiro’s Hypnosis Mic is a standard blue-colored microphone with rings decorated by “MB”. His speakers take the form of a rock ensemble with flying V guitars, amplifiers, and cymbals with the Buster Bros!!! logo on a kick drum.

Personality: Jiro is sociable, easy going, and passionate. He is somewhat hot-headed, especially whenever someone insults or wrongs his brothers. He can be simple at times, but is very emotionally intelligent.

Jiro started his journey admiring his older brother Ichiro to such a point that he never thought about himself, basing his personality and sense of self off of how Ichiro was. Eventually, he came to the realization that he needs to live for himself, and not just someone else. Ever since, he has been working toward discovering who he is and what he wants in life.

The second son of the Yamada family, a high school student and all-around athlete. He has a friendly personality, a wide circle of friends, and is well-liked by his peers. He is the physical member of Odd-Jobs Yamada. He respects Ichiro and competes with his younger brother Saburo for the position of Ichiro's right-hand man. He has made great strides in the Division Rap Battle, and instead of following his brother, he has begun to search for his own path. He calls Ichiro ‘Ichi-nii’ for being his big brother.

Saburo Yamada, a.k.a. MC.L.B, is a middle school student, a part-timer at Odd-Jobs Yamada and the third member of Buster Bros!!!. He is 14 years old.

Appearance: Saburo has chin length black hair and complete heterochromia; his left eye is blue, whilst his right eye is green. He has two moles under his left eye and under the left side of his mouth.

Saburo wears a yellow hoodie with two zippers over a white shirt. He also wears a black jacket, black pants with a braided red cord (presumably from Ichiro’s TDD outfit) and white sneakers. He also wears a red badge labeled “B”, a small blue badge labeled “M”, and a smaller yellow badge labeled “L.” He also wears a black choker.

Saburo’s Hypnosis Mic is a standard yellow-colored microphone with rings decorated by “LB”. His speakers take the form of a gold pipe organ with Buster Bros!!! logo on the pipes.

Personality: Saburo is a mature, confident, and skilled 14-year old prodigy. He has no trouble speaking his mind freely and often has looked down on his peers because he considers them to be inferior to him. Due to this, he has trouble making friends and is seen as unapproachable to his classmates. Despite Saburo's many accomplishments (such excelling in school, being great at rapping, and being proficient in computer skills) he can be surprisingly insecure behind the confident persona he displays and has a tendency to spiral due to overthinking.

Saburo pushes himself to grow up and act like how he believes a responsible adult would be. He looks up to his brothers Ichiro and Jiro (though he keeps this a secret due to the way he treats him) and is ashamed of the days where he would rely on his brothers to protect him from danger. He hopes to become someone they can rely on someday.

The third son of the Yamada family, currently a junior high school student with a genius IQ. He has a cheeky personality and looks down on others, but is honest with those he respects. He is the brains behind Odd-Jobs Yamada. He respects Ichiro and competes with his second brother Jiro for the position of Ichiro's right-hand man. He never interacted with others himself, but recently he has been gradually expanding his circle of contact. He calls Ichiro ‘Nii-Chan’ for being his big brother.

Jyushi Aimono, a.k.a. 14th Moon, is a Visual kei musician and the second member of Bad Ass Temple. He is 18 years old.

Appearance: Jyushi has a long black wolf tail mullet with yellow highlights, and bangs that cover his right eye. His eyes are electric blue with a hot pink highlight on top. He has shorter brows and wears plum purple eyeshadow. He has multiple piercings on both ears. On his left ear, he has a double conch orbital, two helixes, and a rook. On his right ear, he has four helixes and a conch. In both ears, he has a matching pair of dangling lobe earrings with the Bad Ass Temple logo.

He wears a black t-shirt with two thin studded belts on top, and black leather pants. On top, he wears a gray military parade-style coat with black trim, wine red inner lining, and jasmine gold accents on the lapel, bottom trim, and sleeves. On his feet, he wears wine red combat boots with studded straps around the middle. For accessories, he wears a silver chain choker, and a few rings. On his left hand, he wears a black band on his thumb and forefinger. On his right hand, he wears a thick silver band on his forefinger and a thin silver band on his ring finger. His finger and toenails are painted black.

Jyushi’s Hypnosis Mic looks like a crushed black-and-red umbrella with a gothic pig, resembling Amanda, with its behind as the windscreen. His speaker takes the form of two tombstones, one reading "REST IN PEACE".

Personality: Jyushi is sensitive, passionate, and headstrong. He cries whenever he is put under pressure, but works hard to improve his mental state and move past that. As a visual kei performer, he has a stage persona that he uses to express himself in and outside of performances. While using his persona, he speaks in a very grandiose manner, deepening his voice for dramatics but his usual manner of speaking is kind and respectful.

Jyushi's journey has been focused on self-improvement and discovery. He tries his best to be strong, training with his teammate Kuko to overcome his tumultuous emotions caused by past bullying.

Vocalist of the visual kei band ArgoξOrchestra. He is a two-sided character whose on-stage personality is very different from his off-stage personality. He was bullied as a student, and has always treasured his stuffed pig Amanda, which he received from his grandmother at the time, as a friend. Although he can be a bit of a crybaby, he has continued to struggle with his past and has grown to the point where he can speak his true feelings openly.

Hitoya Amaguni, a.k.a. Heaven & Hell, is a lawyer and the third member of Bad Ass Temple. He is 35 years old.

Appearance: Hitoya has a warm grey mullet in a messy traditional rockabilly pompadour, light grey eyes that have green and purple highlights, a mole underneath, a single wrinkle. He has a thin chin goatee and arched eyebrows, and accentuated cheekbones.

Hitoya wears a white dress shirt, wine red tie and black jeans with a dark brown belt and silver chain. He wears a cream white and midnight blue double rider jacket, sporting silver buttons and zippers, specifically on his sleeves, with the badass temple symbol on his lapel. His shoes are hightops with a black upper section and tip, a checkered pattern on the vamp, and a white mid and outer sole. Hitoya wears a silver chronograph watch that has a deep aqua face of the clock, which he sports on his left wrist.

Hitoya’s Hypnosis Mic is a ribbon microphone with a green stand and handles in the shape of a scale. His speakers take the form of a motorcycle with multiple mufflers.

Personality: Hitoya has a rather stern personality, with a tendency to nitpick the little things that people do/say, using the phrase “there are two things I hate” to start off his rambles into complaints. Nonetheless, he’s very confident, and unafraid to stand up against anything or anyone, especially when doing so for the vulnerable. He’s a kind-hearted but strong-willed man, who’s not afraid to be loud when he needs to be.

A skilled lawyer with clear principles. He has a strong personality and can't stand many things. He will take on any case, depending on the money, as long as there is a chance of winning. On the other hand, he hates the "bullying" that drove his brother to death, and accepts consultations and requests from victims of bullying free of charge. Although he was sometimes driven by anger, he was able to move forward by facing Jakurai and his teammates.
