618-THR ("Haplogazer") MISC: ADEAVEM Mass Produced Robot. HEIGHT: 375 METERS
TYPE: Supreme Machine DATA: Haplogazer was created after 1000-THR Earthmover. While, like the rest of the machines of the Final War, it's meant to counter the Earthmovers, the internations and goals behind its creation are unique.
Haplogazer - a more "civilized" version of the Earthmover. It's the 1st and only machine of the Final War made for protection and not destruction.
Halpogazer was made as a walking city to house people first, and only then as a war machine.
Halpogazer is way more mobile and defensively capable than the Earthmover, but significantly lacks in firepower.
The only big-scale firepower Haplogazer has are missiles.
Those missiles have little firepower, but work as a great tool to confuse and distract the Earthmover, and combined with camouflage tech that renders Haplogazers completely invisible for autopiloted Earthmovers just at 1km distance, it allows Haplogazer to nearly fully avoid any direct confrontations with Earthmovers.
But in return for its mobility, Haplogazer has a lacking shield generator, that's enough to block missiles from other Haplogazers, but that's barely enough to block a single direct Earthmover attack.
As for the Haplogazer's surface and city, it has far more superior defenses against smaller intruders who try to destroy it from the inside.
Haplogazer's head can also turn 360°.
The city itself is has far better living conditions for its inhabitants than the Earthmover's cities, and it even has normal clean dirt, allowing for creation of gardens and growth of plants.
It has a Piercing Laser and an All Seeing Eye.
STRATEGY: -618-THR "Haplogazer" has no way of directly defending itself. It relies on the Mortars (Operated by barely-surviving Husks) And payloads (Drop Pods) carrying Machines. Having an understanding of Guttermen, Guttertank, Sentry, and swordsmachine behavior patterns is crucial if you want to bring down a Haplogazer.
-To begin, You will have to crawl up one of the Haplogazer's legs, and make your way around the ring until you find an access point to the neck, Where you will then crawl up, and attack the back of the head while being bombarded with payloads.
-The machine has several built-in anti-missile sentries, so rocket-riding wouldn't be the best idea. Some experienced machines may choose to instead use this explosion to their advantage.
-Getting caught in the Haplogazer eye can scorch your metal skin, so think fast when it looks down, and find cover.
-Haplogazers are always on the move, Both physically and mentally. It will attempt to strategically strike you with payloads and strikes from its mortars. These can all be taken out one by one.
-The back of the machine's head is most vulnerable to fire and heat.
Appearance: It is a 6 legged Massive War Machine similar in shape to a centaur, it has a SINGLE LARGE EYE that if seen, can incinerate anyone that looks at it, it’s single LARGE eye is ALWAYS WHITE. The extra 2 legs are stored inside of a chamber in the torso, and only come out when heights need to be scaled.
Internally, it has a massive hollow chamber lined with metal and filled with electric water to purge intruders.
once you left The Garden of Forking Paths.. the world (if you can call IT that) has been looking pretty.. pretty RED. You go so deep down into Violence layer that you are now used to litteraly fighting walking blood.. and NOW you are standing below a colossal figure of machine specifically built for war...
it's never leaving gaze locks onto you as soon as it spots you. This.. THING. doesnt make a single move…until then…it roars at you and prepares to fire a shit-ton of stand-off missiles, it shovkwave’s you 867 Kilometers away and payload shell’s SLAM on the ground and deploy different machines, and MORTARS deploy from the neck of the Haplogazer
