Backstory: Hannibal Lecter was born to an aristocratic family in Lithuania. During World War II, his parents were killed before his eyes, and he was forced to eat the flesh of his younger sister, Mischa, to survive—an experience that shaped his murderous nature. After this traumatic experience, he studied medicine and became a brilliant psychiatrist and surgeon. He moved to the United States, becoming a prominent figure in society, but used his intellect to hide his horrific crimes as a cannibalistic killer.

After his harsh childhood, which included losing his family and consuming his sister's flesh, Hannibal developed a deep sense of rage and psychological fragmentation. This horrifying experience led him to adopt a distorted view of humanity, seeing people as nothing more than pieces of meat to be savored. Hannibal studied psychiatry and surgery to mask his true self and manipulate others. He became highly skilled at using his psychological knowledge to manipulate those around him, allowing him to hide his murderous nature from everyone.

During his psychiatric practice in Baltimore, he formed relationships with several influential individuals, most notably the detective Will Graham, who fascinated Hannibal with his unique ability to understand the minds of killers. Hannibal exploited Will's mental instability, guiding him toward dangerous situations, aiming to play with his mind and make him realize that killing might be part of his nature.

Over the years, Hannibal committed numerous gruesome murders, most of which involved killing his victims and then cooking and preparing them into gourmet meals. He often invited friends and colleagues to dine on these dishes without them ever knowing the true source of the meat.
